About the Position
Join the skilled ANA MTDC team delivering top-tier self-paced learning to leading organizations worldwide. We are seeking an experienced eLearning Instructional Designer and Developer (IDD) to both design and develop interactive eLearning course experience. Development will be your primary responsibility, and instructional design will be your secondary responsibility. As an instructional designer, you will help identify content needs, build a pipeline of design and development projects, work with subject matter experts to develop/update/redesign instructional materials based on proven instructional design methods, and collaborate with course developers. As a course developer, you will be very skilled in technical course development and convert instructional materials into interactive/engaging courses using various course authoring software, platforms for AI-generated content and videos, visual/graphic design tools, and audio/video software.
What You Will Be Doing
Instructional Designer (approximately 30% of your time, subject to change based on business needs):
- Creating, managing, and maintaining the scope of the course design and development projects
- Identifying marketing industry learning needs and on-demand channel gaps for course development projects
- Identifying and working with subject matter experts on the on-demand course projects and keeping the course development pipeline filled on an on-going basis
- Refining supportive course design processes and templates for subject matter experts
- Following established eLearning design and development standards/guidelines, while continually enhancing them with innovative approaches

- Refining and building new supportive course development project processes and course templates
- Creating multimedia, visual/graphic design, and interactive course solutions
- Supporting audio production, producing videos, and editing audio/video for course development
- Collaborating with instructional designer on the vision for eLearning courses and providing compelling learning experiences and outcomes
- Performing quality assurance (QA) and testing of courses prior to their release
- Collaborating with LMS administrator on testing, publishing, and launching of courses on the LMS and ANA website
Both Roles:
- Building cross-functional partnerships and working with all project stakeholders internally and externally
- Continually evaluating user feedback and working to ensure all instructional materials are consistent and up-to-date and redesigning/updating course content when needed
- Maintaining well organized project documentation and folders with all content and course assets

What We Need to See From You
- Bachelor's degree along with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience designing eLearning instructional design materials with subject matter experts (approximately ten or more projects annually) and
- developing eLearning courses (including microlearning) in Storyline 360, RISE, and platforms that provide AI-generated content and course videos (e.g., Synthesia) (approximately ten or more course projects annually)
- Exceptional knowledge and working experience in the application of adult learning theories and instructional design approaches in eLearning courses
- Excellent communication (written, verbal, interpersonal) and collaboration skills – with the ability to provide thoughtful and logical feedback to subject matter experts
- Ability to write effective copy and instructional text with proven grammar and editing capabilities
- Above average proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially in PowerPoint – you should be a super user!

The Berkeley School of Education (BSE) at the University of California, seeks a qualified temporary non-tenure track, part-time Instructional Facilitator (Teacher - Special Programs or TSP) to provide support through the Berkeley Teacher Education Program for alumni engaging in teacher action research as part of our developing BTEP Alumni Network, as well as developing and facilitating other targeted support groups for BTEP alumni in their early years of teaching.

This individual will act as both a strategic advisor and hands-on contributor, partnering closely with founding faculty, curriculum leadership, and enterprise IT/Learning Experience (LX) teams to design scalable, compliant, and innovative learning solutions that support modern medical education.
Serve as the acting Educational Technology Manager for the new School of Medicine and Medical Engineering, consulting on and supporting the design of the end-to-end educational technology ecosystem in alignment with curriculum innovation and LCME accreditation requirements.

Requirements/Day to Day:
- Background in instructional design, educational technology, or learning experience design, ideally within medical education, healthcare education, or higher education.
- Lead research, evaluation, and selection of instructional technologies, supporting the core academic technology stack, including: LMS, assessment/eval, media capture/content
- Contribute to the design and implementation of AI-supported solutions for teaching, learning, and assessment, with a strong emphasis on ethnicity, regulatory, compliance
- Collaborate closely with founding faculty, curriculum leaders, and central IT/LX partners to translate complex pedagogical, clinical, and accreditation requirements into scalable, workflow-driven systems.

Our client is seeking an Instructional Designer I who will utilizing adult learning theory and neuroscience to create and build best in class digital first learning designs for various business units.
Key Accountabilities:
- Facilitate working sessions with leaders, peers, and SMEs to design, build, and stabilize learning initiatives, such as: new product development, evaluation, course maintenance, and process documentation.
- Socialize and communicate design proposals to partners through solid storytelling and alignment with business strategy – maintaining a facilitative approach, listening for both passive and active feedback and iterating based on that feedback along the way.
- Develop online or print-based learning materials adhering to ULearn internal style and brand guidelines.
- Plan and execute deliverables, such as: surveys and interviews, conceptual visuals and prototypes, storyboards and video scripts, journey maps and experience narratives, content strategy and design documents, etc.
- Apply Agile / Scrum methodology to co-create products, test, deploy, and improve in an iterative fashion.
Required Skills:
- Critical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Required technologies include Articulate Rise and Storyline, Camtasia, Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams.
- Experience with EnableNow, Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Captivate and /or other multimedia development tools is preferred.
- Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Premier skills are preferred but not required.
- Expertise in digital / content management is preferred as well as project management skills.

Department Information
The College of Computing was established in 1990 as the first such College at a public university and the second in the United States. Since that time, the college has grown into a world-class leader in research and education. - Heavy focus on state, foundation and sponsored research budgeting, accounting, purchasing, and closeout.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports for unit leadership and Project Investigators, with a strong emphasis on sponsored grant reporting, to provide accurate data for decision-making while ensuring compliance with institutional policies and regulations.
- Provide comprehensive pre-award and post-award management for a modest number of sponsored grants and other funding sources, including preparing and submitting budget amendments and subawards for sponsored grants.
- Monitor and track expenditures against budgets to identify discrepancies and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Provide support for salary distributions and redistributions in compliance with policy.
- Exercise fiscal approval authority over Workday transactions at the school level.
