Position Responsibilities:

• Set up and perform multicolor decorative silk screen printing operations according to established procedures.

• Align and adjust the silk screen to achieve proper contact and registration, applying paint using the squeegee method.

• Layout, locate, and apply lettering on various instrument panels using silk screening and related processes.

• Liaise with the Decal Area and other departments to coordinate changes, distribution of decals, and maintain perpetual inventory.

• Work from blueprints, specifications, and verbal instructions to complete assignments accurately.

• Clean silk screens and maintain tools and equipment to ensure quality printing.

• Mix and match paint to established color samples, ensuring consistency and accuracy.

• Obtain work orders and necessary materials, including inks and substrates, while adhering to safety data sheet guidelines.

• Perform hand setup for contact printing, including loading silk screens and applying ink to substrates.

• Operate the silk screen machine, managing the printing process for multiple colors and ensuring quality control.

• Check ink color using a color spectrometer and make adjustments as needed to match specifications.

• Perform rework and touch-ups on decorative interior parts using appropriate tools and techniques.

• Handle and dispose of hazardous materials in compliance with safety regulations.

• Maintain records of work performed and refile work packets in the ink room filing cabinet.

• Communicate with team leaders and supervisors regarding job progress, issues, and assistance needed.

Physical Demands and Potential Hazards:

• Perform physical tasks that include lifting weights ranging from 10-15 lbs. to 15-35 lbs.

• Engage in various movements such as reaching, handling, turning, twisting, lifting, lowering, climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and squatting.

• Work in environments that may involve contact with metals, solvents, and coolants.

Basic Qualifications :

• 1+ years of experience silk screen printing.

• Experience mixing and color matching water based inks.

• Experience handling and disposing of hazardous materials per government regulations.

• Ability to recognize colors.

• Ability to walk constantly throughout the workday; stand 6-8 hours per day; climb or work from stairs/steps up to 8 hours per day; climb ladders; bend and twist frequently up to six hours per day; squat and kneel. 

• This position requires you to wear eye, hearing, foot, hand, respirator and other personal protective equipment/safety gear at all times.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Perform ink formulation (e.g. measure ink by weight, machine mix ink, apply ink to test specimen, dry in oven).

• Experience working with overhead crane.

• Enrolled in a Boeing partnered manufacturing related high school or community and technology college academic program

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented UV Print Machine Operator to support fabrication operations in Faribault, MN. This role is critical to producing high-quality printed components using UV-curable inks on various substrates. The UV Print Machine Operator will be responsible for machine setup, material handling, print quality verification, and maintaining production standards while adhering to safety and operational procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Set up and prepare UV printing machines by loading inks, calibrating print heads, and adjusting machine settings
• Load and align substrates (metal, plastic, glass, or other materials) for accurate printing
• Operate UV print equipment to apply inks according to customer specifications
• Program automated machinery using computer-based instructions
• Inspect printed materials for color accuracy, resolution, and overall quality
• Monitor feeding, printing, and racking processes to detect malfunctions and make adjustments
• Perform routine maintenance including cleaning print heads and replacing consumables

This Maintenance Technician III position is an on-site, full-time, non-exempt position. Hours are Monday - Friday, 9:30am - 6:00pm (with some flexibility).

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician III provides preventative maintenance and repair services at the Denver establishment, following manufacturers' instructions and utilizing knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic equipment (as appropriate to position level). This position is primarily responsible for on-going maintenance, development, and upkeep of facility equipment and complex sterilization equipment.

Preferred skills include LabView maintenance and programming to interface with sterilization equipment, including sensors, actuators, and instrumentation devices.
In addition, this position is responsible for independently maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing sterilizers and other laboratory equipment, as needed.

