We are looking for a hands-on Purchasing Manager to take full ownership of procurement across both TCI Precision Metals and E-Z LOK. This is an individual contributor role reporting directly to the Owner/President. You will split your time between both facilities—primarily based at TCI in Gardena with approximately one day per week at the E-Z LOK facility in Los Alamitos. You will be responsible for strategic sourcing, day-to-day purchasing, inventory optimization, supplier management, and cost reduction for both operations. The right person combines sharp negotiation skills with deep knowledge of metals and manufactured components supply chains, and is comfortable working across two distinct product lines and ERP environments. This is a high-impact role with real visibility—your decisions will directly affect margins, on-time delivery, and operational efficiency across the entire organization.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with mills, metal distributors, and component suppliers across both TCI and E-Z LOK product lines
• Monitor supplier performance for quality, delivery, responsiveness, and cost competitiveness
• Research, identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors for raw materials, threaded insert components, packaging, and other supplies
• Negotiate pricing, terms, lead times, freight terms, and consignment or exclusivity arrangements
• Develop backup sourcing and disaster recovery strategies to ensure supply continuity for both divisions
• Oversee daily purchasing of raw materials, MRO items, packaging, and other supplies for both TCI and E-Z LOK
• Review and approve purchase orders within established dollar limits
• Manage freight purchasing and freight claims
• Ensure accurate order quantities, pricing, due dates, and vendor confirmations
• Expedite late orders and manage material shortages across both facilities
• Resolve PO discrepancies, invoice mismatches, and receiving issues
• Help set and maintain min/max levels, reorder points, safety stock, and order policies for both divisions
• Balance inventory availability against excess and obsolete stock
• Coordinate buys based on demand forecasts, customer orders, production schedules, and seasonality
• Support cycle count and inventory accuracy efforts where purchasing impacts inventory health
• Work closely with production, planning, warehouse, sales, and customer service teams at both TCI and E-Z LOK
• Ensure material availability to support manufacturing schedules without interruption at either facility
• Prioritize purchases for urgent jobs, stockouts, and customer commitments
• Communicate supply risks, delays, and allocation issues early and proactively
• Coordinate with quality on supplier corrective actions and vendor quality issues
• Ensure purchased materials meet specifications, certifications, and regulatory requirements (including AS9100 for TCI’s aerospace work)
• Maintain vendor documentation including W-9s, insurance certificates, conflict minerals declarations, country-of-origin documentation, and RoHS/REACH compliance records as applicable
• Drive cost reduction initiatives through negotiation, alternate sourcing, consolidation, and value analysis across both divisions
• Track purchase price variance (PPV) and document savings
• Review and respond to vendor price increases and market changes
• Identify freight, packaging, and minimum order quantity improvements
• Maintain accurate item and vendor purchasing data in the ERP systems (NetSuite & Epicor) for both TCI and E-Z LOK
• Review and update lead times, costs, supplier records, and purchasing parameters
• Leverage ERP/MRP outputs to plan and manage purchasing activity
• Report on open POs, late deliveries, supplier scorecards, inventory position, and savings across both divisions
• Serve as a backup for credit issues and order releases
• Review POs for accuracy, detail, and lead time alignment

