The Senior Manager – Material Planning is a key role within the Planning Team, responsible for overseeing the planning of short- and long-term product requirements in support of the Master Production Schedule. This role evaluates inventory levels and demand across multiple domestic and international locations, balancing requirements and financial considerations to align with company objectives. The Senior Manager also partners closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate receipt of inventory, while effectively managing excess and obsolescent materials, and provides leadership and guidance to two direct reports.


This position is based in office from Mondays-Thursdays, and remote on Fridays.


Responsibilities:

  • Own purchasing of materials using the Material Replenishment Planning as needed for production and in accordance with supply parameters
  • Determine and maintain supply parameters such as lead times and Minimum Order Quantities to ensure efficient outputs
  • Management of component versions to ensure accurate work orders and stock usage
  • Confirm material availability to create production orders that support service objectives, inclusive of required stock transfers
  • Utilize capacity planning, economic order quantity evaluation to ensure a smoother supply chain
  • Review material shortages preventing order conversion and follow up with appropriate suppliers to expedite deliveries
  • Manage exceptions and deviations from the plan as needed by advancing or adjusting supplier orders
  • Track and maintain purchase orders to always ensure accuracy
  • Engage in efforts that support inventory reconciliation and evaluation of inventory health
  • Communicate material supply issues to Supply Planning
  • Participation in the coordination of engineering changes, product line extensions or new product launches to ensure timely transitions in material and production flow
  • Achieve in-stock and inventory goals
  • Approve supplier purchase orders in accordance with company targets and guidelines
  • Oversee movement of material within location network
  • Lead supply chain projects and initiatives that will enhance planning and inventory process and results
  • Supervise, mentor and coach direct reports (Coordinator, Planner or Manager-level)
  • Recognize opportunities and take initiative to develop or redevelop processes accordingly


Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience within material/component planning and supply chain
  • 1+ years of experience managing direct reports
  • Prior working experience within the Beauty or CPG industry required


Required Skills

  • Fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain (Plan, Source, Make, Deliver), the integration of organization, system, and process enterprise wide, and the importance of Master Data in the overall effectiveness and operation of the Supply Chain

Facilities and Business Operations is seeking to hire a Materials Handler II at the UCF Downtown campus. The Materials Handler II is responsible for supporting daily operations by receiving, processing, and delivering materials, supplies, and packages to university departments. Responsibilities:


  • Receive and unload incoming shipments.

  • Inspect incoming materials for damage or defects and record discrepancies.

  • Maintain department databases and prepare routine reports.


  • File shipping and receiving records in an organized manner.

Materials handlers must be able to label, stencil, tag, mark orders, band, bundle, wrap, over-pack, and palletize as required.
  • Outbound: Compare quantity, labeling and address with order to ensure outgoing shipments are complete and correct. Assign signature for outbound as necessary. Efficiently move products, cartons and or pallets into trailers, rail cars or containers.
  • Equipment: Maintain equipment in a neat, clean and orderly fashion. Operate equipment safely and efficiently. Comply with company standards and OSHA requirements.
  • Inventory: Keep accurate records and reports. Assist in physical inventories and cycle counts. Ensure proper stock rotation. May key inventory adjustments in computer.
  • Other Duties: Repack or re-box cases per customer instructions. Repair and consolidate damaged goods as required. Operate shrink-wrap machine. Charge forklift battery as needed; stack and or separate good from bad pallets when necessary; clean railcars, trailers, and truck docks, bays as requested.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

For more information on who we are and what we do, please visit our website at Summary: This individual is responsible for increasing the market share, sales, and gross profit of New, Used and Allied Equipment, LTM’s and other support services available from MH Equipment Company and for developing Customer relationships. A “Territory” made up of identified Accounts and/or a designated geographic area will be assigned for coverage to each TM by their Manager. Additionally, this individual is responsible for achieving agreed upon results in accordance with the determined TM Performance Expectations.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Create sales, gross profit, increase market shares and achieve the identified expectations within these areas.
  • Obtain, maintain, and optimize Customer relations through planned and regular sales visits and communications.
  • Use of (Customer Relationship Management tool). Maintain Customer information files and notes accordance with Company policy, procedures, and requirements with periodic review with management.
  • Identify target prospects and create/implement strategic action plans to develop the accounts as Customers.
  • Assist the Customer with demos, application surveys and changeover needs on products.
  • Follow-up on all Customer leads from external and internal sources.
  • Participate with product promotions from external and internal sources.
  • Manage all custom programs installed at the assigned accounts.
  • Initiate, maintain, manage and process quotations and orders in accordance with Company policy, procedures and requirements.
  • Resolve any Customer issues, problems, or complaints to satisfy the Customer.
  • Support account terms and assist in account collection if required.
  • Participate in determination of any appropriate credits and/or returns.
  • Enhance vendor relations by supporting programs and working with their representatives.
  • Attend and participate in all sales or Company meetings.
  • Participate in Company sponsored training sessions for enhancing selling skills and technical knowledge.
  • Produce periodic budgets, plans of actions, summaries and other reports or lists as required by management.
  • Communicate regularly with inside sales personnel and management.
  • Present a professional image in personal appearance, dress, and preparation.
  • Follow Company and Sales Department policies and procedures.
  • Pursue increasing knowledge of the Territory, Markets and Competitors.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.


Position Requirements:

  • Experience in industrial sales with experience in material handling sales preferred.
  • Great interpersonal skills – Displays honesty, ethics, and integrity at all times.
  • Ability to organize a selling plan and exhibit time management skills.
  • Competency in time and territory management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and dependable vehicle.
  • Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, web searches, etc.
  • Must meet physical requirements of the job.
  • Must have prompt and regular attendance.
  • Present a professional image in personal appearance, dress and preparation.


Working Conditions: Flexibility to work when Customer needs require it and may exceed a 40-hour workweek with some overnight travel and weekend work. The Branch office location is the TM’s primary office location. The MHS must have a reliable car to use for considerable travel in the territory. The position is exempt from paid overtime.

The Materials Management Coordinator oversees and optimizes supply chain and materials management operations across all hospitals, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. This role maintains the system Item Master, leads product evaluations, monitors purchasing and inventory accuracy, and collaborates with hospital Materials Management teams to standardize processes and resolve challenges. Required Skills:
