The Role – Health & Safety Manager

The Health & Safety Manager will take ownership of the company’s HSE strategy across Ireland and Europe, supporting multiple renewable energy construction projects including wind farms, solar developments, battery storage, grid infrastructure and data centres.

Working closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership team, you will lead the development and implementation of best in class health and safety systems while ensuring full compliance with Irish and EU legislation. This is a senior leadership role focused on driving a strong safety culture across multiple sites, improving reporting frameworks and ensuring that all projects operate to the highest safety standards.

You will work closely with project managers, engineers and site teams across Europe, providing guidance on risk management, audits, incident investigations and regulatory compliance while supporting the continued expansion of the company’s renewable energy portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and implement the company’s HSE strategy across renewable energy projects in Ireland and Europe
  • Ensure compliance with Irish and European health and safety legislation including Construction Regulations, PUWER, LOLER and associated directives
  • Manage and maintain HSE management systems including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 across all project locations
  • Carry out internal and external HSE audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively
  • Provide guidance to project teams on RAMS, risk assessments, permit to work systems and safe work planning
  • Drive a positive safety culture across project teams and subcontractors with a focus on behavioural safety
  • Develop and maintain HSE performance reporting and KPIs across multiple European projects
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Deliver training and mentoring for site managers, engineers and supervisors on key safety topics
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities, certification bodies and project stakeholders during inspections and audits
  • Support environmental and sustainability initiatives including waste management and environmental risk controls
  • Produce monthly and quarterly safety performance reports for senior management and project stakeholders

About You
  • Chartered IOSH member CMIOSH or equivalent qualification such as NEBOSH Diploma or MSc in Occupational Health and Safety
  • 8 to 10 years experience in health and safety within construction, utilities, power generation or renewable energy projects
  • Strong background working on wind farms, solar farms, battery storage or grid infrastructure projects is highly desirable
  • Experience managing health and safety across multiple sites and jurisdictions within the EU
  • Proven experience implementing and managing ISO 45001 safety management systems
  • Excellent knowledge of Irish and European health and safety legislation and compliance requirements
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence teams at all levels
  • Experience leading audits, incident investigations and safety improvement programmes
  • Comfortable working across multiple sites with regular travel across Ireland and Europe
  • Practical, solutions focused approach to risk management and safety leadership

Real Estate Agreements

  • Negotiate and draft real estate agreements, including land leases, easements, and site control agreements, to support solar project development

Commercial Agreements

Risk Mitigation

External Counsel Management

The Upward Bound Project ACE (Achieving Academic and Career Excellence) program is designed to provide opportunities for fundamental support to participants in their preparation for college entrance. The goal is to increase the rate at which participants complete high school education and graduate from institutions of post-secondary (college, technical) education. Our goal is to recruit participants into the Upward Bound program, retain them, graduate them, and get them ready for post-secondary education admittance and graduation.

The Opportunity:

The Academic Support Coordinator II is a highly studentfacing position within UCF's TRIO Upward Bound Project ACE. It supports lowincome, firstgeneration high school students at Apopka High School by providing academic advising, coordinating collegereadiness programming, facilitating workshops, and maintaining strong relationships with school partners and families. Responsibilities:


  • Delivers services to program participants both virtually and in-person at AHS, ensuring comprehensive support in alignment with program goals. Collaborates with the Manager to meet internal objectives and improve service delivery.


  • Tracks students' academic progress, including advising, course selection, and graduation requirements, while developing and monitoring Individual Academic Plans (IAPs). Reviews report cards and academic performance to create tailored academic success plans for students.


  • Designs and delivers a college readiness curriculum, including workshops on college access, financial literacy, career exploration, and family engagement. Researches and stays updated on higher education trends to enhance evidence-based decision-making for student success.


  • Maintains accurate student records, updates participation data in the Blumen database, and documents student involvement in project services. Analyzes data and generates monthly reports to inform the Manager of program progress and areas for improvement.


  • Implements recruitment, orientation, interviews, and intake processes to enroll the required number of students as mandated by the Department of Education. Establishes and maintains relationships with target schools, community stakeholders, and families to support outreach efforts.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).

These are hands-on roles supporting estimating for utility-scale solar, substation, and battery energy storage (BESS) projects. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and proposals for renewable energy and infrastructure projects ranging from $1M–$30M.
  • Conduct detailed takeoffs and analyze drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure all scope items are accounted for.
  • Develop bid packages, perform value engineering, and contribute to project risk assessments.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and field teams to align scope, schedule, and cost expectations.
  • Review subcontractor and supplier quotes and integrate into final pricing.
  • Support process improvements and estimating standards as the department continues to grow.


Qualifications and Must-Haves

  • 3+ years of experience in construction estimating (renewable energy, utilities, electrical, industrial).
  • Strong understanding of takeoffs, cost breakdowns, and estimating principles.
  • Proficiency with or ability to quickly learn Bluebeam, Accubid, and Primavera (P6).
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, and bid documents.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a high attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil or Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred.

  • Support Business Development and Engineering once job is awarded in Procurement, for Value Engineering and Construction planning
  • Maintain project budgets, prepare construction schedules, oversee quality control and client communications and expectations
  • Support risk management activities for contract reviews and project deliverables
  • Execute Turn-Key Installation across multiple renewable technologies from start to finish
  • Manage field operations along with subcontractors and equipment deliveries

Qualifications
Education/Experience

Compensation

Position Summary

Virginia Transformer Corp, a leading manufacturer of power transformers and electrical infrastructure solutions, is seeking a Pricing Manager to lead pricing strategy, quotation governance, and margin optimization across the organization.

This role will work closely with sales, engineering, finance, supply chain, and operations to ensure competitive and profitable pricing for transformer products and services. The Pricing Manager will play a key role in supporting the company’s growth by developing data-driven pricing strategies, improving quote accuracy, and enhancing commercial decision-making across utility, renewable energy, industrial, and EPC markets.


Key Responsibilities

Pricing Strategy & Governance

  • Develop and implement pricing strategies that support revenue growth, margin optimization, and market competitiveness.
  • Establish and maintain pricing policies, guidelines, and approval structures.

Quote & Proposal Support
