The Role


JoVE is seeking a highly motivated and results driven Account Executive to join our team and drive sales efforts in the K-12 vertical. This role involves conducting outreach to school administrators, teachers, and influencers to present and drive adoption of JoVE products.


Responsibilities


  • Formulate and execute a comprehensive sales plan within a 3,000+ assigned account territory, develop a rich pipeline, and close new business
  • Deliver on 95% yearly and quarterly forecast accuracy to the Director of Sales
  • Attain 100% of monthly and quarterly KPIs
  • Deliver effective online, and on-site product presentations to decision makers & influencers
  • Engage potential district decision makers in meaningful discussions regarding their needs and goals in order to cultivate a convincing or persuasive solution presentation
  • Adaptively present solutions in a consultative approach and advance new business in a complex K12 business environment
  • Consistently report on new business opportunities to leadership and strategize on efforts to progress towards a close


Requirements


  • A Bachelor's degree
  • 1-3 years of experience in SaaS sales required, preferably in the education technology industry
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage an audience
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in using CRM software such as Salesforce and Hubspot
  • Willingness to travel as needed

Job Summary


The team is responsible for new business revenue generation monthly and works to achieve these on an individual and team level. Account Executives are equipped with extensive training in Salesforce, sales process management, business development and more.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities


The primary responsibility of an Account Executive is to build a book of business through:


  • Prospecting and establishing referral partner relationships with professionals from the real estate and mortgage industry.
  • Work with clients to understand their insurance needs, analyze options with a large carrier portfolio, and provide a custom solution to mitigate household risk.


Compensation Summary


The first year’s earnings potential ranges from $53,000 - $90,000, varying based on performance. Our compensation package slightly varies by agency but offers uncapped new business commissions and renewal commissions year-over-year. Renewal commissions provide passive earnings and can exponentially increase your annualized income. Additionally, top performers can qualify for an annual President’s Club trip.

In this role, the Order Mgmt. CSA (Customer Service Analyst) is accountable for effectively managing the entire order lifecycle, ensuring timely and effective order entry, validation, processing and tracking to ensure on time and in full delivery of customer orders always maintaining a good relationship with the customer. Purchase orders are essentially received via EDI, Email / FAX etc. The list of activities extends with Order entry/adjustments, collaboration with sales, S&OP, shipping facilities, carrier, coordinating with customer’s receiving team to ensure timely and in full delivery of goods.


Responsibilities


· Checking various sources of PO inflow (EDI queue, Fax / email inbox & USPS) periodically

· Entering orders in the business ERP within given TAT

· Proactively manage product allocation on the orders.

· Ensuring delivery note on sales orders gets created in a timely fashion.

· Coordinating with shipping facilities to get the product shipped to customers.

· Coordinating with carrier team to obtain periodic status of the load (pickup / in transit / delivery)

· Coordinating with demand control team to obtain availability dates of short / unavailable items on customer’s order.

· Coordinating with customers to obtain substitutes (replacement items) for unavailable items and share availability dates.

· Support customers with pool date coordination, rush shipment arrangements, and problem resolution.

· Order track and trace when shipped out of the shipping facility and share real time updates with the customer.

· Communicating with customers about various process updates such as (Order Qty or Date changes, different updates on availability, delivery, etc).

· Daily maintenance in SAP which would include reviewing error reports with the order management tool: ZORD

· Analyzing order trend of customers and raise flag if variation experienced.

· Work as a team to process any ad hoc request promptly

· Deliver quality customer service by researching and responding to all internal & external stakeholders’ inquiries quickly, effectively and professionally.

· Ability to analyze and resolve problems before escalating to the next level.


Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications


· Good understanding of upstream and downstream OTC processes

· Good communication skills (written & spoken)

· Strong analytical mindset, problem solving and organization skills.

· Proficiency with system applications, especially MS Office (outlook, excel, word, power point etc.)

· Experience in customer service and or supply chain and order management.

· Good written and spoken communication skills.

· Possess ability to handle multiple tasks at a given time.

· Demonstrate ability to collaborate and partner with internal and external stakeholders.

· Shift Timings: 8 AM to 5PM and working on QE close weekends


Preferred Qualifications/ Skills


· Resources from Order management domain and worked on SAP ERP-

· Bachelor’s Degree (business, logistics or finance is preferred.

· Good understanding of upstream and downstream processes

· Good communication skills (written & spoken)

· Strong analytical mindset, problem solving and organization skills.

· Good Working knowledge of tools like SAP / S4 HANA, Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau, Blue Yonder, Salesforce and Ariba

The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is [$49,000 to $54,000]. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity
