Overview

Assist in managing the raw materials and the finished goods inventory to achieve an optimum level of inventory turns, with the minimum amount of waste. Key responsibilities include receiving products in Syspro/Datascope, preparing them for put-away and ensuring receiving and put-away procedures are followed & coordinate closely with production planning, purchasing and suppliers.

Essential Duties & Principal Responsibilities

• Perform material receipt function(s) in Syspro/Datascope.
• Perform cycle counting daily and investigate variances as required.
• Rectify any discrepancies with physical goods and paperwork.
• Ensure timeliness and accuracy of put-away locations in facility, using system reporting.
• Ensure proper rotation of product lot numbers (FIFO), using system reporting.
• Work with Purchasing, Production and Shipping/Receiving to resolve issues.
• Coordinate rework of expiring and obsolete items where required.
• Manage, consolidate, and prepare environmental waste items for shipment to disposal facilities in conjunction with company EHS officer.
• Report Supplier quality issues in Unipoint.
• Follow up on raw material and finished goods returns.Assure proper completion and coordinate inventory adjustments as required.
• Assess safety stock of raw materials and finished goods each month and modify as needed.
• Understand and promote lean inventory philosophy.
• Collaborate with Production, Sales, QA & Warehouse to develop an optimized flow of goods.
• Generate ideas for improvements in safety, quality and delivery.
• Identify and react to problems swiftly.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics as outlined in W. R. Meadows Code of Ethics Policy
• Travel is required to corporate office as required for initial training/onboarding. Periodic travel to Denver, CO distribution warehouse to perform inventory counts and maintain relationship with warehouse provider.

Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) is seeking multiple Machinist Assemblers Precision to join our Machinist departments in either Seattle, WA or Tukwila, WA.

Machinists in this position participate in the design, fabrication and assembly of various production and research projects. Using a variety of precision machines (e.g., lathes, grinders, EDM, CNC and milling machines) to support aircraft engineering and production groups.

Position Responsibilities:

• Perform bench work (e.g., drilling, honing, tapping, reaming) on production and experimental parts, as required
• Assemble parts using rivets and bolts with correct tools such as rivet squeeze, lock bolt puller, rivet gun and bucking bar, power screwdriver, or ratchet per engineering requirements
• Lay-out, plan and sequence machining operation
• Analyze and interpret drawings, sketches, blueprints and verbal instructions to determine work to be performed on detailed precision parts (e.g., aircraft castings, fixtures, tools, shop aids)
• Use shop math, geometry and/or trig to calculate dimensions
• Determine/obtain raw material to be used (e.g., brass, aluminum, steel, composites, and wood) for machining or fabrication per drawing or customer requirements
• Set up operate and adjust all common machine tools (e.g., lathe, mill, bridgeport, electrical discharge machine (EDM), drill press) to accomplish work on precision assemblies
• Select machine to be used in machining process
• Check machine to be used for missing, loose, damaged equipment, check oil and coolant levels and fill, as required
• Write programs as required for multi axis machines
• Adjust machine settings (e.g., speeds and feeds) to correct machining problems or to prepare machine for next operation in sequence
• Perform minor editing of CNC programs per shop requirements
• Select and check cutting tools per program or CNC documents
• Ensure cutters are the correct type, length, diameter, radius, and are in good condition
• Select machine accessories and holding devises (e.g., chucks, vises, turntables)
• Verify that apparatus is in good condition
• Identify fixtures and/or shop aids to be built and fabricate as required using mill, lathe, bandsaw, drill press, sander and grinder
• Attach machine accessories, tools and shop aides using dial indicators, edge finders, wrenches, bolts, clamps, and overhead cranes
• Monitor machine during operation for unusual vibration or sounds, watch machine gauges and controller display or digital readout for warnings, visually check cutter path, clearance and chips to ensure smooth operation
• Check work with precision instruments (e.g., micrometers, dial indicators, height gauges) and ensure parts are free from defects (e.g., finish, dimensions, mismatch, tool marks) and complete per drawing, sketch or verbal instructions
• Assemble, fit, check, test of developmental machine parts and assemblies to customer specification
• Troubleshoot and test precision assemblies with working groups (e.g., engineering, production, inspection, manufacturing resource & development (MRD)) to resolve tooling/production problems
• Handle and dispose of hazardous materials (e.g., coolants, solvents) in approved manner (per Material Safety Data Sheets) using personal protective equipment, as required
• Maintain personal tool certifications, as required
• Ability to use computers and knowledge and ability to use MSWord, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime; some positions may also be rotating shifts

Role Summary

Reporting to the Quality Assurance Director, the Quality Assurance Supervisor has day-to-day responsibility over the Hayward Tyler, Inc.’s [Nuclear] Quality Program that includes execution of our processes and procedures that define the way we meet the requirements of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), ASME B&PV Code, and US Law to ensure our products and services meet the most stringent quality expectations of our customers. This important role is also responsible for the oversight of the output and training of the Quality Control Inspection team. The Quality Assurance Supervisor can also be part of increasing efficiency of HTI through continuous improvement.

