UNC Caldwell is the choice for health care in Caldwell County. The Emergency Department sees approximately 30,000 visits a year. Caldwell Physicians and UNC Health Medical Group provide the majority of primary care and select specialty care to our market from thirteen separate medical park locations and 137 bed hospital. Caldwell is seeking a BE/BC Pediatrician for a position in a traditional outpatient model with a team of experienced partners.
A variety of things to do: outdoor recreation, art, music, cycling, water sports, hiking and more
Caldwell Community College & Technical Institute in Hudson, NC; One hour-and-ten-minute travel time each to: Charlotte Douglas International Airport; and only 20 minutes to the North Carolina High Country and the mountain seasonal resort community of Blowing Rock.
Clinic volume - 4 days a week, average of 20 patients a day. Mix of newborns, children and adolescents. Well checks and acute visits, including mental health. On-site dietician. Phlebotomist with lab with POCT tests and CBC machine, X-ray available in the building most days.

Day or night shift; rotating 12-hour shifts, resulting in 36 hours one week, 48 hours the next week; every other weekend. Work is required on most holidays.
