General Description
Performs advanced professional, technical and analytical work with administrative responsibility in automation systems implementation and development.
Works independently, under limited supervision, reporting major activities through periodic meetings.
Provides design, procurement, implementation, and administration of the network infrastructure - routers, switches, and plans; provides procurement, implementation, and administration of firewalls; provides administration of the Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone system; and manages network related projects. Design and deploy multi-vendor LAN/WAN architectures.
Analyzes, diagnoses, and rectifies issues related to server and/or desktop/laptop protocol and communication problems as they are reported on an emergency or non-emergency basis; including issues related to missing drives and group policy scripts.
Completes ad-hoc projects based on end user and Information Technology (IT) analyst needs, including troubleshooting and updating and maintaining file systems.
Performs change control tasks, including implementing and updating web applications as needed by application analysts; launches and implements any new technologies approved by management and special task force; studies, investigates, reviews, and recommends implementation of evolving and emerging technologies.
Performs analysis of systems designs related to networking, wifi and security; develops applications, and documents work flow and processes; reviews peer-reviewed and professional material in digital and paper formats to keep up with the latest trends in both the library and technology community. Proactive analysis using SNMP, NetFlow, and Wireshark. Develop analysis via Python and Ansible for configuration.
Provides help desk support; responds to calls, emails, incident tickets, and/or inquiries from computer/network users and customers to resolve/troubleshoot microcomputer and minicomputer hardware or software issues; provides tech support in the field and after hours support. Integrate hybrid networking with AWS VPC and Azure VNet.
Provides systems administration for servers, patch installation and upgrade maintenance; installs, configures, and reimages desktop/laptop hardware and software; performs data backup and restores; and manages computer security and virus removal.
Ensures maintenance of NIST/HIPAA standards and network hardening.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Requires a two (2) year degree from an accredited trade, technical or vocational school, college or university with major coursework in computer science or closely related field.
(One year of relevant experience may be substituted for each year of required education.)
Requires four (4) years of experience in supporting users through analyzing, diagnosing and resolving computer systems issues related to desktop/laptop protocols and communication problems or closely related experience.

As a Forensic Analyst, you are responsible for managing and conducting investigations related to data collections, forensic data, file, email analysis and data recovery within a wide variety of dynamic environments. Responsibilities

- Provide full Computer Forensic analysis of data using established tools and techniques. Use network theory and data mining concepts to reveal relationships, patterns trends and statistics, link analysis, time line analysis and data visualization techniques. Meet expected timelines for customer output and reports, based upon findings per customer objectives. Follow accepted forensic protocol to capture media images and conduct analysis needed to provide output and reports to meet customer objectives within the expected timelines.
- Provide effective professional communication with customers through all forms of communication including direct contact, voice, e-mail, fax, etc, while demonstrating the ability to effectively communicate in a fluent, comprehensive and professional manner
- Provide a high level of customer service and technical support as needed or required. Assist case managers with customer conference calls and questions, and help answer customer questions about reports and accessing output data that has been provided to them

Job Summary
- Supports the implementation of the City's communications program, including development of print publications, web content, social media, cable TV programming, and news media.
- Maintains, recommends improvements, and implements changes to the City Constituent Customer Service Portal. Coordinates functions with software vendor and trains City staff on the effective use of the software.
- Responds to customer inquiries regarding City and City programs: screens and prioritizes inquiries, ensuring that questions are responded to by distributing requests to the appropriate City staff or by providing service directly.
- Assists in Council communications including preparation of staff memos, Council presentations and public speaking points.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Patching / SCCM Administrator will provide Tier III IT operations support across the Office of Information Management (OIM) and SC mission systems, with a focus on endpoint management, patching, and compliance. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM), Intune, and related patching infrastructure, ensuring timely updates, secure baselines, and compliance with DOE directives and federal IT standards. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Windows desktop/server patching, automation, and reporting, while supporting hybrid environments and evolving enterprise service delivery models.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and deploy Windows OS and application patches across servers and endpoints in accordance with OIM policy.

Title: Senior Linux Systems Engineer

- This position is onsite four days per week in Ft. Washington, MD. Once every two-to-three weeks, there is one day of work onsite in Warrenton, VA. The ability to work remotely once per week is acceptable.
Overview & Responsibilities
- As a Senior Linux Systems Engineer, you will serve as the technical authority for a Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environment supporting the Cameo (Dassault Systmes/No Magic) suite. This role requires more than standard administration; we are looking for a specialist with CLI-level mastery capable of deep-tier kernel tuning and performance optimization. You will ensure the integrity of server resources, manage a complex Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), and provide high-level technical support to a large community of system engineers and partners.
You will be responsible for
- Advanced Systems Engineering & Kernel Optimization
- Perform kernel-level tuning (sysctl), I/O scheduling, and memory management to optimize RHEL for high-demand MBSE workloads.
- Execute all administrative tasks, file management, and system troubleshooting via the command-line interface (CLI) in a headless or cloud environment.
- Proactively monitor system health and performance to ensure 99.9% availability of mission-critical server resources and hardware.
- Cameo & VDI Administration
- Act as the primary administrator for Cameo Systems Modeler and Teamwork Cloud, managing user groups, permissions, and server-side configurations.
- Configure and troubleshoot user profiles in a virtual desktop environment using XRDP.
- Create, maintain, and deploy virtual desktop images, ensuring optimized disk storage and session management for multiple concurrent users.
- Security, Automation & Compliance
- Work closely with ISSO/ISSE teams to ensure systems meet ATO/accreditation standards through aggressive scanning, patching, and STIG compliance.
- Utilize Ansible, Puppet, or scripting (Bash/Python) to automate routine maintenance and configuration management.
- Author and maintain technical standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and "RunBooks" to ensure continuity of operations.
- Agile Integration & Collaboration
- Maintain a detailed work backlog in JIRA, participating in Agile ceremonies and communicating technical status to PMs and Government leads.
- Explain complex technical considerations to external partners and provide high-tier technical support to the user community.
Required Skills & Experience
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- IAT Level II compliant (e.g., Security+, CySA+, GSEC, SSCP, CCNA Security, CND, GICSP).
- Expert-level knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
- Expert-level proficiency in the Linux Command Line Interface (CLI). Must be able to manage the full OS lifecycle without a Graphical User Interface (GUI).
- Demonstrated experience in Linux kernel tuning and performance optimization for enterprise-scale applications.
- Proven experience with XRDP, VDI session management, and image deployment.
- Proficiency in Cameo / No Magic software.
- Experience using JIRA.
- Proficiency in Bash or Python scripting and Ansible configuration management.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, SSH, and secure networking protocols.
Preferred Skills & Experience
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Engineer (RHCE).
Experience with cloud-based Linux deployments.
Background in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) workflows.
