As the Senior Package Designer, you will be responsible for designing disruptive and unique packaging to meet direction within brand, manufacturing and cost constraints. You will handle multiple projects across 1-3 brands reporting to the Senior Director, working closely with the Innovation, Packaging Development, Creative design, Project Management, New Product Development and Operations teams translating designs and problem-solving based on cost constraints and business objectives. Responsibilities:
- Develop cost-efficient packaging while maintaining technical accuracy and design aesthetics across all e.l.f. beauty brands
- Strong knowledge of beauty trends to create thumb stopping designs for packaging, pr kits, social media, swag and collaborations
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials, including plastic and glass component production
- Knowledge of printing techniques on primary and secondary cartons
- Spearhead productivity initiatives to enable continual cost reduction through optimization of the entire packaging process.
- Drive company-wide environmental initiatives through material reduction, use of post consumer recycled resin and other sustainability targets.
- Maintain harmonized packaging design principles as layed out by the Harmony team
- Created cross-functional internal partnerships in conjunction with innovation, design, marketing, NPD and operational teams.
- Drive timely development of high quality, innovative packages based on customer requirements, manufacturability, wall space, and marketing objectives.
- Oversee day-to-day management of package development and liase with Design team and China NPD team daily to follow up on sample development, modifications etc..
- Provide leadership to create an environment of teamwork, growth, and technical expertise.
- Extensive package development experience, preferably in prestige beauty and targeting GenZ and GenAlpha
- Strong and refined typography skills
- Technical knowledge in beauty packaging a plus
- Extensive experience working with design, packaging developers, engineers and vendors
- Ability to think quickly and offer manufacturing solutions in real time
- Understanding of prestige beauty manufacturing and materials; plastics and glass molding etc. (see above)
- Highly organized; Communicate information clearly and effectively with team members in China.
- Ability to meet stringent deadlines, quickly managing changing priorities

This role also supports regulatory across product development, claims review, registration, packaging compliance, EPR and sustainability. Under direction from the Regulatory Manager/Senior Manager, this role will support regulatory review of ingredients, raw materials and formulas for cosmetics and OTC products. The Regulatory Coordinator will also support global product and site registrations. Must be highly collaborative with a high-performance team mindset and work seamlessly across business functions and external partners.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with gathering documentation to complete regulatory review of ingredients, raw materials and formulas.
- Support product registration and notification for all e.l.f. Beauty brands, interfacing with cross-functional teams. This includes creating, reviewing and submitting required documentation, tracking registration status and timelines.
- Collaborate with consultants, distributors and manufacturers to ensure all compliance requirements are met and registrations/notifications are completed according to brand timelines for global product launches.
- Assist with registration and reporting needs to support global Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) requirements.
Requirements:
- Experience in the cosmetic industry in a Regulatory Affairs role preferred
- A science background (College degree or higher) required.
- Working knowledge of Cosmetics products regulatory requirements with an emphasis on color cosmetics and skin care. Working knowledge or some experience with regulatory review of ingredients, labeling, notification/registration, product claims, or packaging requirements a bonus.
- Working knowledge of regulatory requirements for ingredients, finished products, claims, packaging, and artwork requirements.
- Highly collaborative. Works well individually and in a team environment to achieve results.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Exhibits strong communication skills, both written and orally.
- Comfortable learning and working with web-based databases and submission portals.

- Support the Associate Manager of Digital Marketplaces with daily operations across social commerce platforms
- Assist in managing product listings, including setup and support for new launches
- Track and analyze performance metrics such as GMV, ROAS, engagement, and conversion trends

- Execute end-to-end bi-weekly payroll for US (UKG) and Canada (ADP), managing all lifecycle events (new hires, terminations, rate changes) and validating timekeeping data for accuracy.
- Calculate and validate biweekly sales commissions and recoverable draws, ensuring strict adherence to variable compensation plans and accurate tax treatment for supplemental earnings.
- Issue replacement checks or reissue direct deposits in case of payroll errors or final discharge.
- Ensure proper coding of earnings, deductions (e.g. 401k(k)), and tax exemptions.
- Prepare and reconcile post-payroll financial reports, including General Ledger (GL) files, 401(k) funding, and union remittances, resolving any variances with the Finance & Accounting teams.
- Track and reconcile paid time off accumulations and ensure accurate payroll payments.
- Assist in the preparation of month-end payroll accruals and variances for Accounting review.
- Serve as the primary support for payroll SOX audits, including gathering evidence, pulling reports, and ensuring documentation aligns with control requirements.
- Calculate and validate biweekly sales commissions and recoverable draws, ensuring strict adherence to variable compensation plans and accurate tax treatment for supplemental earnings.
- Calculate average hourly rates for commission draw employees on a bi-annual basis.
- Oversee quarterly and year-end tax procedures (including W-2/T4s), calculating taxable fringe benefits and ensuring strict adherence to federal, state, and local wage laws.
HRIS & Systems:
- Prepare monthly and quarterly data sets for HR dashboards, including preliminary analysis of overtime trends and turnover rates.
- Onboard and offboard employees into our local and global HR systems (UKG and Oracle)
- Ensure the seamless integration of local payroll with the global HRIS system.
- Manage payroll data interfaces with third-party vendors for insurance and 401(k).
- Act as the main point of contact with third-party payroll providers.

Qualifications:
- 4-5 years of payroll experience; retail industry knowledge is a plus.