Functional Goals

• Facilitation of the HTI Quality Program.

• Successful completion of audits from regulators, certifying organizations, and customers.

• Participates in vendor audits/surveys as required.

Principal Duties

Site Leadership

The Quality Assurance Supervisor serves as the primary Quality contact at the Vermont site, working closely with cross-functional teams, while reporting to the Quality Assurance Director at Hayward Tyler, Inc. in Vermont. This position oversees all QA activity at the Vermont facility, and ensures compliance with company quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. Keep management informed of the status of QA issues impacting production, personnel, and product deployment.

Quality Activities

This position leads the Quality department at Hayward Tyler and is responsible for all Quality activities. Quality functions break down into three main areas:

• Quality Assurance

Works with the QA Director to develop and maintain the Quality Program, including the Quality Manual, Policies, Procedures, and Processes to adhere to the requirements of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, and US Law. Ensures that quality requirements for contracts are properly converted to internal actionable items, and that the ASL and vendor qualifications are audited to meet our stringent requirements. Responsible for maintaining the qualification and certification of inspectors, internal/external auditors, nondestructive examiners and welders.

• Quality Control

Responsible for the review, the control, and to assure the product and the processes for quality are followed in accordance with our program. This includes contract and supplier purchase order review, material control, calibration, product inspection, destructive and non-destructive testing, and ASME B&PV Code activities.

• Quality Improvement

Responsible for working with the QAD to drive down the cost of quality from both internally and externally manufactured products and services. Major focus is internally generated errors and warranty costs. Responsible for driving a “right the first time” culture.

Minimum Qualifications:

• AS in Engineering or equivalent job experience (2 plus years in technical position)

• Work experience in a Quality Assurance role in the commercial nuclear industry preferred.

• Commercial Nuclear audit experience required with Lead Auditor qualification preferred.

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, or Auditor is a plus.

• Fundamental understanding of the audit process including types of audits, planning, preparation, execution, reporting results and follow-up.

• Capability to learn and develop NDE experience from the organization.

• ASME B&PV Code experience in Section III and/or Section VIII preferred.

• Developed understanding of problem-solving and quality improvement tools and techniques. This includes knowledge of planning tools, quality tools, preventive and corrective actions, and how to overcome barriers to quality improvements.

Overview

We are seeking skilled CNC Machinists at multiple levels (Machinist I, II, and III) to support precision manufacturing operations. This role focuses on producing high-quality parts using CNC equipment while maintaining strong safety, quality, and efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities

All Levels:

• Set up and operate CNC mills (3, 4, and 5-axis)
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Load, edit, and run CNC programs (G-code & M-code)
• Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust processes as needed
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records

The Senior Supply Chain Planner is responsible for serving as a key member of the Supply Chain Management team by processing and managing information involving fulfillment of orders, inventory management, and demand forecasting to contribute to revenue generation and improve the profitability of the company.

Essential Functions and Main Duties

• Support end-to-end production planning and shipment if needed
• Monitor and communicate backorder status to cross-functional stakeholders and provide a commitment of delivery date to Sales and PMO team for all types of projects
• Provide the status update on backorder items to all stakeholders (sales, marketing, PMO, planners, service, etc.) to set an expectation of delivery proactively or in a timely manner
• Analyze inventory levels to maintain optimal inventory daily basis based on assignment
• Facilitate and execute the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to finalize demand plans.
• Collaborate with Finance to reduce inventory devaluation and with Marketing on new-product and end-of-life inventory planning.
• Place purchase orders for Internal assemble items, Dropshipment items or Service items such as software and license based on the supply planning

Qualifications

Education / Certification / Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related discipline; relevant education and experience accepted in lieu of degree

• Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
• APICS certification preferred
• Prior experience working with Microsoft Excel, Salesforce, and ERP Software (SAP) preferred
