Responsibilities




  • Decision making: Responsible for making decisions surrounding vehicle diagnostics and repair

  • Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties including: standard vehicle maintenance, preventive maintenance, complex repairs with minimal (if any) support

  • Demonstrate the ability to access and use internal and external maintenance documents - Diagnoses and repairs complex mechanical and electronic problems with minimal (if any) support, utilizing diagnostic computers/software when applicable

  • Performs remote triage to with RCRC and customers to determine best solution to assist roadside breakdowns

  • Performs facility maintenance duties

  • Interacts with customers/drivers to properly determine nature of complaint once assigned a task

  • Interact with non-contractual customers, exhibit account management skills to independently facilitate preventative maintenance, repair issue resolution, and discuss new repair estimates with customer.   • Preventive maintenance (PM) and vehicle repairs responsibilities include but is not limited to:

  • A/C & Heater: Operate the system and recognize if the system is cooling or not (PM related); Perform system checks such as power to compressor, visual inspection of condenser, belt tension, etc; Identify Freon and oil leaks

  • Brakes-Air: Identify components of air brake system; Operate brakes and identify irregular noises, air leaks; Perform simple air system tests; Measure lining thickness; Adjust brakes; Perform air brake sections of P.M.; Measure drums, rotors, cam bushings Perform brake repairs per (BA298) once trained and qualified

  • Brakes-Hydraulic: Road test for proper operation; Make visual inspections for leaks; Check park brake operation; Check fluid level; Measure lining thickness; Adjust service brakes; Perform brake repairs per (BH298) once trained and qualified; Adjust park brakes

  • Cargo Handling/Transfer, Liftgates: Identify leaks; Operate lift gate; Identify make and model; Add fluid to bring to proper level; Make minor adjustments to lift platform and its controls; Identify basic malfunctions

  • Charging Systems (electrical): Visually inspect batteries; Clean connections; Check condition of belts; Test batteries; Check alternator mounting and pulley; Replace and adjust belts; Perform basic charging system check

  • Clutch: Lubricate throw-out bearing, linkage, shafts, and cables; Identify proper clutch operation; Identify proper clutch brake operation

  • Cooling Systems: Check and adjust coolant levels; Visually inspect system for leaks; Make minor repairs such as hose replacements, fan shrouds, leaking fittings; Recognize permanent antifreezes and their requirements; Use refractometer; Use pressure tester; Flush and refill systems

  • Cranking System (electrical): Inspect and test batteries; Visually inspect cables and cranking motor; Clean the battery cables, connections and starter; Replace batteries; Charge and check batteries; Replace or repair defective cables

  • Lighting System and Electrical Accessories: Repair minor wiring problems; Replace bulbs, lenses and simple light assemblies; Repair minor lighting problems; Replace and adjust sealed beams; Install or replace accessories such as heated mirrors, fans, spotlights

  • Drive Axles: Inspect housings for leaks; Change oil and filter, if required, and clean breathers

  • Driveline: Lubricate drive line; Inspect components for wear or damage

  • Gas Engines-All Engines: Check and adjust oil levels; Identify unusual noises, and oil leaks

  • Fuel Systems: Replace and prime fuel filter; Check gas and diesel fuel system components such as fuel lines, pickup tubes, return lines, etc, for proper integrity and condition

  • Preventive Maintenance: Proper lube techniques; Minimal tire inspection; Brake check/applied stroke; Battery check; Under vehicle check/loose components; Initial Fault code identification; All PMs (PM298) including C supplements to exclude overheads, engine brake overhauls, DPF servicing, clean doser injector, servicing ArvinMeritor unitized hubs, inspect Lece Neville alternator brushes, inspect modulator system for proper operation, inspect/adjust shift selector cable, pop test Isuzu injectors

  • Steering and Non-driven Axles and Alignment: Lubricate grease fittings, check and adjust fluid levels; Check and adjust toe; Check all steering components for wear; Check and adjust trailer axle alignment; Adjust wheel bearings including replacement of wheel seal

  • Suspension-Chassis and Cab: Identify makes and models; Identify normal operation; Identify and repair minor air leaks; Identify malfunctions of basic nature, broken springs, excessive wear on bushings, etc

  • Tire and Wheel Maintenance: Perform air pressure checks; Check tread depth; Identify tires that need to be changed or repaired; Perform tire P.M. checks; Replace tire and wheel assemblies; Mount/dismount and rotate tires; Perform tire/wheel checks/repairs per (TW298)

  • Vehicle Coupling System (PM): Lubricate fifth wheel plate and slider mechanism; Operate slider mechanism

  • Utilize key functions of Shop Management System and electronic documentation available. Perform work in accordance with all federal/provincial and corporate compliance guidelines (i.e. safety, DOT). Use internal and external maintenance documents

POSITION SUMMARY
This position is accountable for leading, managing and directing assigned responsibilities and functions that contribute to the operational and financial success of the hospital clinical laboratory.

CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Directs personnel actions including recruiting, new hire actions, interviewing and selection of new staff, salary determinations, training, and personnel evaluations. Develops work goals and objectives for the hospital laboratory in accordance and alignment with company (LSA/SQL and Banner Health) goals; provides leadership, measures and feedback, and motivation for staff achievement of departmental goals.

2. Directs, facilitates and/or participates in task forces or councils to plan, implement/execute and coordinate programs and/or activities for the organization. Demonstrates and practices LSA/SQL values and ethical behaviors and Banner Health Performance Standards.

