Southern Arizona Legal Aid, Inc. is hiring an attorney to work in its White Mountain Apache Legal Services Office (located in Fort Apache, Arizona). The program serves nine counties in Arizona and eleven Indian Reservations. The Fort Apache Office serves Apache, Navajo and Gila counties, located in Northeastern Arizona in the scenic White Mountain area. The community is a somewhat isolated recreational area, with outstanding skiing, fishing and hunting. The present staff consists of Managing Attorney, Staff Attorney, Tribal Court Advocate and support staff. Some travel to other communities in Navajo, Gila and Apache counties may be required

* Applicants must be a member of the Arizona Bar, eligible for admission to the Arizona Bar, or pass the next exam; applicants licensed 2 years in another jurisdiction may practice by special rule. Criminal background check required.

- ADL Tasks

- Laundry: wash, dry, fold, and put away clothes, towels and bedding
- Assist Consumer with the administering and taking of daily medications.
- Meal Prep / Cooking: Consult with Consumer about types of food he enjoys and plan weekly menus. Work together to create a grocery list within his budget, and encourage healthy choices.
- Shopping: Establish a system for replacing household supplies from local stores in a timely manner.

Warehouse Returns: You will be operating material handling equipment to move product within the warehouse. You will be matching item quantities and descriptions to packing slips on returned items, checking in returned product and tagging it appropriate. You will be operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks to move product within the warehouse while adhering to safety procedures. Not all work will be completed on Material handling equipment.
Shipping: Youβll be responsible for organizing, stacking, and shrink-wrapping customer orders on pallets. Youβll be loading trucks manually; lifting, lowering, and carrying product in a fast-paced environment and stacking empty pallets while maintaining a safe and clean workspace as you go.
