Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Underground Construction Site Supervisor to oversee and coordinate underground telecommunications construction operations. This role is responsible for supervising directional drilling crews performing fiber optic and coaxial cable installations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with construction plans and company standards. The Site Supervisor will manage daily field operations, coordinate crews and equipment, communicate with project management, and serve as the primary on‑site leader for all underground construction activities. The ideal candidate has strong leadership experience in underground or utility construction, a solid understanding of directional drilling operations, and the ability to manage multiple crews and job sites effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily underground construction operations, including horizontal directional drilling (HDD), conduit installation, and fiber/coax placement

• Lead and coordinate drill operators, locators, laborers, and subcontractors on active job sites

• Ensure all work is performed according to construction drawings, permits, utility locates, and project specifications

• Monitor job progress, productivity, and quality to ensure schedules and production goals are met

• Coordinate equipment, materials, and crew needs with project managers, warehouse staff, and dispatch

• Serve as the primary point of contact on site for utility companies, inspectors, clients, and internal leadership

• Identify and resolve field issues such as utility conflicts, bore path adjustments, or site constraints

• Maintain accurate job documentation, including daily reports, photos, as‑built information, and crew time tracking

• Ensure job sites are kept clean, organized, and compliant from start through restoration and closeout

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in underground construction, telecommunications, or utility installation

• Prior experience supervising crews in directional drilling or underground utility environments

• Strong understanding of HDD operations, utility locating, and safe digging practices

• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, prints, and utility maps

• Proven leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills in a field environment

• Valid driver’s license

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience supervising fiber optic or coaxial telecom projects

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification

• Hands‑on experience as a drill operator or utility locator

Position Summary

This role serves as the essential first step in the Lineman career path. As a Groundman, you will receive comprehensive training and hands-on field experience. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Project Support: Assist with aerial and underground construction for fiber, telecom, and general utility projects, including power and broadband infrastructure.

• Equipment Operation: Work around and operate construction equipment, including bucket trucks, utility trucks, and digger derricks.

As an Offer Management Pricing Analyst at Granite Telecommunications, the role will focus on coordinating the company's efforts in creating customer quote proposals. General Summary of Position:

This position is for a telecommunications, structured cabling, and technology Field Service Technician. The job will consist of completing various cable runs, hardware moves, adds, changes and "smart hands" installations for Granite customers, primarily within a 50-mile service area radius. The technician will also be responsible for leading subcontracted crews on larger projects in the area. Company vehicle provided. Technician will directly report to a remote supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Communicate effectively with the NI team members and departments that schedule each service call
  
• Complete basic structured cabling repairs and new installations according to industry standard practices
  
• Smart Hands installations and maintenance with various technology platforms and changing SOW's
  
• Provide all required job and project deliverables within 24 hours or otherwise specified in an SOW
  
• Keep company vehicle clean and serviced properly
  
• Keep all materials & tools stocked. Accountability maintained through scheduled inventory counts.
  

Required Qualifications:

• 
  
• 5-10 years structured cabling experience
  
• Ability to tone and test copper wiring / analog dial tone
  
• Ability to terminate and test Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A cablings
  
• Ability to terminate and test Coax cabling
  
• Ability to patch and roll fiber
  
• Laptop skills (Excel, Putty/Hyper Terminal for ability to allow remote session to engineer / NOC)
  
• Basic Networking (Modem Gui's, Command Prompts, Initiate Remote sessions)
  
• Light travel
  
• Clean Driving Record

About the Role

We’re seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our innovative team focused on building cutting-edge network security and telecommunications hardware. This is a high-impact role where you’ll contribute to the design, development, and optimization of mission-critical systems used by global enterprises.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing support for deployed hardware systems, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Identify opportunities for design enhancements and implement changes to improve efficiency, scalability, and manufacturability.
• Lead investigations into hardware failures, applying analytical techniques to identify and resolve root causes.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate hardware functionality, performance, and compliance with industry standards.
• Work closely with software, firmware, and mechanical engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and product success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical/Computer Engineering or a related field, with 6 years of experience in hardware design and development, ideally in network security or telecommunications.

Required Skills

• Strong foundation in analog and digital circuit design principles.
• Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout tools such as Altium, Cadence, or OrCAD.
• Solid understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal management.
• Hands-on experience with networking and communication protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, Ethernet, VPN).
• Hands-on experiences with High-speed design validation and circuit debugging.
• Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail, with the ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences through both written and verbal channels.

Pay range and compensation package

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $58,900 to $130,000.
