Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Roadway Engineer to join a growing Transportation team in North Carolina. This role is ideal for a highly experienced roadway design professional who thrives in a hands‑on technical leadership position, enjoys mentoring junior staff, and can independently deliver complex roadway projects from early design through final signed and sealed plans. The Senior Roadway Engineer will serve as a technical lead and OpenRoads Designer (ORD) subject matter expert, supporting active and upcoming transportation projects for NCDOT and local municipalities while collaborating closely with project managers, clients, and multidisciplinary teams. What you will do

  • Demonstrates proficiency in atypical systems in the plumbing industry preferred.

  • Possesses an EIT certification a plus.
