Job Summary:

Functions under the direction of the Cath - EP Lab manager/Director. The cardiovascular technologist III assists with providing safe, age-appropriate care to the patient by performing cardiovascular cath with PCI and/or electrophysiology procedures provided by the department according to department procedures. The technologist has the knowledge and ability to obtain a quality diagnostic study properly and safely. He/she is responsible for performing a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in the utilization of the equipment for the diagnosis and/or treatment of diseases. The cardiovascular technologist III is responsible for maintaining sterile technique during procedures and assisting the Cath Lab Manager/Director in the maintenance of a safe and efficient environment dealing primarily with adults eighteen to sixty-five, and geriatric patients over the age of sixty-five. Has a minimum of 3 years of experience performing invasive cardiovascular procedures. The cardiovascular technologist III participates in the cath or EP call rotation. The ability and willingness to proficiently precept/mentor new employees as requested by manager.

Recommend necessary action to assure contractor’s quality control program is provided in accordance with the contract requirements and that three phases of quality control are being utilized.
- Based on technical knowledge and coordination with designer and construction contractor, provide technical solutions to unforeseen problems during construction.
- Assist with preparation of sketches and drawings in support of negotiations and issuance of project modifications.
- Provide technical support for claims/disputes/terminations processing, negotiation, and resolution.

Qualifications:

- Development of geotechnical engineering technical memorandums, evaluations, and reports presenting design and construction recommendations for foundations, floor slabs, site development, site retaining walls and below-grade walls, groundwater control, excavation support, and pavement.
- Perform dam safety inspections, including review of existing conditions of earthen embankments and concrete gravity structures, to verify conformance with NYSDEC dam safety regulations and guidelines.
- Perform site visits to provide technical expertise required to address issues which may be encountered during construction. Additional site visits may be required to address emergency conditions which develop.

Position Overview

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer – Civil to lead site development and utility infrastructure projects from concept to completion. This role combines technical expertise with project management, offering opportunities to mentor junior engineers, coordinate multidisciplinary efforts, and ensure successful project outcomes.

What You’ll Do

- Manage all aspects of civil engineering projects—planning, design, permitting, and construction.

- Lead collaboration with clients, consultants, and contractors to meet project goals.

- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.

- Ensure design compliance with all regulatory standards and best practices.

- Review design plans, cost estimates, and technical specifications.

- Represent LKB in client meetings and professional association events.

What You’ll Bring

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (required).

- 5-10 years of civil design experience (consulting or professional services preferred)

- Proven success in managing large-scale land development and infrastructure projects.

- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

- Proficiency in Civil 3D; familiarity with HydroCAD, HEC-RAS, or SWMM preferred.

- Ability to travel up to 10% (occasionally on short notice).

As a Research Assistant (RA), you will work side-by-side with our Clinical Research Coordinators (CRCs) and Investigators. Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care & Procedures: Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy (blood draws), obtaining vital signs, ECGs, and height/weight measurements for study participants.
  • Data Integrity: Assist in collecting and entering source data into Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems with high accuracy.
  • Lab Management: Process biological specimens (centrifuging, pipetting, freezing) and prepare them for shipment according to IATA guidelines.
  • Subject Recruitment: Assist with pre-screening potential patients over the phone and reviewing medical history to see if they qualify for studies.
  • Administrative Support: Maintain study binders, organize supply inventories, and assist with scheduling patient visits.
Who We Are Looking For

We are specifically seeking individuals with a strong medical foundation who are eager to learn the regulations of research (GCP/FDA).

Required Qualifications:

  • Background: Must fall into one of the following categories:
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with phlebotomy skills.
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA).
  • Foreign Medical Graduate (FMG) looking to gain US clinical experience.
  • Clinical Skills: Proficiency in phlebotomy (blood draws) and taking vitals is highly preferred.
  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable using computers, navigating electronic medical records (EMR), and learning new software quickly.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent bedside manner, empathy for patients, and a "no task is too small" attitude.

Preferred (But Not Required - We Will Train!):

  • Previous experience in a clinical research setting.
  • IATA certification (shipping dangerous goods).
  • GCP (Good Clinical Practice) certification.

Primary Role
