We are looking for an experienced Spanish Bilingual Litigation Paralegal to join our team. You will be responsible for providing legal support to attorneys in the preparation of legal documents, researching legal precedents, and assisting with the discovery process. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of litigation procedures and be able to work independently as well as in a team environment. We are looking for an individual who is organized, detail-oriented, and has excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Draft various pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents
- Prepare and respond to discovery requests
- Request, follow up, and obtain medical records/bills related to client treatment
- Verify and document account balances with medical providers
- Review and summarize medical records
- Assist with trial preparation, including jury instructions, trial exhibits, subpoenas, etc.
