UNC Health is currently seeking a full-time & PRN Interventional Radiologist to work at UNC Health - Nash Hospital in Rocky Mount, NC, only 1 hour from Raleigh and The Triangle area.

Position Information:
• We are recruiting for multiple radiologists to join the team at UNC Health Nash, including Interventional Radiologists, Diagnostic/Procedural Radiologists & Breast Imaging Radiologists.
• Will perform procedures in the radiology department, as well as outpatient work.
• Work Scheduling Cycle: 1 week of day shift, 1 week evening/wknd shift, 1 week off

Duke University Health System seeks to hire an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for high-acuity, relationship-centered pediatric care to join our Pediatric Transplant & Cellular Therapy/Oncology Unit. This team plays a vital role in Duke Children’s mission of Advancing Health Together.
Unit Overview
This 17-bed blended pediatric specialty unit cares for a unique and complex patient population, including:
- Stem cell transplant recipients
- Cellular therapy patients (including CAR-T)
- Pediatric oncology patients with high-risk hematologic malignancies and brain tumors
- Children with sickle cell disease, metabolic disorders, and genetic conditions
The unit supports longer-term continuity-based care with an average length of stay of ~30 days, allowing nurses to develop deep and meaningful connections with patients and families.
Acuity Level:
- Transplant & cellular therapy patients: ICU-level (“ICU light”)
- Oncology patients: step-down acuity
Staffing & Support Structure
- RN-to-patient ratio: 1:1 to 1:3 depending on acuity
- Free-standing charge nurse 24/7 (no patient assignment)
- Health Unit Coordinator 24/7
- Nursing Assistants/NCAs on unit daily (7a–7p)
- Multidisciplinary rounds with active RN collaboration
What You Will Do
As a Clinical Nurse II, you will deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care in alignment with the medical and nursing plans of care. Responsibilities include:
Core Responsibilities
- Perform thorough pediatric assessments and ongoing monitoring of high-acuity transplant, cellular therapy, and oncology patients.
- Plan, provide, and document individualized nursing care using the nursing process.
- Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive regimens.
- Provide central line management (Broviac, Port-A-Cath, PICC).
- Administer and monitor blood products.
- Identify and respond to early signs of clinical deterioration.
- Educate patients and families on treatment, expectations, and home care.

- Serve as charge nurse or team leader as needed.
- Act as a preceptor and support the growth of new staff and learners.

JOB SUMMARY:
Performs professional nursing care for patients in a primary care setting (the home or alternate site setting) according to nursing practices, agency policies and regulations. Provide nursing services to patients and families in accordance with the scope of the RN as defined by the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Plan, provide, supervise and document professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process for patients in accordance with the NC nurse practice act, physician orders and established policies and procedures. 3. Assess educational needs of patients/families concerning alterations in health, the disease process, and plan of care.
4. Develop and implement an effective discharge plan for patients to begin at the initiation of services.
5. Obtain or develop appropriate educational resources for patients/families; plan and implement appropriate educational interventions; evaluate effectiveness and outcomes of patient/family teaching.
6. Role model professional nursing through conduct, appearance, communication, mutual respect, ethical decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
7. Participate in weekly interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences, as necessary, to assure appropriate care and service are provided to the patient.
8. Maintain up to date knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid/JCAHO standards thru inservices and workshop attendance.
9. Assesse the severity of patient symptoms, communicate to the physician and record significant findings, intervenes as appropriate.

11. Complete documentation accurately, timely, concisely.

16. Delegate and supervise care given by NCA’s/LPN’s.
17. Develop plan of care for aides, assign care to aides based on the skills of the aide, the availability of the aide for patient care continuity, patient preference (when possible), and other considerations as determined by the patient’s care needs.
18. Identify personal learning needs and implements corrective action: assists in planning and conducting staff development programs to improve DHCC effectiveness.

Home Health
- Case manage interdisciplinary team of clinicians caring for patients in the home.
- Complete required OASIS Comprehensive assessments at admission, recertification, Resumption of care and discharge. This assessment determines patient reimbursement for Medicare and other episodic payors and also results in publicly reported patient outcomes and additional payment impacts related to value based purchasing
- Work with interdisciplinary team and patient providers to prevent re-hospitalization of the patient.
- Be aware of patient insurance requirements and assures authorization for all services have been obtained.
- Appropriate utilization of resources for patient including visit and supply utilization.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND REQUIREMENTS:
Perform Patient care primarily in the patient’s residence or skilled nursing facility (>50%)

Education and Formal Training
- Associate Degree or Diploma, Nursing required
