Job Overview

Our client, a leader in the aviation industry, is seeking a highly organized Learning Event Coordinator to support the Global Learning Strategy team. This role focuses on coordinating logistics and operations for in-person leadership development and training programs.

The Learning Project Coordinator will ensure training sessions run smoothly by managing scheduling, participant communications, travel logistics, and on-site coordination for training events. Programs typically host 20–25 participants and are held several times per month at the North Houston training facility.

This is a hybrid position requiring two days per week onsite and occasional coordination with regional hubs. Experience supporting corporate training programs, events, or operational teams is preferred. Airline or aviation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics for in-person training programs, including scheduling sessions, managing calendars, and confirming participant attendance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for training participants, ensuring they receive schedules, program details, and required materials.
• Coordinate travel and accommodation logistics for participants, including flights, hotel reservations, and transportation arrangements.
• Support on-site training events by preparing meeting rooms, organizing materials, and ensuring sessions run smoothly.
• Coordinate catering and meal arrangements for training sessions.
• Maintain accurate participant rosters and program records.
• Prepare and organize training materials, including printing, copying, and assembling participant packets.
• Track and manage training supplies and inventory.
• Assist the learning team with presentation preparation and administrative support for training programs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience supporting training programs, corporate events, program coordination, or administrative operations.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple schedules and logistics simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate across participants, internal teams, and vendors.
• Experience coordinating meetings, events, or training sessions is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supporting corporate training programs or leadership development initiatives is a plus.

We have a 3+ mos need for a detail‑oriented Temporary Analyst - Maintenance Program and Work Order Management teams. This is an on-site role and does not have the ability for a remote work situation.

This role will create standardized (“canned”) maintenance tasks derived from Maintenance Planning Document (MPD). This position involves interpreting MPD task data from Excel or PDF sources, analyzing Aircraft Maintenance Manual details (including effectivity, notes, and ICA (Instructions for Continued Airworthiness) references—as commonly found in MPD files and determining the appropriate parts, materials, and labor requirements for squawks or maintenance task creation.

The goal is to build consistent, accurate, and reusable squawk text that can be deployed across work orders to improve efficiency, accuracy, and standardization.

Key Responsibilities

1. MPD Data Interpretation

• Review and analyze MPD task data from Excel‑based or PDF‑based MPDs, including interval, task title, effectivity, and associated notes.
• Extract the required task information and convert it into a clear, concise canned squawk.
• Ensure consistency of squawk formatting across all tasks.

2. Aircraft Maintenance Manual Research & Parts Identification

• Investigate Aircraft Maintenance Manual entries, which commonly contain source notes, effectivity details, part Number applicability, ICA references, and material/part clues.
• Determine which parts are required for the task (filters, bolts, hardware, components, etc.).
• Document required parts, quantities, and any options or condition‑based replacements.
• Cross‑reference part applicability with aircraft model, serial number ranges, and effectivity.

3. Canned Squawk Creation – convert what is in MPT to excel

• Convert MPD tasks into standardized canned squawks that include:
• Task description
• Inspection or replacement instructions
• Required parts/materials
• Interval (FH/Months)
• Notes and special considerations
• Ensure squawks are clear, aviation‑appropriate, and compatible with Maintenance/ERP systems (Corridor).

4. Documentation & Data Quality

• Log all created squawks into the designated template or system.
• Maintain accuracy by validating MPD references and consistency with OEM documentation.
• Flag discrepancies or missing information to the supervisor for review.

5. Cross‑Functional Support

• Collaborate with Maintenance Planning, Engineering, Stores, and Work Order teams as needed.
• Provide clarification or corrective updates on previously created squawks.

Qualifications

Required

• Associates degree or equivalent work experience
• Experience reading technical aviation documents (AMM Aircraft Maintenance Manual, MPD Maintenance Planning document, IPC Illustrated parts catalog, CMM Component Maintenance Manual , etc.).
• Ability to interpret maintenance task data and map to parts/material requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Proficiency with Excel and PDF reference documents.
• Excellent written communication skills.

Preferred

• Previous experience with Corridor, CAMP, CMP, or similar MRO systems.
• Aviation maintenance or technical publications background.

