Responsibilities:
We're looking for a design/construction-focused Instrumentation / Fire Alarm Engineer who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients' business. Join us and you'll have the chance to work on projects including state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities.

- Accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks while gaining familiarity with the client's expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.
- Provide on-site assistance during startup, coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead.
- Produce designs for electrical circuits and panels utilizing control applications.
- Design control systems for a variety of processes and develop options/optimizations for all aspects of process control, instrumentation, and automation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited program in Electrical, Fire Protection, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
- At least 4 years of experience working with Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) / Life Safety Systems (LSS).
- Ability to generate complete I&C/LSS design packages (e.g. P&IDs, I/O lists, wiring diagrams, control narratives, etc.) with minimal supervision/oversight.
- Working knowledge of PLC, DCS, and other controls applications.
- Working knowledge of Fire Alarm and Life Safety System regulations/requirements.
Ideally, you'll also have:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Fire Alarm System NICET Certification.
- Experience related to semiconductor fabrication facilities.
- Experience reviewing vendor submittal packages against client requirements and specifications.
- Field experience interacting with subcontractors and construction personnel.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Navisworks software.
- Working knowledge of UL 508A for industrial control panel design.
- Working knowledge of NFPA 72 for fire alarm and signaling code.
- Familiarity with Siemens PLC systems.
- Familiarity with Edwards EST3 and EST4 Fire Alarm Control Systems.

Other Requirements:
- This is an on-site position requiring work to be performed on the client site in Boise, ID.

Physical Requirements:
- Position requires field visits and walks at an active client site in various stages of construction.
- Applicant must be able to walk long distances, sit and stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, twist, crawl, climb ladders, work on catwalks, work in small spaces, lift and carry up to 25lbs.

Provides Planned Maintenance (PM), safety testing, repairs, calibration, installation, routine and emergency service to general and various specialized diagnostic and therapeutic medical equipment, as assigned by the Clinical Engineering (CE) Manager.

Completes corrective and planned maintenance work order documentation per policy.

Provides assistance and training to Bio-Medical Equipment Technician I as assigned by Clinical Engineering Management.

Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local laws/regulations; the Trinity Health Integrity and Compliance Program and Code of Conduct; as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behavior.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSAssociates of Applied Sciences degree in medical electronics, electronic technology or related field, including comparable military training or an equivalent combination of education and experience. CBET certification preferred.
Three (3) to five (5) years' experience performing corrective and planned maintenance on medical devices and/or clinical support equipment.
Must have a basic understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.

Injection Molding | Process Engineer
Specializes in designing and implementing the manufacturing processes for the injection molding department. Driver of safety, continuous improvement objectives, quality control standards, and process activities for engineering technicians and process technicians. Supports the improvement of operations and reducing operating costs.
- Provide support and direction to Process Engineers, PE technicians, process technicians, and production personnel as needed
- Develop and maintain injection molding processes and new manufacturing methods
- Provide course of action for manufacturing issues, out-of-control processes, and quality discrepancies
- Applying root cause analysis practice to solve problems
- Gather and analyze data for understanding and guiding improvement plans for key process indicators including quality, scrap, cycle time, and cost reduction
- Support standardization of equipment and procedures to meet Utz Global and Fit-4-Future initiatives
- Support new mold launches and samplings
- Key user of MES, Authentig, and remote maintenance
- Knowledge source for plant-wide system processes (i.e. Oni, Motan, etc.)
- Interface with various vendors for services, equipment, and capital improvement
- Maintain current documentation used and continue to develop new resources and SOP’s necessary to support process functions and maintain project deadlines
- Work closely with Injection Molding Manager to create and drive employee development plans for applicable team members.
- Provide on-sight training for technical staff as needed as part of employee development
- Assist in maintaining machines and equipment
- Part of a cross-functional team working with Maintenance, Tooling, Design Engineering, and Automation to address issues, complete project goals, and develop improvement ideas
- Capital improvement projects (selection, justification, quoting, installation) and working within budgetary requirements

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Technical, Engineering) preferred Associate Degree considered
- 2 years of experience in injection molding process engineering or
- 7+ years of experience in injection molding process with aptitude to above requirements

Responsibilities:
- Performs technical tests and experiments for process engineering within R&D.
- Performs set up of processing equipment.
- Monitors, audits and provides guidance to line operators.
- Processes test runs and prepares records, charts, and graphs of results for presentation to engineering to identify yield problems or test new products.
- Provides technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.
Required Skills:
- 1+ years of experience in a lab or technical environment.
- Equipment handling - operating and loading wafers.

Preferred Skills:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented P&ID Designer or Process Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in creating and revising Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) using AutoCAD, Revit, and Plant 3D, with a strong understanding of ISO and industry standards. This role is critical to ensuring accurate documentation of process systems for industrial, manufacturing, or energy projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and revise P&IDs for process systems in compliance with ISO and project-specific standards.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and process engineers to ensure accurate system representation.
- Use AutoCAD Plant 3D and Revit to model piping layouts, instrumentation, and equipment.
- Maintain and update engineering documentation, including BOMs, datasheets, and control narratives.
- Conduct quality checks and ensure drawings meet regulatory and safety requirements.
- Support project teams during design reviews, construction, and commissioning phases.
- Integrate P&IDs with 3D models and databases for intelligent documentation and asset tracking.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in P&ID design or process engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Plant 3D.
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards and ANSI/ISA instrumentation symbols.
- Familiarity with process control systems and industrial equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SmartPlant P&ID or AVEVA Diagrams.
- Knowledge of BIM workflows and integration.
- Understanding of process safety and HAZOP documentation.
- Ability to automate tasks using scripts or macros in CAD environments.

Role description:
Arcadis is seeking a skilled Process Engineer focused on spray drying processes for tablets or dry powders for a pharmaceutical client in Norton, MA. This role supports scale-up, optimization, and process validation within GMP environments, ensuring product quality, yield, and robust manufacturing performance.
Role accountabilities:
- Lead and optimize spray drying processes for tablets or powders from development through commercialization.
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments to scale processes from pilot to commercial scale; apply statistical methods and design of experiments (DOE) where appropriate.
- Develop and maintain process validation documentation (IQ/OQ/PQ), process controls, and robust process parameters (RPPs).
- Implement process analytical technology (PAT) and Quality by Design (QbD) approaches to monitor critical quality attributes (CQAs) and critical process parameters (CPPs).
- Collaborate with formulation scientists, development, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure compliant, scalable processes.
- Troubleshoot process deviations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Review and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and batch records to align with regulatory requirements (GMP, FDA/EU).
- Support risk assessments, process safety reviews, and equipment qualification activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) for spray drying equipment.
- Prepare technical reports, process summaries, and deviation/validation documentation for regulatory submissions.
- Stay current with industry best practices in spray drying, particle engineering, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with pharmaceutical spray drying processes (tablets or dry powders) in GMP environments.
- Strong understanding of PAT, QbD, DOE, FTIR/NIR/Raman for inline analysis is a plus.
- Experience with process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) and equipment qualification for spray dryers.
- Familiarity with regulatory expectations (FDA, EMA) and good documentation practices.
- Proficiency in data analysis, statistical tools, and process optimization software.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
