Essential Job Summary::

Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic performs preventative maintenance, diagnosis, and repairs on DOT over-the-road and refuse vehicles. To perform this job successfully, an individual must demonstrate safe and proper application of hand, pneumatic and electric tools; work unsupervised in repair tasks such as removal, installation and repair of components/machines; Perform tasks from verbal/written instructions and communicate effectively with supervisor and fellow employees, Maintain current forklift operator training certification, work overtime as required by workload and operational needs.

Essential Job Functions: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.:
  • Performs repairs and PMs with limited or no supervision in accordance with Interstate Waste Service’s Maintenance and Safety Programs.
  • Diagnosis, repairs and verification of repairs on DOT over-the-road and refuse vehicles to include electrical and hydraulic systems, powertrain to include brake, transmission, engine and HVAC systems.
  • Utilize shop and onboard telematics systems for asset operational conditions and interpret downloaded data for recommended repairs and operational improvement.
  • Operate company service vehicle to perform service calls for equipment failures may occur on site, on the road or other offsite locations.
  • Properly utilize company vehicle in accordance with Interstate Waste Service’s Maintenance and Safety Programs.
  • Show proficiency in utilizing company vehicle to support shop and field repairs on site and off site as needed.
  • Utilizes fleet maintenance software to document parts usage, applicable labor hours and detailed orientated notes on the scope of repairs completed and recommended repairs.
Requirements and Qualifications::
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Successfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background check, which will include previous employment check, criminal history and motor vehicle record review.
  • Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair powertrain, hydraulic, electronic, air and HVAC systems.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience repairing heavy duty trucks or 2 years heavy duty truck experience and associated trade school accreditation.
  • Ability to read and comprehend service and technical information
  • Must be computer literate, and have the ability to use computerized diagnostics to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions

Salary Transparency:

Enterprise offers a comprehensive total rewards package for you and your family. The pay range for this position is $85,000-$106,000. The salary range represents the low and high end of what may be paid for this position. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range, and compensation decisions may be influenced by a variety of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

We are currently seeking applicants for an Executive Chef position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • The executive chef will plan, organize, develop, inspire and direct the overall operation of Dining Services to assure that delicious quality nutritional services are provided.
  • It is the responsibility of this director to ensure that the department is maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner.
  • Determine how food should be presented and create decorative food displays. Standardize methods in which work will be accomplished.
  • Assist in planning regular and special diet menus as prescribed by the attending physician. Assure that food is available for preparation.
  • Perform administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, evaluations, studies, etc., and submit as required.
  • Coordinate dining services with other departments as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain a good working rapport with all community staff to assure that dining service can be properly maintained to meet the needs of the residents.
  • Ensure that department staff, residents, visitors, etc., follow established policies and procedures at all times.
  • Delegate authority, responsibility, and accountability to other responsible department staff.
  • Establish dining service production lines, etc., to assure that meals are prepared on time.

Requirements:

  • This department director has should extensive experience in providing fine dining in a variety of venues.
  • The ideal candidate will have a culinary degree from an accredited institution and 5 years of dietary/dining service experience in a supervisory capacity in a restaurant, hospital, health care/senior living facility.
  • Training/education in cost control, food management, and/or diet therapy for healthcare residents is a must.

What do Resident Care Companions and STNAs do at Danbury?

  • Resident Care Companions and STNAs enjoy interacting with residents while engaging in the activities of daily living.
  • Assist residents with daily personal care routines such as showers, bathing, personal hygiene, etc.
  • Help residents prepare for and escort them to meals, activities, social programs and appointments.
  • Assist residents with various other daily needs as necessary.

What experience or skills do you need to be a Resident Care Companion or STNA?

  • STNA certification required for STNA positions.
  • No certification required for Resident Care Companion positions.
  • Experience working in a similar capacity in a Senior Living setting is helpful, but not required.
  • A great outlook, cheerful disposition, and love of seniors are a must.
