Primary Purpose

Education
Must be a graduate of an accredited imaging program for any of the following primary pathways:
- Radiography
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging

Prefer a Bachelors Degree in health care field.
Experience
Must have four (4) years of progressive responsibility in Radiology operations, including knowledge of procedures, workflow within assigned Radiology area, quality monitoring, and general operational troubleshooting.
Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Certification/Registration/Licensure

- Must have American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) (M) certification as a Mammography Technologist, or registry from ARDMS with subspecialty registration in Breast Sonography (BR).

CPR Certification

Responsibilities
- Functions as a leader/expert in appropriate modality or multiple modalities. - Responsible for effective fiscal management of assigned areas in the Radiology-Clinical Support division, ensuring appropriate use of department resources. Utilizes benchmarks for staffing levels. Demonstrates ability to flex resources to changing volume and acuity requirements.
- Identifies achievable initiatives to improve work processes and improve customer (internal as well as external) satisfaction. Responsible for monitoring satisfaction results as appropriate to ensure the support of the overall goals of radiology and the mission of Parkland. Assists in meeting or exceeding annual patient satisfaction goals established by radiology leadership and Parkland.
- Monitors and ensures QC/QA compliance with all relevant laws, state and federal regulations, licensing and accreditation requirements, hospital and departmental standards for safety, infection control and equipment performance. Provides timely access to equipment, supplies, and logistical support to the Information Technology, Bio Medical, Clinical Engineering and Medical Physicists departments. Facilitates/follow-up with repairs and maintenance as needed on equipment and supplies. Troubleshoots system and equipment issues as needed.
- Provide patient care as a Technologist when appropriate; responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing basic and/or complex procedures on assigned patients to ensure that scanning needs are met. Review physician orders and applicability to the imaging protocol. Screen patients for safety and review any contraindications for exams which would prohibit or modify the exam. If modification of an imaging protocol is necessary consult with radiologist to determine appropriate sequences, parameters, etc. Document changes as appropriate in electronic health record. Ensure other resources have been scheduled accordingly. Interviews patient (two patient identifier) conducts patient screening and obtains medical history pertaining to procedures clinical criteria. Explains procedure and instructs patient on necessary requirements needed to provide diagnostic images. Answers questions/screening concerning procedures, medications, etc. for relevant exams. Assists the physician as needed in performing procedures. Ensures that images and records are properly completed with patient identification data and appropriate labeling. Utilizes technical knowledge and skills to perform procedures accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with age specific criteria. Completes exam charges and image documentation in a timely manner. Administers contrast material/medication in the correct dosage, route and observes patients for adverse reactions, within the scope of licensure. Engages in equitable distribution of departmental workloads. Coordinates continuity of patient care to the varying locations. Provides escalation and add on assistance with scheduling modality exams. Available for assistance during scheduled downtime procedures.
- Assists with the implementation of new programs related to modality (software, research, educational). Provide quotes from vendors for operational and/or capital budgets. Identifies supply needs, monitors expiration dates of all supplies and takes appropriate action.
- Participates in departmental Performance Improvement Programs, radiology user groups such as Radiology User Group (RUG), understands ICARE and its relationship to the work environment, attends department and modality meetings satisfactorily. Functions in the department as part of an interdisciplinary team and collaborates in the care and service delivery process of patient care through effective communication with other service lines. Demonstrates conscious effort to be good stewards of hospital resources to ensure Parkland financial goals are met.

Supports a team by identifying, soliciting, and arranging appropriate insurance coverage for clients by accessing binding authority and brokerage markets. Responsibilities include but not limited to underwriting new and renewal business, ensuring adherence to binding authority carrier guidelines, approving policy changes, maintaining workload, solving coverage issues, monitoring claims and managing written business up to and including the time of binding according to company guidelines and established CRC procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Manage the underwriting process ensuring adherence to carrier underwriting guidelines and CRC policies and procedures.
2. Submitting appropriate information to brokerage markets for accounts that do not fit binding authority markets
3. Make underwriting decisions and solve difficult underwriting and coverage problems for retail agencies
4. Develop, maintain and cultivate strong relationships with binding-authority and brokerage carriers
5. Solicit, market, quote, bind and confirm new and existing business.
6. Negotiate the best terms and coverages available with accessible markets while properly communicating with all producers regarding submissions and decisions for new or renewal business in a timely manner.
7. Approve and disapprove endorsement requests according to internal and carrier guidelines.
8. Monitor accounts to ensure compliance with the firm's policies and procedures.
9. Meet or exceed company file documentation standards, comply with underwriting authority level standards and pass all audits performed by markets and our Internal Review Department.
10. Maintain necessary licenses.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree or appropriate insurance designation
2. Three years of experience in underwriting or brokering E&S or specialty insurance products
3. Must be licensed in corresponding areas of insurance
4. Must be able to understand and independently manage the underwriting and brokerage process including analyze necessary components of insurance policies, determine terms and conditions, and price insurance products
5. Ability to understand the client's needs and have knowledge of the risk profiles associated
6. Recognize new trends and developments to the insurance industry and be able to incorporate into underwriting strategies
7. Possess strong knowledge of and experience in underwriting the types of accounts handled by the team on which they support
8. Ability to provide excellent customer service for retail insurance agencies
9. Team skills
10. Maintain current knowledge of the insurance industry

About the Role
Our client is a well-established, Kenner-based manufacturer. They design and build complex industrial equipment for customers across the country and around the world — and they need a skilled CAD drafter to help bring those projects to life. This is a hands-on, production-oriented role where you’ll spend most of your day in AutoCAD, turning salespeople’s ideas and customer requirements into clear, accurate equipment layouts and installation drawings. You’ll also collaborate across departments, assist with project quoting, and work directly with customers and architects once a project is sold. If you’re a CAD-focused drafter who enjoys variety, teamwork, and seeing your work become a real-world installation — this is a great fit.
What You’ll Do
- Spend the majority of your day in AutoCAD — creating 2D and 3D equipment layouts that bring sales concepts to life for customers
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to translate customer needs and site conditions into accurate, professional drawings
- Produce detailed installation drawings — locating, mechanical, and electrical — once a project reaches the sold stage
- Work hand-in-hand with other departments to ensure equipment is correctly modified for each unique project
- Coordinate with architects on installation drawings as needed
- Assist with project quoting — pricing out systems using Excel and Word templates
- Use Leica 3D scanners to capture site conditions and incorporate them into designs
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously on busy days — staying organized and detail-oriented across 3–5 active projects
- Use Salesforce, in-house applications, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) daily

What You’ll Bring
- Solid AutoCAD skills — 2D and 3D proficiency is required; this is the core of the role
- A degree or coursework in Design Drafting, Industrial Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent hands-on experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and produce accurate technical drawings
- Good communication skills — you’ll interact with customers, salespeople, architects, and internal teams
- Comfort juggling multiple projects and shifting priorities without losing accuracy or attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Salesforce experience a plus
- Leica 3D Scanner experience is a bonus but not required
- Minimal travel required — this is primarily an in-office, at-your-desk role
