The Medical Intensive Care Unit provides interdisciplinary care for patients with a variety of serious medical conditions in a technologically advanced environment. MICU is a closed unit run by pulmonary/critical care specialist physicians and patients are frequently on ventilators, and vasopressor support. We have 6 Critical Care Intensivists: A resident team, each led by an attending who specializes in Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine. Daily multidisciplinary rounds at bedside to discuss patients' plans of care.
The role of an ICU/CCU RN is to provide care to critical patients /complex surgical patients requiring but not limited to cardiac monitoring, invasive lines, ventilators, and critical care pharmacology medications. In this role, you will provide quality care to our patients on an inpatient 8 bed ICU that cares for cardiac, respiratory and surgical day patients. In this fast paced environment you will assess, plan, implement and document patient care, communicate with patients, families and other health team members effectively and implement core measures as indicated on the patients of this unit. Applicants should possess excellent communication, assessment, documentation and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to prioritize as well as a commitment to work with a culturally diverse population.
Qualifications/Experience:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current MA RN License
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred
ICU/Critical Care RN experience required
Current AHA BLS & ACLS certifications required
CCRN Preferred

Inpatient Case Management provides psychosocial assessments, evaluations, and referrals for adults, and/or families with psychiatric illness, substance abuse, and medical illness. Casework or therapy takes place in the hospital setting. Cross Training to all areas of Care Management.
Under the general supervision of the Director of Care Management, the RN Case Manager provides clinically-based case management to support the delivery of effective and efficient patient care consistent with the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Conditions of Participation. The RN Case Manager will collaborate with other members of the health care team to identify appropriate utilization of resources and to ensure reimbursement. Utilize criteria to confirm medical necessity for admission and continued stay. With the patient, family and health care team, create a post-acute care plan appropriate to the patient's needs and resources and facilitate this transition in concert with that patient's inpatient and post-acute care teams.

Position Summary
As a Sleep Technician, you will play a vital role in providing and overseeing all aspects of sleep study and EEG testing. Working under medical direction of our Pulmonologist, you will ensure studies are conducted efficiently, safely, and with a strong focus on patient comfort and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and score a variety of sleep studies, including: In-lab diagnostic polysomnography (PSG); CPAP and Bi-Level titrations; Multiple Sleep Latency Tests (MSLT); Home Sleep Testing (HST)
- Prepare, set up, and monitor patients during sleep studies
- Analyze and score sleep data accurately and in a timely manner
- Educate patients and families on sleep disorders, treatment options, and sleep hygiene
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive testing environment
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications
Education & Credentials:

Job Summary:
Provides critical first contact between patients and Care Alliance Health Center.
