Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS), is looking for an Associate or Mid-Level SAR Signal & Image Processing Engineer (Level 2 or 3) to join the Kent Space SEIT team located in Kent, WA (Seattle, WA) . This position will focus on developing radar analysis and algorithms in a mission-critical environment that directly empowers our defensive capabilities. You will develop and validate requirements for Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) systems, perform trade studies, design and run tests to verify performance, support engineering compliance, and provide lifecycle root-cause analysis. Work is performed under general direction with contributions to proposals as needed.
This role emphasizes algorithm design and software implementation: develop and evaluate radar algorithms (signal and image processing, detection, tracking, imaging) and translate them into production-ready code. Proficiency in Python or C++ for algorithm development, prototyping, and data analysis is required; experience with signal and image processing toolsets, real-time software constraints, requirements tracing, and test-program design is highly valued. Strong analytical, communication, and customer-focused skills with a commitment to quality and safety are essential.
Position Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and test radar algorithms and translate analytic designs into production-ready code using Python (and other languages as needed)
Perform trade studies to evaluate algorithm and system performance; iterate designs based on results and test data
Participate in customer meetings, capture requirements and feedback, and provide technical support for operational tools and deployments.
Support agile software development practices: write user stories, participate in sprints, review code, and deliver incremental capability updates.
Define and execute test plans, perform root-cause analysis of anomalies, and coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure requirements compliance.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
Requires an active DoD Top Secret Clearance
2+ years of relevant experience in radar systems, electromagnetic analysis, or related fields, including algorithm development and system-level testing.
1+ years’ experience with Python, C++, C, or Matlab for algorithm development, prototyping, and data analysis; experience with signal processing toolsets and simulation environments
Demonstrated ability to derive and trace requirements, DEVELOP test CASES, and collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams
Willing to travel domestically as needed (~10%)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Active TS/SCI
Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Math, or related field with focus on radar or electromagnetics.
Experience with real-time software architectures and implementation (C/C++, RTOS, or embedded systems).
Prior work on radar signal processing algorithms (detection, tracking, SAR/ISAR, waveform design) or electronic warfare techniques.
Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink, NumPy/SciPy, and signal-processing libraries and toolchains.
Hands-on experience with test-range operations, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL), and flight or ground test campaigns.
Knowledge of requirements management tools, model-based systems engineering (MBSE), and supplier/partner integration processes.
Experience working in an Agile software development environment and DevOps methodologies

About the Role
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in operating variety of machines to manufacture parts or products by performing the following duties.

Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) is seeking multiple Machinist Assemblers Precision to join our Machinist departments in either Seattle, WA or Tukwila, WA .
Machinists in this position participate in the design, fabrication and assembly of various production and research projects. Using a variety of precision machines (e.g., lathes, grinders, EDM, CNC and milling machines) to support aircraft engineering and production groups.
Position Responsibilities:
Perform bench work (e.g., drilling, honing, tapping, reaming) on production and experimental parts, as required
Assemble parts using rivets and bolts with correct tools such as rivet squeeze, lock bolt puller, rivet gun and bucking bar, power screwdriver, or ratchet per engineering requirements
Lay-out, plan and sequence machining operation
Analyze and interpret drawings, sketches, blueprints and verbal instructions to determine work to be performed on detailed precision parts (e.g., aircraft castings, fixtures, tools, shop aids)
Use shop math, geometry and/or trig to calculate dimensions
Determine/obtain raw material to be used (e.g., brass, aluminum, steel, composites, and wood) for machining or fabrication per drawing or customer requirements
Set up operate and adjust all common machine tools (e.g., lathe, mill, bridgeport, electrical discharge machine (EDM), drill press) to accomplish work on precision assemblies
Select machine to be used in machining process
Check machine to be used for missing, loose, damaged equipment, check oil and coolant levels and fill, as required
Write programs as required for multi axis machines
Adjust machine settings (e.g., speeds and feeds) to correct machining problems or to prepare machine for next operation in sequence
Perform minor editing of CNC programs per shop requirements
Select and check cutting tools per program or CNC documents
Ensure cutters are the correct type, length, diameter, radius, and are in good condition
Select machine accessories and holding devises (e.g., chucks, vises, turntables)
Verify that apparatus is in good condition
Identify fixtures and/or shop aids to be built and fabricate as required using mill, lathe, bandsaw, drill press, sander and grinder
Attach machine accessories, tools and shop aides using dial indicators, edge finders, wrenches, bolts, clamps, and overhead cranes
Monitor machine during operation for unusual vibration or sounds, watch machine gauges and controller display or digital readout for warnings, visually check cutter path, clearance and chips to ensure smooth operation
Check work with precision instruments (e.g., micrometers, dial indicators, height gauges) and ensure parts are free from defects (e.g., finish, dimensions, mismatch, tool marks) and complete per drawing, sketch or verbal instructions
Assemble, fit, check, test of developmental machine parts and assemblies to customer specification
Troubleshoot and test precision assemblies with working groups (e.g., engineering, production, inspection, manufacturing resource & development (MRD)) to resolve tooling/production problems
Handle and dispose of hazardous materials (e.g., coolants, solvents) in approved manner (per Material Safety Data Sheets) using personal protective equipment, as required
Maintain personal tool certifications, as required
Ability to use computers and knowledge and ability to use MSWord, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime; some positions may also be rotating shifts

