Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Raw Material Specialist to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring the quality and consistency of fabrics, colors, and materials used in our products. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in fabric and color development and a strong eye for quality.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as an individual contributor responsible for maintaining the quality of colors, fabrics, garments, and related components.
  • Support technical development, pre-production processes, and cataloguing of fabrics and colors through production stages.
  • Conduct regular visits to company retail stores to assess fabric quality and color consistency under store lighting conditions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality standards are met.

To provide manual handling of goods, products, objects and materials (vehicle loading/unloading, sorting, cleaning, etc.) in accordance with all safety rules. To carry out simple operations (physical inventory, packing, etc.) using handling equipment and machinery (lift table, hand truck, cages, hoists, straps, etc.) not requiring a driver's permit (pallet truck, etc.).

To carry out some or all of the following activities:

  • Load and unload goods and products
  • Load packages and move them to the shipping, storage or production area
  • Store products or goods by validity date and storage conditions
  • Conduct an inventory
  • Identify the characteristics of goods
  • Operate machinery requiring a permit (forklift truck, trailer tugs, gantry cranes, etc.)
  • Check the operating and safety status of the production facilities and equipment
  • List and report any faults detected to your line manager
  • Keep working areas clean and tidy, and take care of the equipment provided to ensure that the working environment remains safe

This is a second shift position M-Th 1:30 PM- 9:30 PM, F- 1:30 PM- Midnight, located in Irvington, AL
