We are seeking a Foster Care Case Management Specialist to join our team.
Starting Salary: $52,000 Annually
Bonus: $2,000 ($1,000 Sign-on Bonus will be paid on your first paycheck and the $1,000 Retention Bonus will be paid after 12 months of service.)
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Manage and provide services to children and families who have been referred under the Foster Care Case Management Contract utilizing Signs of Safety (SOS)
- Engage in family finding to identify and take advantage of relative/kinship placement options for children in care
- Utilize a broad range of recruitment strategies to recruit families and prospective homes to meet the needs of children requiring permanency
- Continually analyzes and assesses each family and child situation on an individual basis, using advanced knowledge in child welfare to develop recommendations regarding supportive services and resources each child and family needs, such as educational plans, medical, psychiatric and psychological assessments, therapy, and independent living skills, etc.

PCU Registered Nurse (RN) – Key Responsibilities
As a Progressive Care Unit Nurse, you will:
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced PCU setting
- Monitor patients with acute and chronic conditions requiring step-down or intermediate care
- Administer IV medications, cardiac drips, and prescribed treatments
- Operate and interpret telemetry and advanced cardiac monitoring equipment
- Recognize and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, medications, and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records documentation
This PCU RN role is ideal for nurses experienced in telemetry, step-down units, or high-acuity medical-surgical environments.
Requirements
- Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
- 1 + years post-graduate experience in Progressive Care Unit, Step-Down, or Telemetry nursing preferred

Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Graduate of a nursing program
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
BLS certification required.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
For PRN positions: One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting is required
Bachelor's degree preferred
Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum)
