General Summary of Position:

Key Role Description

Responsibilities primarily involve day-to-day support of pipeline and terminal process control systems and associated applications, including, but not limited to, distributed regulatory control systems (SCADA and LDS systems), programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and process history data systems. Responsibilities also include support for the control portion of MIPC pipeline and terminal projects and day-to-day technical support to various other departments within the organization including operations, reliability, and IT. Benefits and Compensation:

• The range for this position has been established at $78,000 to $110,000 per year and is U.S. Engineering’s good faith and reasonable estimate at the time of the posting. Under moderate supervision, the IT Support Specialist - Service Desk (ITSS-SD), provides technical solutions to faculty, staff, and students for all aspects of PC/Apple/Mobile device support and configuration within a wide variety of end user environments.

All tasks and outcomes are documented and communicated within a ticketing application. The ITSS-SD works within an ITIL, metrics driven service operation environment providing technical set-up, support, service, and creative solutions for technology users. The ITSS-SD functions as a member of the Central Action Center (Service Desk) call center, owning and sharing tasks as workload as volume dictates. Must be capable of remote support, phone and chat support, support via e-mail, multi-team collaboration, and other duties as assigned. The role of Ride Control Software Engineer Principal (Design Assurance) focuses on design, analysis, system safety, and verification across multiple projects, supporting project teams in critical engineering quality activities.

This role will report to the Executive, Ride Controls Software Engineering.

Responsibilities:

Conduct design assurance activities in standards and best practices development, partnering with ride engineering partners across Disney Experiences and the amusement ride industry.
