The Strategic Sourcing Manager-Indirect will be responsible for designing, managing and implementing sourcing strategies for the enterprise. - Minimum seven to ten years’ experience in strategic sourcing/purchasing (preferably in the pharmaceutical industry), including the use of sourcing technologies (i.e. Coupa, Corcentric, etc) to develop and conduct RFIs and RFPs, with exposure and responsibility for various functional areas (supplier management, spend analytics, contracting, negotiating, bid management).

Summary: The Global Commodity Sourcing Specialist is responsible for protecting revenue and executing gross margin improvements. Serena and Lily is seeking a VP of Sourcing to join our team in Sausalito, California. This role will report to the CFO / COO and will have direct reports to mentor and guide. We are looking for an individual with experience as the head of a department; and who has strong knowledge in sourcing, production, and product development. You will lead and continue to advance S&L’s sourcing strategy. You will manage information across functions, leading and working closely with all cross-functional partners. Each day can range from small tasks to building large strategies for this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee sourcing teams and strategies across multiple categories or business units.
- Develop and execute long-term sourcing strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Manage supplier partnerships and drive cost savings, efficiency, and innovation.
- Determine company-wide sourcing policies while partnering with senior leadership
- Works directly with Agents/Vendors in all product categories. Vendors range from overseas to domestic importers.

- Optimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency.
- Manage Calendar & timelines w/ cross-functional teams and vendors/agents to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Manage compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including sustainability and ethical sourcing guidelines
- Evaluate current supplier portfolio and introduce new suppliers to balance the sourcing matrix with strategic goals for growth.
- Close working partnership with Design, Merchandising, Planning and DC.
- Leadership – pro-actively mentor, train, guide, and support the sourcing team.
- Implement operation efficiencies and adapt quickly to changes.

COMPENSATION:
- $250k-$300k per year is the anticipated starting base pay for this role. This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this role. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: experience, education, and skills.

The Vice President of Global Sourcing initiates, develops and guides the comprehensive sourcing strategy for Family Dollar. Working closely with the Merchandising Teams, the VP provides the leadership and vision for all import product lines and categories across all lines of business. As a Director Design, Development, and Sourcing Fish & Hunt Hard Goods & Gear, you play a pivotal role in leading the design and development of our most innovative and technologically advanced fly fishing and hunting hard goods — work grounded by deep, first-hand angling experience, field knowledge, and real-world testing, not just concept or CAD. You are responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch, focusing on innovation, quality, and market trends within the fishing tackle and hunting industry. This role combines technical expertise in materials and engineering with creative direction and team management. You will be a key leader on the Product Team, comprised of 2 direct reports as well as the lead designer of all reels, waders, and wading boots. Position Interfaces:
This position reports to our Vice President of Product Design, Development, Sourcing, & Import Compliance and interfacing with multiple areas including merchandising, inventory management, marketing, finance, sourcing, wholesale, retail operations, manufacturing and ownership of the company. Responsibilities:
- Lead a customer-obsessed Fish and Hunt Hard Goods Product Design & Development/Sourcing Team
- Lead a culture of partnership, communication, and collaboration across the organization
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a strategic plan for new product design and development that aligns to deliver the Assortment Strategy, thus ensuring alignment with market and customer needs as well as company and financials goals, specifically target retail, AUC and IMU across all Fish/Hunt Hard Goods products.
- Design Inspiration – Lead the Hardgoods / Innovation Design Kickoff, the Design “blank canvas” to push the Orvis brand forward and ensure that we are leaders in innovation.

- Deliver the Line: Ensure that the products agreed upon through the Design Kickoff and Assortment Strategy deliver on time and are discussed at DDR 1, 2 and Final Line Adoption. Aim for 90% of products aligned upon launch on time.
