About the Role
The PVCO Production Shift Supervisor at our Wichita Falls, TX is responsible for leading daily production operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing of PVCO pipe. This role provides direct supervision of production personnel, drives operational performance, and ensures adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
The Production Supervisor plays a key role in achieving production targets, minimizing waste, optimizing processes, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet safety, quality, and output objectives
- Lead and reinforce compliance with Westlake Pipe & Fittings safety policies and procedures
- Conduct shift meetings, safety training, inspections, incident investigations, and follow-up actions
- Drive root cause problem solving using 5-Why methodology and structured improvement tools
- Monitor workflow, staffing, and line performance to optimize efficiency and reduce downtime
- Complete accurate and timely production documentation, including shift reports, SAP production data, and SPC charts
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to production team members
- Partner with Maintenance and Engineering to recommend equipment improvements or modifications
- Lead changeovers to ensure efficient transitions and minimal production disruption
- Monitor key performance metrics including production output, scrap, material utilization, and regrind usage

Qualifications

- Familiarity with SAP, SPC, or production reporting systems preferred

- 1-3 years' experience in customer Service Arena, Video Broadcasting, Theatre, Event Planning preferably in a corporate environment as well as project management
- This position requires an understanding of department technology and service offerings; business and office procedures; and the ability to adhere to documented policies and procedures.
- The candidate must be computer literate with experience using Microsoft Office, Outlook and database software.
- Must have the ability to multitask, with attention to detail.

Our compensation ranges reflect the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The pay details below range from our lowest geographic market up to our highest geographic market. The Production Packaging Supervisor - 3rd Shift leads and coordinates the activities of their shift to realize production targets. This includes assisting with all material supply in line with Production/Packaging plan to ensure smooth, uninterrupted operations and supporting any other operational areas needs. The ideal Production Packaging Supervisor - 3rd Shift, will have 5+ years of manufacturing experience, a minimum of 2+ years in a supervisory or management level position, and at least 1 or more years of experience working in food manufacturing or pharmaceutical manufacturing plant.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the staffing process to ensure colleagues have the training and education necessary to build the job-related skills needed to perform all required duties, safely and effectively, meeting HARIBO's high standards
- Promote and maintain good employee relations on the line, both personally and with the Team Leads and extended teams. Lead the team leads and extended team by providing coaching and counselling in conjunction with regular reviews and training, to maintain a high morale on the line
- Work with, collaborate and cooperate with the Maintenance Planner and Production Planner to ensure delivery commitments are achieved. Ensure trials, changeovers and maintenance work is planned and completed on time and does not conflict with production schedule attainment. Investigate problems resulting in attainment misses and implement corrective actions
- Monitor line performance and ensure output, labor and material yield standards are achieved
- Ensure Product and Performance data is available and accurate at all times. Prepare KPIs and reports for use at the Daily Management System meetings, and to communicate performance to the Site Leadership team and Line teams
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be available to work 3rd shift production schedule
- High School Diploma or equivalency (GED,HSED) required
- Minimum of 5 Years of Manufacturing Experience preferred in a non-union environment
- Minimum of 2 Years of Supervisory or management experience is required
- Excellent Communication Skills (Verbal and Written)
- Available to work flexible hours and days as needed to meet business demands
- Strong decision-making, problem solving, and organizational skills are required
- Ability to train others and coach to compliance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, SAP, and LMS) systems preferred
- Basic knowledge of Industrial Maintenance and manufacturing equipment
- Possess a basic Financial Understanding to ensure results are delivered. Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills
- Prior experience with high-speed packaging equipment in food/pharma manufacturing
- Prior experience using SAP in a manufacturing environment
- TPM and/or Lean manufacturing experience is preferred
Target Hiring Pay Range: $75,000 - $90,000 annually