• Proven track record of negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers
• Strong ERP proficiency—experience with NetSuite, Epicor, or similar manufacturing ERP systems
• Solid understanding of MRP logic, inventory management principles, and demand planning
• Experience managing supplier scorecards, corrective actions, and vendor qualification processes
• High attention to detail with strong analytical skills and comfort working with data
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Meet and Greet: Recreational Therapists are permitted to meet the individual seeking recreational therapy supports for 30 minutes prior to being approved to provide recreational therapy supports to the individual. The purpose of the Meet and Greet is to allow the individual and/or family to determine if the recreational therapist will be a good fit.
All Recreational Therapist staff will complete the following:
Assessment conducted initially and once annually.
Completion of an Individual Intake Form for each person supported in recreational therapy that has NOT previously received supports from Assisted Independence. The Individual Intake form is due upon completion of the first meeting the individual and/or their family.
Completion of a Functional Assessment of Characteristics for Therapeutic Recreation-Revised (FACTR-R) Assessment for all individuals supported over the age of 10 years-old. The assessment is to be completed within thirty (30) days of the first initial session.
Completion of the General Recreational Screening Tool (GRST) Assessment for any individual supported under the age of 10 years old. The assessment is to be completed within thirty (30) days of the first initial session.
Rights Assessment
Mini Mental State-Examination (MMSE) – Optional
Development of a Treatment Plan within fourteen (14) days after the completion of the Assessment, using the Assisted Independence, LLC. treatment plan template, including:
An assessment write-up, including scores
Priority needs of the individual
Measurable goals and objectives containing content, condition, and criterion
Recommended treatment modalities and activities
Two evidence-based peer reviewed journals or meta-analysis citing why the course of treatment is proven to be effective
Signature and credentials of the Recreational Therapist
The treatment plan must be updated once annually, including new assessment scores
Organizing and directing home and/or community-based activities for the individual supported. These activities may include adaptive sports, dramatics, arts and crafts, social activities, volunteer opportunities, and other recreational supports designed to restore, remediate, or rehabilitate
Transporting individuals supported to community locations, including, but not limited to, gymnasiums, parks, athletic facilities, outdoors, museums, sporting events, children’s playhouses, community centers, amusement parks, sightseeing locations, monuments, educational facilities, or any potential place or resources where recreational therapy can be conducted.
All Recreational Therapist staff are required to provide one-on-one supports to the individuals.
After each session conducted, the Recreational Therapists are to document the session using narrative notes online.
For every 45 minutes of recreational therapy support provided, the Recreational Therapist has 15 minutes to complete necessary documentation (notetaking, assessments, treatment plans, etc.)
Mandatory attendance of all quarterly meetings consisting of each person supported Individualized Support Team (IST). The quarterly meetings are set three months in advance. During the quarterly meeting, Recreational Therapists should document who is in attendance, medication changes, changes in behavior, reports or recommendations from team members, reports about school as applicable, incident reports, home life, extracurricular activities, health status, education towards rights, or any other pertinent information to the holistic well-being of the individual supported.

Qualifications:

The Production Operator is responsible for setting up, loading and operating production machines, and making necessary adjustments to ensure the quality of the product meets required specifications. The Production Operator may work in one of three areas - Spooling, Stranding or Closing, and is responsible for his/her own safety and the safety of those around the machines. The Production Operator works under the direct supervision of a Production Supervisor and the technical oversight of the Process Engineering and Quality department.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Record set-up information at the start of each order.
- Remove empty bobbins from the previously completed order and load full bundles of wire or bobbins using appropriate lifting devices.
- Weld or knot new wire new supply to trailing end of previous order (if applicable).
- Thread machine by pulling wire or strands through guides, tension rollers, and/or stranding or pre-forming heads.
- Secure, install and adjust the proper dies, stranding/pre-forming head, crushing rollers, post-former and carboloy rings as required by the order.
- Set the proper lay according to order specifications.
- Adjust tension and die pressure at the beginning of the order and as required throughout the entire order.
- Start lube pump as required by the order.
- Inspect and replace tensioning devices as needed.
- Inspect the set-change, including cutting a strand for helix-height measurement before requesting approval from the production supervisor.
- Properly tag product, stage in proper storage area, and record all production.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Perform all job duties in accordance with work instructions and quality standards.

Description
The Final Inspection Apprentice position is primarily responsible for inspecting and recording dimensions of aerospace components per process sheets, Inspection reports, Blueprints and applicable specifications utilizing specified gages and methods to ensure the quality requirements are met prior to presenting the final aerospace component to the customers.
Responsibilities:
- Review all raw material and processing certifications IAW Customer and PO requirements.
- Utilize Material Release database to document quality review/activities.
- Visual and dimensional verification (inspection) to requirements utilizing: micrometers, calipers, bore gages, thread gages, and other inspection equipment as required.
- Review and acceptance of Travelers to assure all sign-off complete and revision levels are to Operation Book Requirements.
- Presentation of inspected/received parts to various customer representatives and the resolution to any customer questions or concerns.
- Initiation of Discrepancy Reports, internal and external for products not meeting drawing requirements.
- Perform tasks as assigned by Supervisor and/or Team Leader.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand or sit for extended period of time.
- Fine motor skills with frequent hand and arm movement.
- Frequent twisting and bending.
Unusual Environmental Conditions:
- Loud machining environment; exposure to aerospace metals, lubricants, and chemicals.
