Position Overview

As a Mobile Applications Developer at Quore, you will develop and maintain Flutter applications for Android and iOS, native Android modules, and deliver high-quality features independently with minimal oversight. You'll drive tasks to completion and will work directly with the Lead Mobile Product Engineer for guidance on more complex issues.

This role will work in-person 4 days a week. We kindly ask that only candidates who are willing and able to work in-person at our Franklin, TN office apply for this position.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain mobile app features for both Android and iOS using Flutter.
  • Develop and maintain native Android modules (Java/Kotlin) as needed.
  • Support architectural discussions by providing feedback and insights.
  • Implement optimizations to improve app performance, memory usage, and battery efficiency.
  • Debug issues across Flutter and native layers.
  • Write unit, widget and integration tests for Flutter code.
  • Collaborate with designers to deliver high-quality UI/UX designs.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Maintain documentation for implemented features and relevant technical decisions.
  • Work independently on assigned tasks, seeking guidance on architectural issues.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field preferred, or 5 + years of relevant hands-on experience in software development.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in mobile application development, with hands-on experience in both native (Android/iOS) and Flutter frameworks.
  • Proficient in Dart.
  • Experience with OS development (Java/Kotlin).
  • Experience with State Management and routing frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of Android lifecycle and Flutter widget lifecycle.
  • Experience with REST APIs, JSON, async programming, and local persistence.
  • Familiarity with MVVM / Repository patterns.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfort working independently in a SaaS environment with minimal oversight.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, App Distribution)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, etc.)

Primary Purpose

Oversees statistical activities and deliverables across a project or platform of related clinical research studies, leads a team of Statisticians and SAS Programmers and ensures that statistical deliverables are completed in a timely manner and with high quality. Serves as a lead statistician on multiple clinical research studies, from the initial design stage all the way to final report writing and manuscript preparation.


Responsibilities

  • Manages a team of Statisticians and SAS Programmers and is ultimately responsible for statistical deliverables across multiple projects or platforms of related clinical research studies.
  • Serves as a lead statistician on multiple clinical research studies, from initial study design through final report development and manuscript writing.
  • Serves as a client point of contact for statistical deliverables, fostering a collaborative relationship with contract sponsors and Emmes project team members.
  • Represents Emmes at Sponsor, Regulatory, Investigator or Safety Review meetings (e.g., Data and Safety Monitoring Board Meetings).
  • Manages project statistical resources (i.e. budget and personnel) to ensure statistical tasks are completed on schedule and that each project has adequate staffing levels.
  • Establishes budgets for statistical activities on new project work.
  • Identifies statistical and operational issues and proposes solutions.
  • Oversees the conduct of a clinical trial/project and quality control at the clinical center(s) and the data coordinating center and communicates issues to the appropriate oversight committees.
  • Prepares, reviews and/or approves clinical project material that requires statistical input to ensure that the documents are scientifically valid and feasible.
  • Supervises and mentors more junior statistical staff and provides opportunities for career growth.
  • Participates in recruiting activities for new statistical staff members and provides input on hiring decisions.
  • Reviews work processes, schedules and checklists to ensure that all routine activities, as documented in corporate and project-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), are efficiently performed.
  • Participates in project and corporate quality assurance activities, particularly those of a statistical nature.
  • Ensures that project staff is trained and mentored, supervises project staff and performs personnel reviews.
  • Provides project updates to Senior Biostatistician Managers.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • MS or PhD in statistics, biostatistics, epidemiology or related field.
  • At least 4 (with PhD) or 6 (with MS) years of related experience; including leading a clinical research team and supervising senior level statistical staff.
  • Expertise in state-of-the-art data manipulation and statistical analyses.
  • Proven effective leadership of a clinical research team.
  • Strong skills in prioritization, problem-solving, organization, decision-making, time management, negotiation, mentoring and planning.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and detail oriented.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, while working independently.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts, both written and oral.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience supporting CNC-machined components from RFQ through production, collaborating closely with engineering, operations, and suppliers. This role supports a diverse customer base across industries including aerospace, pipe fittings, hydraulics, and hose assemblies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and develop accurate, competitive CNC RFQs and production quotes for complex machined components and assemblies.
  • Analyze customer drawings, specifications, and RFQs to determine manufacturing feasibility, machining strategy, and cost drivers.
  • Translate customer requirements into manufacturable CNC solutions, considering tolerances, materials, cycle times, and production methods.
  • Collaborate with engineering, CNC programmers, machinists, and production teams to optimize designs for manufacturability, quality, and cost.
  • Support CNC production planning by validating routings, estimating run times, tooling needs, and labor requirements.
  • Lead product definition, requirements gathering, and business case development for new and existing products.
  • Coordinate prototype builds, first articles, testing, and validation to support customer and internal approvals.
  • Partner with sourcing and supply chain teams to support supplier evaluation, CNC sourcing decisions, and cost‑reduction initiatives.
  • Monitor product performance, quality metrics, and production feedback, driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Significant hands-on experience in a CNC machine shop environment.
  • Proven experience with CNC RFQs, CNC quoting, and supporting CNC production in a precision manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of CNC machining processes (turning, milling, multi-axis preferred), materials, tolerances, and GD&T/blueprint reading.
  • Demonstrated experience estimating cycle times, labor, tooling, and overhead for CNC-machined components.
  • Experience working closely with CNC programmers, machinists, and production teams.
  • Proficiency with CAD/CAM software and experience navigating ERP/MRP systems.
  • Industry experience in aerospace, pipe fittings, hydraulics, hoses, or similar precision manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, assertiveness, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical and cost concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
