This person will be responsible for a variety of different duties in a manufacturing environment, primarily reconditioning of railcar-related components. In this role you will interact with multiple levels of professionals and spend most of your day in an industrial setting performing general labor on a production line. This position calls for a highly motivated self-starter who can wear many hats, work at a fast pace, and wants to work hard every day. We are ideally looking for someone who has a background in industrial labor, but it is not required for this role.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Breakdown and inspect rail car bearings.
- Repair or replace faulty components of the bearings.
- Reassemble and prepare rail car bearings for shipment.
- Always demonstrate compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean workstation and production floor.
- Be an active team member who is focused on quality and production goals.
- Work well with others and immediately report any safety concerns or personnel issues to management.

Responsibilities:
Efficiency
Responsible for maintaining required cycle times per IQMs and documenting any deficiencies with written explanations to the Production Manager.
Quality
Ensure adherence to QC standards, support audits, follow production procedures, minimize scrap, maximize efficiency, and confirm all production is properly scanned and transferred to the warehouse each shift.
Labor
Manage staffing and scheduling needs, supervise employees to ensure compliance with procedures, track attendance and performance issues, and conduct evaluations when requested to meet production demands.
Molds, Change Overs or Repairs
Coordinate mold changeovers with minimal downtime, track scrap and downtime in IQMs, perform mold cleaning and preventative maintenance, communicate mold issues or component needs, and maintain proper mold storage and status updates.
Safety
Ensure proper use of required PPE, and identify, correct, or report unsafe equipment or conditions within the facility.
Qualifications
Requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), at least 3 years of injection molding experience, and preferably prior supervisory experience. If you don't have supervisory experience, a maintenance background with plastic injection molding is preferred.

Jabil is seeking a Manufacturing Test Development Manager who will directly contribute to the transformative growth within our Intelligent Infrastructure division by applying unique and innovative approaches to solving problems within a large-scale software production environment. You and your team will be responsible for contributing to the end-to-end architecture, definition, development and production deployment of production software applications and infrastructure spanning multiple customers and manufacturing regions. JOB QUALIFICATIONS and KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices for the complete software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Agile, CICD, and SLDC process implementation and application experience.
- Knowledge/Expertise in the following programming/scripting languages: Python, BASH, Java experience a plus.
- Linux development experience with a solid understanding of its fundamentals and internals: Ubuntu/ CentOS
- Well-versed in the following container/virtualization environments: VMware, Docker.