3. Directs the operations and management of the work flow process in alignment with LSA/SQL's Roadmap objectives and Banner Health's Strategic Initiatives Develops and reviews performance metrics and promotes and participates in Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt Teams to ensure quality care. Accountable for the laboratory maintaining accreditation, licensure and regulatory compliance with all applicable agencies. Ensures laboratory is compliant with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

4. Develops and oversees the laboratory budget in conjunction with hospital and integrated laboratory goals and objectives. Effectively manages resources to meet budgeted parameters. Focuses on all expenses and analyzes and communicates budget variances.

5. Serves as a communication liaison for the Integrated Laboratory System. Interacts with physicians, nurses, clients, system staff, all employees of the company and other healthcare professionals. Effectively communicates concerning technical and operational issues, as applicable, using appropriate verbal and written skills.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must possess a strong knowledge of business and/or healthcare as normally obtained through the completion of a bachelor's degree in business, health care administration or related field.
  • Must be qualified as a technical supervisor OR as a general supervisor depending on the specific site or discipline, as defined under CLIA '88 regulations.
  • Must have four (4) years leadership experience with direct reports and management level responsibility.
  • A significant understanding and knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures of different software programs is required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:




  • Removes excess metal and surface defects from aerospace hardware or machined surfaces using pneumatic or hand held abrasive wheels or belted grinding equipment.
  • Uses abrasive belt or wheel according to customer specifications or type of finish specified, product being polished, or amount of metal to be removed, using knowledge of polishing operations and abrasives. Monitors abrasive wheel or belt for wear.
  • Operates polisher, grinder, or deburring tools and removes metal and surface defects or contours edges of components based on specifications of blue-prints or work instructions.
  • Inspects work for acceptability of finish. Moves finished components to next work station for further processing.
  • Performs other work as assigned by the supervisor.


Position Requirements
  • Ability to lift or transfer components or objects of no more than 50 pounds.
  • Understand and follow written and oral instructions in English and possess basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and assist in tooling and process development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead Engineering review of in-process inspection results, supplying data summary to perspective parties and initiating next steps for resolution.

  • Support traveler/router development in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to assist Production & Quality readiness.

  • Assist in developing new and editing existing policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance to ISO9001, AS9100, & ITAR regulations
  • Support non-conformance reporting (NCR) by leading root cause analysis meetings utilizing RCCA tools to identify root causes, and support Quality in outlining corrective actions to drive continuous improvement, supporting and completing corrective action items where appropriate.
  • Work cross functionally with Quality, Operations, and Production to detect, evaluate, and eliminate scrap, reducing the cost of manufacturing for the company.
  • Research, identify, and implement cost reduction and optimization opportunities within manufacturing facility through lean manufacturing principles.
  • Act as liaison with customers, vendors, and staff to answer inquiries, concerns, or complaints about outgoing product.

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive maintenance plan for all process-related equipment and assets, ensuring high uptime and reliability.

  • Conduct Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) analyses and risk assessments for all process steps to identify potential failure modes and quality improvement opportunities.

  • Own the full lifecycle of process equipment, including selection, commissioning, monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating servicing or upgrades as needed.

  • Support the commissioning and validation of new server rack systems and upgrades, ensuring they meet design specifications and integrate smoothly into production.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, design, quality, and maintenance) and utilize data-driven insights to drive continuous process improvements and implement changes that enhance overall production performance.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or a related engineering discipline.

  • Experience : 8 years of transferrable experience in a process engineering, manufacturing engineering, or industrial engineering capacity within a manufacturing environment (with Bachelor's Degree) OR 6 years of transferrable experience in a process engineering, manufacturing engineering, or industrial engineering (with Master's Degree). Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered.

  • Proven experience with complex system assembly in a manufacturing setting, ideally involving computer/server hardware or server rack infrastructure.

  • Proficiency with process control systems, instrumentation, and various sensor technologies used in monitoring and automation.

  • Demonstrated experience with DMAIC methodology, root cause analysis, and other continuous improvement tools/methodologies (Kaizen, 5-Why, FMEA).

  • Excellent analytical skills, with strong communication and technical writing abilities for documenting processes and reporting results.

  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders using data-driven insights to drive process changes and improvements.

  • Proven ability to excel in a highly constrained, fast-paced production environment while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.

  • Hands-on mindset and teamwork orientation, with a willingness to be on the factory floor engaging directly with equipment and processes.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with assembly, testing, and integration of highly complex electronic hardware infrastructure.

  • Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt / Black Belt) or formal training in Lean Manufacturing principles.

  • Experience with 3D CAD modeling tools (SolidWorks) for designing fixtures, layouts, or process equipment modifications.

  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management standards and related regulatory compliance requirements in a manufacturing setting.

  • Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), especially as they relate to monitoring environmental controls and production processes.

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical devices such as fuses, motors, motor starters, proximity switches, circuit breakers, receptacles and plugs. Note: PLC experience is a plus.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical devices such as centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, roller conveyors, belt conveyors, palletizers, sanitary and non-sanitary valves, Fillers, check weighers, metal detectors, gearboxes, bearings, seals and etc.
  • Ability to use electrical equipment such as a volt meter and amp meter to determine electrical malfunctions on fuses, motors, motor starters and switches.
  • Use proper tools for aligning sprockets, sheaves and couplings on fans, motor drives, and pumps. Be able to track conveyor belts and align shafts.
  • Welding experience with Tig, Mig, Gas or stick.
  • Accountable for the QRMP (Quality Risk Management Process) standards as outlined in the plant's QRMP accountability document, including the implementation, improvement and ongoing maintenance.

Compensation:

  • 8-hour rate $36.57
  • 10-hour rate $33.20
  • 12-hour rate $31.80
