What You’ll Do

  • Grow sales across new equipment and service offerings

As a Industrial Maintenance Electrician you will be a vital part of our manufacturing team installing, maintaining electrical equipment. Operate, install electrical systems and preform functional of building and plant equipment.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Operate, install electrical systems and perform functional testing of building and plant equipment (e.g., machines, motor controls, room re-models)

  • Determine if system should be shut down or work must be performed with power source on

  • Lock out, tag out, try out equipment and related systems

  • Perform primary and secondary testing on electrical breakers during routine maintenance; replace, update and retro fit breakers

  • Perform routine tests on high voltage switches and relays, using hi-potential test equipment (Hipot), replace switch or relay

  • Troubleshoot electric motors using appropriate test equipment

  • Monitor current, voltage, amperage, frequency and watts hours at sub-stations using online computing system

  • Check and service electrical systems, using infrared analysis sheets to locate hot spots in service panel

  • Service and maintain electrical systems on various types of overhead cranes

  • Operate, install electrical systems and perform functional test of building and plant equipment (e.g., machines, motor controls, room re-models)

  • Install and perform routine maintenance on all types of lighting fixtures (e.g., fluorescent, halide, standard); clean and check sockets, and replace ballast and bulbs

  • Run high voltage electrical cable from sub-station to unit station; cut and splice cable, test cable for resistance

  • Install, replace and repair fiber optic cable for computers and computing systems

  • Bend conduit and install junction boxes; pull wire of various gauge and color through conduit using a fish tape; install and connect switches and outlets

  • Check work after completion or after each operation; ensure job is per drawing and WAC, NEC codes; evaluate job for work to be performed (e.g., wire size, electrical load, conduit)

  • Operate mechanical lifts of various types (e.g. tiger lift, spider lift, snorkel lift), to access work areas

  • Install wire, crimp, terminate, and solder using tools (e.g., crimpers, wire cutters, soldering gun) in plant electrical systems

  • Establish/verify voltage, amperage, frequency and watts using test equipment (e.g., circuit trackers, sonic circuit chasers, volt, amperage meters)

Physical Demands and Potential Hazards:

  • Perform physical tasks that include lifting weights ranging from 10-15 lbs to 15-35 lbs.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a β€œUS Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. Β§ 120.15 is required. β€œUS Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee

The Specimen Processing Technician follows regulatory, accreditation, safety and hospital standards, policies and procedures, and participates in quality assurance and quality improvement activities.

Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions Creates Registration encounters, releases orders out of HIS when indicated; receives samples in LIS; prints barcode labels and affixes labels to specimens.

Completes order entry functions or paperwork as required.

Ensures proper container type, centrifugation, specimen sterility, and transport conditions for specimens.

Ensures positive patient identification, correct specimen collection and handling/transport; performs specimen processing duties and prioritizes based on urgency Ensures the specimen and orders received are appropriate for requested testing.

Prioritizes specimens based on clinical urgency.

- Performs specimen processing duties including but not limited to: aliquoting urine and body fluid samples, supply storage, Kanban supply, inventory monitoring and storing patient samples appropriately.

In Microbiology, uses sterile techniques to handle, manipulate, and inoculate specimens on to culture media, including but not limited to determination of selecting the correct culture media based on specimen, order and protocols, sterile aliquoting, sonification and tissue grinding.

Assists in pathology specimen preservation, by adding formalin to specimens, and/or paging residents or providers as needed.

Fields inquiries and communicates information in written and verbal formats.

Answers the phone and provides customer service to internal and external customers following established standards.

Consults Specimen Processing Coordinator, supervisor or lab leadership when appropriate.

Assists other staff with processing questions or automation line issues.

Assists with training new hires, students, or medical students, if applicable.

Disposes of bio-hazardous materials, chemical waste, sharps and other potentially hazardous materials according to policy and strictly adheres to safety and infection control procedures.

Uses and wears PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as necessary to perform job duties safely and minimize risk.

Other duties as assigned.

Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.

ChristianaCare - Wilmington Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for its Acute Care Rehabilitation Center.

ChristianaCare Rehabilitation Services at Wilmington Hospital helps our patients reclaim their independence and activity level, putting them back on the road to their best health. We are an accredited Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility with specialty accreditation in stroke, brain injury, and limb loss by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).

Our team of specially trained healthcare professionals at the ChristianaCare Center for Rehabilitation at Wilmington Hospital (CRWH) is dedicated to rehabilitation to help patients regain or improve the skills needed for daily life. Patients receive nursing care, the medical staff manages medical problems, and rehabilitation is provided in our state-of-the-art center. We are internationally recognized and accredited as aΒ Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation FacilityΒ with specialty accreditations in stroke, brain injury, and amputation by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation FacilitiesΒ (CARF).

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Delaware RN License or Compact Nursing License required.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required. Applicants must commit to obtaining a BSN within three years of the hire date.Β Β 
  • Minimum of one year of RN experience required.Β Β 
  • Preferred Experience: 1-2 years in Rehabilitation, Med/Surg, or Stepdown.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Hourly Pay Range: $41.28 - $66.05This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The Cardiovascular Stepdown unit will give RN's experience with the following patient types: cardiac cath, angioplasty, cardiac dysrhythmia, myocardial infarction, and vascular surgical patients including femoral-popliteal bypass, abdominal aortic aneurysm, carotid enterectomy, and carotid stents.

As an oncology nurse, you will implement a relationship-based care model that focuses on building strong connections with patients, families, and colleagues. This approach is guided by our core values of love and excellence.

Unit 6E is a 38-bed inpatient unit specializing in hematology and oncology. It provides both scheduled and emergency care and procedures 24/7. This unit is designed to accommodate patients who require inpatient care for their diagnoses or for managing symptoms related to their treatments.

The services provided on 6E include various treatments such as cancer diagnoses, chemotherapy administration, and medical management of conditions like febrile neutropenia, uncontrolled pain, and nausea/vomiting. The patient population in this unit consists of both adult and geriatric patients, with conditions classified as either stable or serious. Patients are received, transferred, or admitted from a variety of sources, including their homes, the emergency department, physicians' offices, and other units within the hospital.
