We control the entire honey supply chain from hive to shelf. Our production facility in Sanderson, Florida processes raw honey from our 30,000+ colonies and partner apiaries into retail-ready products for major big box stores and small local retailers. We're expanding through acquisitions and need production excellence to support our growth.
What You'll Do
Production Management
- Oversee daily honey processing, filtering, and bottling operations
- Manage production scheduling to meet retail customer demands and delivery windows
- Ensure product quality standards and consistency across all SKUs
- Optimize production line efficiency and minimize downtime
- Implement and maintain food safety protocols (HACCP, SQF, FDA compliance)
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs
Supply Chain & Inventory
- Forecast and order raw honey requirements from company apiaries and external suppliers
- Manage bulk honey inventory (drums, totes) and optimize storage utilization
- Coordinate raw material purchasing (bottles, caps, labels, packaging materials)
- Maintain optimal inventory levels - minimize carrying costs while preventing stockouts
- Negotiate with suppliers for packaging materials and production supplies
- Implement inventory tracking systems and maintain accurate records
Team Leadership
- Lead production team of 3-5 employees across multiple shifts
- Hire, train, and develop production staff
- Create and maintain production SOPs and training materials
- Manage scheduling to align workforce with production demands
- Foster safety-first culture and maintain OSHA compliance
- Conduct performance reviews and manage disciplinary actions
Continuous Improvement
- Analyze production metrics and identify efficiency opportunities
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste

What We're Looking For
Required Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years production management experience in food manufacturing (required)
- Proven experience managing 10+ production employees
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality systems (HACCP & SQF)
- Experience with inventory management and supply chain optimization (Quickbooks & Fishbowl)
- Proficiency in production planning and scheduling software

Position Summary:
We are seeking a Human Factors Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring that medical devices are safe, intuitive, and effective for intended users by applying human factors and usability engineering principles throughout the product lifecycle. This role plans and conducts formative and summative usability studies, develops use-related risk analyses, and ensures compliance with FDA, IEC 62366, and other applicable regulatory standards. The Human Factors Engineer collaborates closely with design, clinical, regulatory, and quality teams to identify, mitigate, and validate use-related hazards, ultimately supporting safe and effective patient and clinician experiences.
This role will work to develop and follow industry best practices defining and documenting usability formative studies, qualitative assessments, summative usability studies and preparing the Human Factors engineering usability file for regulatory submission. This role will report to the Vice President of Product Design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive discovery research with mix method data collection techniques.
- Implement usability rating system and testing protocol.
- Work with marketing and clinical teams to create user personas, use specifications, and user groups based on target markets and regulatory testing requirements.
- Develop protocols for formative usability studies.
- Collaborate with recruiters, IRB, and consultants for validation studies.
- Moderate and conduct online and in person testing of usability studies, as well as focus groups, and interviews.
- Maintain detailed video documentation to follow and support note taking.
- Present findings to designers, engineers, and management team.
- Facilitate and document task analysis, use related risk analysis, and user interface specifications.
- Maintain traceability of critical statements and risk mitigations from observation to Instructions for Use and device training.
- Maintain awareness of and share industry trends and platform best practices in human factors, usability and digital experience on iOS, Android, and web.

Required Qualifications:
- The candidate must be familiar with Design Controls (21 CFR Part 820 / ISO 13485) and have experience maintaining the Design History File (DHF).

We are seeking a Director, Physical Automation to join the team and help the organization with identifying and reducing manual operations in manufacturing processes - from unloading of raw materials till finished products delivered to customers.
The role is based in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Anderson, SC.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute roadmap for the physical automation rollout in FQ Tissue (North Star – No human interactions with machines for operations, maintenance or product handling)
- Create business case and prioritize rollout of physical automaton projects
- Lead cross functional teams across the organization (operations, maintenance, engineering, business unit leads, IT hardware, SAP, project management, Product development ) to execute physical automation projects
- Joint development of automation solutions along with suppliers wherever applicable for the benefit of FQ
- Create a consortium of suppliers, research labs, universities etc who can partner with FQ to the vision of no human interaction operations
- Insure the organization is prepared and knowledgeable for the ongoing introduction of new automation solutions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related degree.
- Experience leading TPM or Continuous improvement methodologies (IWS, Lean etc.)
- Experience implementation of automation projects to reduce waste and variability in industrial environments - Examples : Self guided vehicles, Trailer loadings, ASRS, robots (ex- humanoid or dogs or others), Sensors/Cameras, Cobots, manual operations automation, AI solutions in machines
- Experience working with suppliers of technology or machinery or automation solutions
- Tissue/paper industry experience preferred

This is an in-person role for someone who enjoys the studio environment and has hands-on experience working alongside an active artist.

Job Summary and Mission

The FSQA Supervisor will be responsible for leading and supervising day to day food safety, quality, and regulatory programs in compliance with SQF along with raw materials, ingredients management and reviewing supporting documents as they pertain to SQF. This role will be responsible for product release, facilitate transitions between shifts, and seamless handoffs. This position plays a vital role in assisting the Quality Team for maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Drives and continuously monitors compliance with all quality and food safety programs through regular adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), performance of sanitation audits, food safety checks (HACCP), SQF, ON Hold program and product quality checks conducted according to organization policies. Perform prevention activities to proactively identify risks and take necessary actions to prevent food safety, quality and regulatory issues across the location.
- Assist with verifying and maintaining records for HACCP, SQF and FSMA including, but not limited to Pre-ops, Daily and Monthly GMP inspections, label verification, verification of CCP records, performing weight check on WIP (work in progress) and finished products, glass and brittle inspections, complaint investigation.
- Responsible for scheduling and conducting Environmental monitoring swabbing program, finished products testing, water testing, coordinate with lab, and QA team for any additional testing required.
- Works closely with USDA inspectors and mitigates any potential deviations in food safety and process.
- Ensure received, manufactured, and packaged products meet quality and food safety specifications.
- Conducts and assists in the training and presentation of programs to maintain ongoing training of all plant employees in policies and programs such as GPM's, HACCP, SSOP's and Allergen Policy.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities and recommending changes within own area of responsibility.
- Prepare a variety of routine and special reports that document testing activities, test results, and operational issues involving product quality and safety such as swab tests, finished product tests, and HACCP audits.
- Inspection of incoming raw materials and ingredients as applicable.