What we're looking for:
- 3+ years experience managing teams within an SRE, Production Engineering or other Platform/Infrastructure organizations

CNC PROGRAMMER (STARSHIP COMPONENTS) - LEVEL 4/5
As a CNC Programmer at SpaceX, you will have the opportunity to utilize your knowledge, experience, and creativity to develop novel solutions at the cutting edge of space technology. You will work on hardware that will deliver satellites into Earth orbit, ferry humans to and from the International Space Station, and ultimately extend humanity's reach beyond the Earth and Moon. You will provide input into the design and development of new and existing hardware and take a lead role in creating robust machining processes to create parts for our current and next generation vehicles.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Use Esprit CAM to program and generate G-Code for Okuma mill-turn lathes and mills, with a focus on optimizing complex, multi-axis programs
* Create and refine tooling and process setup sheets for new part introductions, incorporating lessons learned from prior iterations
* Set-up, prove out, and operate programs on Okuma mill-turn lathes and mills, troubleshooting issues independently to minimize downtime
* Contribute to the development and utilization of a CAM database for efficient new part programming, including data analysis to improve repeatability
* Review quality concerns from piece part inspection, lead root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to processes
* Analyze piece parts for DFM to ensure optimization for manufacturing; collaborate closely with engineering to recommend and implement drawing changes
* Integrate feedback from engineering and production to rapidly iterate on part processes and designs, mentoring junior programmers on best practices
* Pursue and share continuous education opportunities; stay up to date on the latest manufacturing technologies and integrate them into team workflows
* Proactively keep products moving, identify potential production inhibitors early, and propose solutions to management
* Maintain physical 5S and electronic organization with adherence to shop/SpaceX standards; assist in developing and enforcing standards for broader team adoption
* Collaborate with other SpaceX machine shop facilities to share capabilities, optimize resource allocation, and resolve capacity/scheduling challenges
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

* Understanding of advanced machining processes and equipment, including integration of automation

Registered Polysomnography Technologist- Level II performs polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services, Home Sleep Apnea Testing, patient care and education and works under the general supervision of the Supervisor and Medical Directors to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. May serve as a preceptor to PSG Trainee and/or Technician in all age groups and settings. May need to travel to various sleep lab locations based on department needs to cover patient care and other duties as assigned.

* Perform appropriate scoring of both adult and pediatric sleep studies.
* Perform testing procedures PSG, titration studies, MSLT, MWT, PAP Nap, HSAT, other sleep procedures, and provide effective respiratory care according to UHC Sleep Center protocols.
* Identifies and corrects machine malfunctions.
* Collaborates with Sleep Center staff, and members of other disciplines to ensure a strong team and contribute to the achievement of the operational goals of the assigned area.
