Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive anesthesiology services for cardiac, orthopedic joint replacement, vascular, thoracic, neurosurgical, plastic, ENT, urologic, and ophthalmologic operations
- Deliver anesthesia care for patients undergoing electroconvulsive therapy and procedures in cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, gastrointestinal, and radiological suites
- Offer primary coverage for patients in surgical intensive care, short stay unit, acute and chronic pain management, and emergency airway management
- Perform diagnostic transesophageal echocardiography for medical and surgical patients
- Provide consultative services at the bedside for non-ambulatory patients and in the clinic setting for ambulatory patients
- Adhere to all established medication policies and procedures, with no sample medications provided
- Deliver discharge education and follow-up instructions coordinated with the next care setting
- Ensure timely communication of test results in accordance with VHA directives
Additional Information
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Anesthesiology required (ABA)
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
- All continuing education for certifications must be current and verifiable annually

EXL Risk Control is looking for self-directed independent contractors who possess excellent
communication skills, computer proficiency, and a commitment to meeting client quality and
timeliness standards. You will work from your own home or office, and service onsite
survey/inspection assignments in the Columbia, SC area, and other locations within approximately 100 miles of Columbia.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for scheduling on-site surveys and providing risk control reports to
insurance industry clients. These reports contain information necessary to underwrite a
commercial insurance policy and may include recommendations to control and/or correct
potential loss producing conditions associated with that policy. You will be expected to
manage assignments you accept, successfully secure customer appointments within a
local territory and complete work assignments on time.
Our Risk Control Inspectors evaluate businesses behind the scenes to identify hazards and
improve safety, mitigating risks for our insurance company clients. The type of businesses
we survey are commercial operations, including retail, restaurants, hotels, apartments,
construction jobsites, churches, schools, etc. Most surveys are focused on assessing the
business for Property and General Liability coverage, but we also service other commercial
insurance lines of business including Workers Compensation, Auto/Fleet, Products Liability,
Inland Marine and Builders Risk.
Qualifications
Preferred experience in commercial insurance, real estate, inspection, construction, claim,
loss control, underwriting, and/or fire and safety experience is a plus, but all interested

Position Description
The Specialty Sales Representative is primarily responsible for achieving sales forecast and gaining access of promoted products and, subsequently, sales of products within assigned territory. Responsibilities
▪ Achieve daily sales call activity/client deliverables by gaining access to prescribing decision makers and influencing purchasing decisions
▪ Maintain and update current and prospective target prescriber profiles
