Description

The Sr Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for the technical development, oversight and improvement of manufacturing processes within the area of responsibility. This individual will lead process optimization, technical problem-solving, and cross-functional manufacturing initiatives. This role is accountable for achieving senior-level competence Plans and presents engineering program and product design reviews for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Develops and requests design and specification change releases. Assesses and communicates impact of engineering initiatives to functional groups. The ideal candidate demonstrates advanced technical depth, measurable impact on production performance, and the ability to mentor mid-level and entry-level engineers while partnering with cross-functional stakeholders. This role is classified as Exempt for FLSA purposes and reports to the Engineering Manager.



Pay Range: $110,00.00 to $137,000.00 per year. Final compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.



Essential Responsibilities




  • Develop, release, and maintain detailed technical work instructions for the manufacture and repair of aerospace metallic structures and assemblies, ensuring full compliance with customer(s) engineering definition and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with CNC Programming group to develop and implement manufacturing plan for complex metallic machined components/assemblies.
  • Provide advanced technical support to Quality and Operations teams to achieve site-level Safety, Cost, Quality, and Delivery (SCQD) objectives; act as a primary escalation point for complex manufacturing issues.
  • Partner with Purchasing and Sales during the quoting process to define manufacturing approach, assess technical risk, establish labor standards, and ensure cost competitiveness.
  • Establish and validate operational standard hours using time studies and process analysis; drive accuracy in routing and capacity planning assumptions.
  • Review engineering drawings, specifications, and model-based definitions to ensure manufacturability; translate design requirements into controlled shop-floor documentation.
  • Train and mentor operators and junior engineers on manufacturing methods, process controls, and quality standards; elevate overall technical capability of the team.
  • Lead productivity and cost-reduction initiatives through Lean principles, waste elimination, and process optimization; quantify and report measurable performance improvements.
  • Develop, validate, and industrialize manufacturing processes for new product introduction (NPI), ensuring processes meet defined capability, repeatability, and quality targets prior to production release.
  • Evaluate nonconforming components and determine repair feasibility; develop and validate repair schemes in coordination with Engineering and Quality functions

Position Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or relevant technical discipline, or HS Diploma/GED w/equivalent composite/aerospace manufacturing/repair experience. 5+ years of technical experience with composites and/or aerospace components production or repair.

Desired Characteristics

  • Demonstrated experience creating, structuring, and maintaining complex multi-level Bills of Material (BOMs) for aerospace assemblies, ensuring configuration control and production readiness.
  • Proven experience in the developing and implementing machining strategies of large-scale metallic aerospace structures, including fixturing for both Milling and Turning.
  • Hands-on experience machining large metallic aerospace components, including process planning, tooling strategy, and dimensional validation.
  • Strong proficiency in engineering drawing interpretation, including advanced Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) application and tolerance analysis.

As a Sales Strategy & Operations (SS&O) team, our mission is to power sustainable revenue growth for Pinterest with datadriven strategic insights and decision making, tight management against them and highimpact revenue management. What You'll Do:


Reporting to the Senior Director of Sales Strategy & Operations for Agency & Programmatic, and in close partnership with the VP, GM Programmatic Ads Sales, you will develop and bring to life datadriven strategies to accelerate growth in this critical business vertical. In this role, you will:




  • Own development of the sales gotomarket strategy for Programmatic Sales - including customer segmentation, ideal customer profiles, bookofbusiness design, coverage models, sales priorities, and annual planning for Programmatic sellers.




  • Lead the analytics and forecasting engine for Programmatic Sales by designing and maintaining revenue forecasts, pipeline and coverage models, performance scorecards, and forwardlooking views that help leadership make fast, datadriven decisions.




  • Build and manage core reporting and dashboards (in partnership with Data, Finance and BizOps) that surface clear, actionable views of programmatic performance across regions, channels, partners, and products - and continually refine these based on stakeholder needs.




  • Run recurring business review cadences (e.g., weekly performance reviews, monthly/quarterly business reviews) for Programmatic Sales - owning the narrative, analyses, materials, and followup to drive accountability and execution.




  • Translate complex data into clear stories and recommendations for Sales and executive stakeholders, including diagnosing performance drivers, identifying opportunities and risks, and proposing concrete actions for sellers, leaders, and XFN teams.

  • Partner with crossfunctional teams (Finance, Product & Engineering, Product Marketing, BizOps, Client Solutions) to define strategy and operating details for Pinterest's programmatic offering as it evolves, ensuring Sales input is grounded in data and market reality.

What We're Looking For:




  • 7+ years of professional experience in strategy & operations, analytics, or similar fields in a fastpaced, highly analytical environment (e.g., management consulting, investment banking, tech/media, or revenue/sales strategy & operations).




  • Direct experience in programmatic or digital advertising (publisher, platform, agency, ad tech, or consulting), with a solid understanding of SSPs/DSPs, deal types, and the broader programmatic ecosystem.

About the Opportunity

Our client is a respected partner to automotive dealerships and warranty administrators, delivering vehicle protection programs and sales solutions designed to drive revenue, retention, and customer satisfaction. Their product portfolio combines performance, protection, and customization, supported by training, marketing resources, and hands-on operational support.


This is an ideal role for a motivated sales professional who enjoys a mix of account management, dealership support, and new business development.


Day-to-Day Responsibilities

In this territory-based role, you will expand and maintain dealership relationships while driving new partnerships across your region.


Your week will typically include:

  • Delivering dealership training on product knowledge, sales approach, and program best practices
  • Supporting dealership operations and ensuring program success through ongoing service and communication
  • Managing existing accounts and strengthening relationships with dealership leadership and staff
  • Prospecting new dealership opportunities and actively closing business
  • Preparing proposals and responding to partner inquiries
  • Reviewing account performance data and collaborating with leadership on growth strategies
  • Supporting product launches, marketing initiatives, and merchandising placement
  • Reporting activity through CRM and participating in weekly strategy meetings


This role balances relationship management (approximately 50%) with new business development (approximately 50%).


What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years of territory sales, field sales, or account management experience
  • Comfortable with travel, including daily driving and about one overnight per week
  • Experience with cold outreach, prospecting, or hunter-style sales activity
  • Strong communication, training, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-driven professional who thrives in an autonomous, field-based role


Schedule & Location

• Remote / work from home

• Field travel throughout assigned West Coast territory
