Responsibilities

Core Platform Engineering & Modernization

• Lead Oracle Xstore development, enhancements, and lifecycle management—focusing on stability, maintainability, and scalability.
• Drive major version upgrades, patching cycles, dependency modernization, and technical debt reduction with structured rollout plans.
• Expand and optimize configuration management: store-specific overrides, tenancy handling, global/local variance, and dynamic configuration models.
• Architect and implement core services, frameworks, and extension points that other teams can build on.

Compliance, Reliability & Global Expansion

• Implement country‑specific compliance requirements—fiscalization, tax rules, receipt specifications, privacy mandates, and transaction standards.
• Work cross-functionally to ensure adherence to local regulations, certification requirements, and retail compliance frameworks.
• Improve platform-level resiliency, startup health, and recovery processes

Observability & Operational Excellence

• Enhance and standardize observability across the entire POS landscape—logs, metrics, traces, health checks, dashboards, and alerting.
• Champion operational efficiency by designing better troubleshooting tools, diagnostics, self-healing mechanisms, and automated monitoring.
• Lead incident response and postmortems, reducing MTTR and improving fleet-wide reliability.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship for engineers across POS teams.
• Drive architectural discussions, propose foundational improvements, and establish engineering best practices.
• Guide cross-team initiatives and represent the POS Foundation in design reviews, rollout planning, and vendor interactions.

Minimum Requirements:

• 7+ years of engineering experience with a strong emphasis on Oracle Xstore (POS and Back Office), including customizations and environment management.
• Proven experience performing Xstore upgrades, patching, platform migrations, and architectural modernization.
• Deep understanding of retail store POS operations, system flows, configuration frameworks, and store-level constraints.
• Strong proficiency in Java (Xstore), RESTful services, integrations, and patterns for large-scale distributed retail systems.
• Experience building or evolving observability: logging pipelines, telemetry standards, dashboards, alerting, and health checks.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large technical initiatives with multiple stakeholders.

Our client, a Trend Driven Junior's apparel manufacturing company, is seeking an Assistant Designer to support their rapidly growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research on current fashion trends, fabric innovations, and market demands to inform design decisions and ensure relevance.
• Create detailed sketches and CAD drawings of design ideas, including technical specifications for garment construction.
• Collaborate with the team in choosing appropriate fabrics, colors, and materials that align with design concepts and brand standards.
• Help in the creation and review of prototypes and samples, ensuring they meet design specifications and quality standards.
• Assist in fitting sessions, provide feedback on garment fit, and collaborate with pattern makers to make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain organized design files, including sketches, technical specifications, and material samples.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and manufacturing, to ensure seamless design execution.
• Provide administrative support as needed, including preparing presentation materials and assisting with design-related meetings.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in fashion design
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field a plus
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and CAD programs. Knowledge of pattern making, garment construction, fabric properties, PLM is a plus.
• Strong ability to generate fresh and innovative design ideas that align with brand aesthetics and market trends.
• Meticulous attention to detail in sketching, fabric selection, and garment construction.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

As we scale into 2026, we are looking to add an experienced Business Development professional to help drive outbound growth.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys building pipeline, testing outbound approaches, and working closely with marketing and customer success in a fast-moving startup environment.

The Role

As a Senior Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating high-quality opportunities through outbound activity and early-stage engagement with prospective clients. This role does not include line management but does offer the opportunity to shape how outbound business development operates as the US team continues to grow.

You will be based primarily in our East Rutherford office, working closely with the wider team, with flexibility to work from home 1-2 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, and social selling.
• Book and develop high-quality sales appointments for the wider commercial team.
• Own outbound messaging and activity across defined sectors or regions.
• Test, refine, and improve outreach strategies to increase conversion and pipeline quality.
• Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, verticals, and trends.
• Maintain accurate records of activity, leads, and pipeline using HubSpot CRM.
• Work closely with marketing and customer success to ensure smooth handover and strong client experience.
• Represent Best.Energy USA professionally and confidently with prospective clients.

What We’re Looking For

Compensation

Base salary: $55,000-$65,000 depending on experience

Commission: Performance-based, with realistic opportunity to earn an additional $30,000-$40,000 per year

Working pattern: Hybrid, 3-4 days in the East Rutherford office, 1-2 days remote