Responsible for maintaining all the equipment in the facility, the facility itself inside and out, and miscellaneous maintenance duties as needed. Special emphasis placed on accurate record keeping for FDA GMP purposes with focus on maintaining accurate maintenance logs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Participates in training, embrace concepts of and actively practice the STOP Safety Program fundamentals to aid American Packaging Corporation's efforts to achieve a zero-accident rate.
• Retrieves all necessary set up information/specifications/guidelines and follows instructions on the job jacket.
• Completes all machine changeover/set-up processes minimizing machine downtime and meeting or exceeding set-up standard requirements. Develop set up procedure documentation as required.
• Correctly completes daily production sheets, process condition sheets, waste logs, final release forms, ink paperwork and quality inspection logs. Ensure job order information (size, construction, print position, packing instructions, adhesive structures, proper substrates being used) corresponds with the product being manufactured.
• Safely, efficiently and effectively assists with the assigned production machinery equipment monitoring quality, production and waste adhering to all customer specifications.
• Ensures immediate work area and work areas for which Machine Operator has responsibility are free of clutter and debris. Perform all cleaning/sanitation responsibilities, safely using all required cleaning solutions and protective equipment.
• Removes rolls from rewind, hangs rolls on rewind, makes up doctor blades, preps print carriages, brings correct inks and lacquers to the press, configures ink ratios, disposes of ink, solvents and lacquers, maintains ink viscosities and cuts cores.
• Ability to operate the viscosity control system.
• Ensures all required on-line quality data is properly documented.
• Monitors all quality requirements as outlined by company procedure and specification. Completes necessary sheets for quality checks.
• Actively participates in safety programs and completes required safety observations. Understands and follows plant safety rules.
• Attends and participates in all scheduled meetings (Continuous Quality Improvement, safety, special projects, departmental, etc.).
• Able to work all scheduled shifts and required overtime hours.
• Trains new employees as necessary.

This position requires a highly skilled professional capable of performing complex industrial electrical maintenance in a manufacturing environment. Candidates with journeyman-level experience or 7–10 years of industrial electrical experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

• 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM
• Pay Rate: $34.25/hr. plus $1 shift differential for 2nd shift

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify electrical hazards and safely isolate, ground, and prepare circuits and equipment for repair.
• Use required PPE to protect against arc flash and electrical shock.
• Read, interpret, and troubleshoot from blueprints and schematics, including 240V and 480V three-phase systems.
• Troubleshoot and maintain motor control centers, motor start circuits, control loops, generators, high-voltage switchgear, protective relays, and related equipment.
• Install, calibrate, and maintain electrical apparatus using engineering drawings and manuals.
• Install conduit, pull wiring, and perform proper terminations.
• Use electrical and electronic testing equipment such as multimeters, ammeters, megohm meters, high-potential testers, oscilloscopes, and digital probes.
• Install and maintain electrical distribution and control equipment including switches, relays, circuit breakers, and panels.
• Install and maintain drive systems including VFDs, eddy current drives, and DC drive systems.
• Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of PLC systems, including point-to-point wiring and equipment replacement.
• Install and calibrate pressure, temperature, flow, and level control devices.
• Observe operating systems to detect hazards and determine need for adjustments or modifications.
• Design and lay out control panels, set up complex control systems, and modify engineering drawings when required.
• Repair or replace faulty electrical equipment, including electronic controls, motors, meters, outlets, and panels.
• Document work performed and communicate issues, irregularities, and ongoing needs to the team.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment following all procedures and regulations.
• Communicate effectively to resolve electrical problems.
• Assist in training line mechanics and apprentices as needed.
• Use the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to enter and retrieve information.

About the Role

As an Offset Second Press Operator, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional print quality, ensuring client satisfaction, and maintaining a safe, efficient work environment. Working closely with the First Press Operator, you'll assist with press make-readies, equipment operation, and quality control while providing leadership and guidance to the press crew. What You'll Do

+ Follow all standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.

+ Verify job specifications, including paper size, color, ink, and other details.

+ Monitor color and registration accuracy with demonstrated proficiency.

+ Inspect printed sheets and make adjustments to correct spacing, ink distribution, and other quality issues.

+ Re-thread paper and adjust tension rollers when web breaks occur.

+ Provide training, direction, and support to junior crew members.

Required Qualifications