The compensation for this position typically falls between $24.00 - $30.00 per hour. This position is eligible for overtime. • To maintain a constant relationship with the local Airport Authorities and participation in local committees, assuring the correct performance of airport activities, in close collaboration with the Station Manager and guaranteeing the necessary flow of information to headquarters.
• To send daily operational reports to the Station Manager and to the business line in headquarters.

Education and Professional Background:

• Legal US Resident
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience within the travel industry, ideally within Aviation.
• Extensive knowledge of the local aviation environment is a must.
• Systematic and logical approach to problem solving and a capability of working around problems.
• Good creative and lateral thinking skills. A strong team player, capable of seeing and understanding the bigger picture.

• You will work closely with operations, quality, facilities, and supply chain teams to deliver equipment installations, process improvements, and infrastructure upgrades that are safe, compliant, and production ready.
• This role also supports repair and overhaul engineering responsibilities that are inherently tied to manufacturing engineering, including development of master manufacturing plans, onboarding of new programs, and direct shop-floor support within a regulated aerospace environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute large CAPEX projects within a landing gear MRO environment, including equipment selection, layout development, installation, commissioning, and production handover
• Translate business and operational requirements into executable manufacturing solutions that improve safety, quality, cost, delivery, and capacity
• Partner with operations, facilities, EH&S, quality, and supply chain to ensure successful project execution and compliance with regulatory and internal requirements
• Develop, author, and maintain master manufacturing plans (master routers), work instructions, and Bills of Material that define standardized, repeatable repair and overhaul execution
• Support onboarding of new programs into the facility, including creation of master production plans and preparation for introduction into the shop
• Provide hands-on engineering support to the shop floor, including troubleshooting manufacturing processes, tooling, equipment, and test systems involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or control related issues
• Conduct equipment acceptance, process validation, and capability assessments to ensure processes and assets are production-ready
• Review engineering specifications, repair orders, Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, and related technical data to ensure compliance with approved repair and overhaul methods
• Interpret engineering drawings and facilitate creation of new drawings or correction of errors identified during repair and overhaul operations
• Review drawings and technical documentation prepared by other engineering staff
• Liaise with Quality Control, Materials, Production, and other departments to resolve shopfloor technical issues efficiently
• Ensure engineering documentation, drawings, routers, and records remain current and that engineering-related production issues and resolutions are properly documented
• Provide and support training for shop-floor personnel related to new equipment, tooling, processes, and program introductions
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for manufacturing, equipment, or process issues
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on throughput, yield, turnaround time, safety, and operational stability

Requirements:

• Develop supplemental documentation required to support shop-floor execution, including procedures, job aids, and supporting technical documentation
• Identify, specify, quote, and procure required tooling and equipment in support of CAPEX projects and new program introductions, including PO issuance, installation, safety reviews, and operator training
• Develop and implement manufacturing processes, tooling concepts, and workflows that support landing gear repair and overhaul operations
• Experience executing capital projects, including equipment installation, commissioning, and production handover
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting manufacturing or test equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or control systems
• Aerospace or aviation manufacturing experience, particularly within a landing gear or MRO environment

Job Purpose

The Additive Manufacturing (AM) Process Lead will drive the development, qualification, and continuous improvement of metal LPBF (Laser Powder Bed Fusion) processes for aero‑engine components.

This position requires strong hands‑on expertise with LPBF equipment, including machine operation, calibration, tuning, and maintenance, as well as experience in parameter development and process optimization.

The Process Lead will support supplier readiness, evaluate/develop Machine/Process Qualification activities, and establish production‑ready AM and post‑processing workflows.

The role requires close coordination with Design, Materials and Quality to meet the milestones for component development, qualification, certification, and future production.

Key Accountabilities

[AM Process Development & Execution]

• Lead LPBF build setup, execution, and troubleshooting; maintain detailed and traceable build records.

• Develop and refine LPBF parameter sets using DOE and data‑driven approaches.

• Oversee powder management, powder characterization, and lot traceability.

• Collaborate with regulatory and industrial groups when required (e.g., FAA/EASA, ASTM, SAE, America Makes).
