Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the Process Engineering and Maintenance teams, including budgeting and staff direction.
Establish and maintain machine setup specifications, work instructions, and controlled mold/spec files.
Improve processability of existing parts to reduce scrap, cost, and production issues.
Collaborate with planning, design, engineering, and shop personnel to resolve tooling, material, and manufacturing challenges.
Maintain and update spec sheets, engineering standards, and documentation as needed.
Support operators through training, troubleshooting, and assisting with production issues.
Travel to customer sites to address and resolve quality concerns.
Define and ensure execution of preventative maintenance strategies and critical spare‑parts inventory.
Work with the machine shop on new tooling, fixture fabrication, and mold revisions.
Review engineering blueprints and production data to improve tool performance and ensure final part quality, including the authority to stop production for nonconforming output.
Qualifications
Engineering degree - mechanical engineering degree preferred
Basic knowledge of maintenance software systems (imaintenance or something similar)
Strong understanding of budgeting and budget control spending
At least 6 years of leadership experience
Paint background strongly preferred (powder coat or e-coat)

Key Responsibilities

What you have:
Bachelor’s degree; OR 4+ years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
6+ years of progressive customer service, operational, military or leadership experience to include a minimum of 2 years of claims handling experience required with demonstrated proficiency.
2+ years of direct team lead, supervisory or management experience.
Experience using and interpreting data to make decisions.
Demonstrated leadership, initiative, customer service and/or claims handling skills.
Acquisition and maintenance of applicable insurance adjuster license within 6 months time in role.

4+ years Property Claims experience (preferably dwelling and content)
Experience handling water loss claims
Property Claims leadership experience
Experience leading a team of 6 or more
Experience leading within a call center environment
Demonstrated ability to perform critical review of property estimates
Demonstrated ability to analyze contractual policy provisions in a multi-state environment to provide appropriate guidance and settlement authority
Demonstrated proficiency with the Xactimate estimating platform
Completed Bachelor’s or higher degree or Insurance or Process Engineering Designations (CPCU, SCLA, PCLA)
Demonstrated ability to effectively lead through strategic & organizational changes delivering intended results and outcomes
Demonstrated ability to inspire/motivate, develop employees, coach effectively and promote talent
US military experience through military service or a military spouse/domestic partner
Compensation range: The salary range for this position is: $103,450 - $186,210.

What you will need:
- License: N/A
- Education: High school Diploma or GED required
- Certification: Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) or Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) through Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (previously known as IAHCMM) upon hire.
- Required Experience: Two (2) years? experience in healthcare sterile processing (or surgical/procedural area)
- Preferred: Two (2) years? experience as a lead or experience in staff education
- Skills: Proficiency in Outlook Required
What you will do:
- Assist in running the department when supervisor is unavailable.
- Ability to inform management items and supplies needed to order, and assist in locating any needed instrumentation and to adjust work flow as needed to keep up with OR demand.
- Oversee the departmental needs on a daily basis.
- Provide hospital and affiliated facilities with sterile processed materials and equipment
- Execute established procedures for decontamination assembly, packaging sterilization and surgical case cart set up practices by ensuring quality product for patient care
- Follow established procedures to ensure decontamination completion
- Place sterile items in appropriate areas for distribution, ensuring the items are accurately labeled by department
