Role description:
Arcadis is currently seeking a Roadway Project Design Engineer to join our team in Baton Rouge or Metairie, Louisiana. This position is an exciting opportunity for you to join our local Roadway team with support from one of the best qualified consulting firms in the country. In this role, you will assist in the technical design and plan production for projects of varying sizes. You will also assist in the day-to-day management of small to mid-size projects for our clients in Louisiana as well as throughout the nation.
Role accountabilities:
- Assist the development and design of infrastructure projects for roadways, including intersections, collector streets, urban arterials, rural and urban expressways, interstates and interstate interchanges
- Perform different roles on multi-disciplined projects including planning, technical design of minor project, production lead, task leader and assisting Project Manager and lead engineers
- Assist in developing project scopes and budgets,
- Interface with and maintenance of client needs for the Project Manager,
- Mentor and development of junior staff and design/drafters,
- Ensure project compliance with all Arcadis practices including quality and safety standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ yearsβ work experience, with 4 of these yearsβ work experience on LADOTD projects.
- Bachelorβs degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineers License
Key Skill/Attributes:
- Planning and/or Engineering experience with infrastructure, which may include environmental document preparation, cost estimates, technical reports, construction plans and project displays.
- Proficiency with CAD particularly Microstation and OpenRoads.
- Familiarity with LADOTD design standards and policies.
- Interpersonal and client facing requirements will require someone with excellent, clear and concise, oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to contribute information to meetings, assist with effective client presentations and prepare written reports and meeting minutes.
- Must have the ability to work on multiple unique assignments simultaneously.
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills and be a self-motivated, team-oriented and flexible individual who possess the initiative and ability to tackle new projects, challenges, and concepts.
- Prefer experience in a client facing role, either as a team or individual, making presentations and managing client expectations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4+ yearsβ project management experience on LADOTD projects
- Active participation in regional and/or national professional associations.
- Louisiana PE
- Prefer experience in a client facing role, either as a team or individual, making presentations and managing client expectations

In this role, you will support our US Staff Augmentation Business, with a primary focus on serving clients located on the East Coast. As part of our growth strategy, Arcadis aims to strengthen our current presence in this region and expand operations across the United States.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be primarily responsible for recruiting engineering professional services personnel for staff augmentation assignments at client sites.
Role accountabilities:
- The Talent Acquisition Specialist will drive full lifecycle recruiting to meet the talent needs of the business and exercise judgment for engagement, screening, placement and management of candidates at our Client sites using broadly defined practices and policies under minimal supervision. While this position will recruit for a variety of positions, there is a particular emphasis on technical recruiting for the Life Sciences industries. Examples of disciplines to be engaged will include but are not limited to: Process Engineers, Project Engineers, Project Schedulers, Project Management, CQV Engineers, I&C Engineers, Automation Engineers, Project Controls Engineers, etc.
- Use the most efficient, cost-effective candidate sources to fill positions, including, but not limited to: searches and posting using various career posting websites such as LinkedIn, Monster, Arcadis Careers Website, Arcadis database, referrals from existing Arcadis Operations and Staff Augmentation personnel, participation in job fairs and industry conferences/users groups, direct sourcing and other network referrals.
- Develop & manage the Arcadis Database of candidates and Clients to ensure candidate and Client information is readily accessible and up-to-date.
- Actively manage existing candidate and or Client relationships through personal communication and regular reporting.
- Identify, communicate and use cost-effective alternative sources to identify candidates and Clients where possible.

Role description:
Arcadis is seeking a Process Designer to join our Semiconductor Sector. In this role, you will report to the Department Manager, work with other Designers, Engineers and Project Managers generating production design documents on a variety of projects related, but not limited to, advanced technology, life science, and specialty chemical facilities.
Proven success working for A/E or EPCM consultancy companies in a similar role, supporting projects related to cleanrooms, laboratories, semiconductor fab, data center, solar manufacturing, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industries is highly desirable.
Role accountabilities:
- Prepare construction documents for mechanical and process piping systems such as process exhaust, PCW, UPW, specialty gas/chem, and specialty drains.
- Strong familiarity with the process of developing constructable design packages based on client and tool vendor provided information and templates is required.
- Experience surveying and documenting existing conditions and identification of utility points of connection (POC).
- Experience in developing and following space management/routing guidelines and rack details.
- Produce engineering drawings in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
- Perform construction administration and field work as required. Prior field and installation experience a plus.
- Participate in team coordination activities with other disciplines, sub-contractors, and Clients.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience:
- Associates degree preferred in CADD or Engineering related discipline with a minimum 3-5 yearsβ experience of process piping systems such as process exhaust, processed chilled water (PCW), ultrapure water (UPW), specialty gas/chem, and specialty drains. Industrial manufacturing facilities project environments for semiconductor, nanotechnology, biotechnology, pharmaceutical and/or laboratory projects highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Revit and AutoCAD, including developing 3D models within BIM environments
- Hands on experience creating floor plans, layouts, piping diagrams, and rack elevations.
- Knowledge of specialized materials of construction required for high purity and corrosive media system construction.
- Knowledge of Instrumentation, Controls, and Life Safety monitoring system requirements in hazardous production material environments. Knowledge of cleanroom protocols and relevant procedures.
- Ability to multitask on multiple projects and work independently. Takes ownership of assignments, can work both independently and as part of the team. Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
- Ability to provide legal US work authorization documents required. Will consider US domestic travelers and relocation.
