What You Will Be Doing

• Operate and monitor 3D printers (e.g., SLS, FDM, SLA) to ensure successful builds.
• Perform post-processing tasks such as cleaning, sanding, deburring, and assembling printed parts.
• Inspect and measure finished parts to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Load and manage materials for printers, ensuring readiness for production.
• Keep the lab organized and clean by adhering to 5S and safety protocols.
• Perform logistics activities, preparing parts for shipping, and collecting incoming shipments to the lab.

Required Skills & Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work with tools and complete hands-on tasks.
• A strong interest in learning and working with 3D printing technologies.
• Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office); familiarity with 3D printing software is a plus.

Flexo Printing Press / Slitter Operator / Rewinder

Location: Marshall County, Indiana (Onsite)

Hours: Second Shift; Mon to Thurs 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM (10-hour shifts - off Fri to Sun)

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Slitter, Rewinder, and Flexo Printing Press Operators to join our production team in Marshall County, Indiana. This is a hands-on manufacturing role ideal for candidates with experience operating slitter/rewinder equipment and working with materials such as film, paper, foil, or labels.

The selected candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining slitter, rewinder, or flexographic press equipment to ensure production goals and quality standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate slitter, rewinder, or flexo press machines according to job specifications
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
• Perform job changeovers with minimal downtime
• Inspect finished rolls for accuracy, proper tension, and defects
• Accurately record production and quality data
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
• Load, unload, label, and prepare materials for shipping
• Complete approximately two weeks of training on first shift prior to transitioning to assigned shift

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating slitter, rewinder, or flexographic press equipment preferred
• Experience working with film, paper, foil, or label materials
• Ability to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE, including steel-toe boots, hair nets, and beard nets

Schedule & Compensation

• Bi-weekly payroll via direct deposit
• Second Shift: Mon to Thurs 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM (10-hour shifts - off Fri to Sun)

Summary:

This role is responsible for maintaining and supporting Series 3 and Series 4 digital presses to ensure maximum equipment uptime and consistent print quality in a high-volume production environment. The technician will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and collaborate with support teams and Field Service Engineers for advanced diagnostics.
