Summary
The Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, ensuring smooth coordination of shipments from booking through delivery. The Account Manager develops and maintains strong customer relationships by understanding client needs, Trailer Bridge service capabilities, and pricing structures. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers and manage accounts from order placement through delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to support long-term business partnerships.
- Follow up regularly with existing customers to maintain and grow business opportunities.
- Identify and qualify new opportunities within existing accounts and assist with rate quotations.
- Manage bookings from origin to destination and coordinate shipment movement with internal logistics and operations teams.

- Provide customers with shipment updates, sailing schedules, container status, routing, and equipment availability.
- Facilitate documentation and required regulatory compliance related to shipments.

- Research and resolve shipment, documentation, and billing issues in a timely manner.
- Conduct root cause analysis when problems occur and recommend solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain positive working relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Monitor and manage customer account balances and assist with resolving outstanding invoices.
- Produce and analyze reports related to bookings, sales activity, and account aging.
- Ensure pricing structures support profitability while meeting customer expectations.
- Assist in developing and maintaining a strong, creditworthy customer base.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and cost savings for both customers and Trailer Bridge.
- Participate in the Account Manager Development Program (9 Block Growth Plan) to support professional growth.
Qualifications
- Bilingual (English & Spanish)- Preferred
- 2–3 years of experience in transportation, logistics, account management, sales, or a related field preferred

ABOUT THE JOB:
The Guidebook team is seeking a proven self-starting individual to join as an Account Manager to drive upsell/growth and net retention within our customer base and to take ownership of a high-potential book of business.
This individual will work with a broad spectrum of strategic accounts, from corporate/small-to-medium businesses (SMBs) to higher education. This is a sales role focused on our existing clients. You will identify untapped revenue potential, navigate complex organizations to find new decision-makers, and aggressively drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities. You'll also ensure a seamless renewal process by effectively managing a portfolio of customers to limit dollar for dollar and logo churn.
This position requires the ability to sell the value of Guidebook, foster meaningful relationships with customers, spot and pursue upsell opportunities, generate account growth through outbound prospecting, and negotiate. The right person for the role will take great satisfaction in seeing accounts use Guidebook successfully and grow their usage, and use their voice to contribute directly to the company's success. In addition, the ideal candidate possesses both a hunger and an acumen for strategic problem solving with clients.
WITHIN 3 MONTHS, YOU'LL:
* Own the renewals and upsell process for a portfolio of customers in collaboration with the Customer Success and Sales teams.
* Learn innovative ways to leverage the Guidebook platform to solve an array of important business issues for customers.
* Close renewal business on a quarterly basis and develop and close new add-on sales, while meeting and exceeding your quota.
* Analyze usage metrics to understand how the customer is using Guidebook, including evaluating product adoption.
WITHIN 6 MONTHS, YOU'LL:
* Drive your book of business to 100%+ NRR through proactive renewals and strategic expansion.
* Develop a foolproof, and easily shared success plan to ensure organizational adoption and expansion of our product.
* Build a pipeline of 3x your quarterly upsell quota by auditing your assigned book of business and identifying accounts with untapped potential.
* Begin working directly with your teammates to assess key team needs and work with your manager to bring those needs to life.
* Plan quarterly business reviews with clients to leverage Guidebook for broader business needs.
* Explore outbound techniques that increase Guidebook's impact across existing institutions - including email, calls, and event attendance.
WITHIN 12 MONTHS, YOU'LL:
* Refine your priorities to focus energy towards the accounts with the highest growth potential - we want you to run your portfolio like your own business, because as a shareholder, it is!
* Demonstrate a track record of expanding Average Contract Value (ACV) by 20% across your territory.
* Identify and implement process improvements to scale the role.
* Work to make the rest of your team better because they should be making you better too!

COMPENSATION:
The annual OTE (on-target earnings) range for this role, depending on relevant experience, is $65,000-85,000 (this includes a base salary and an annual variable paid quarterly).

A Day in the Life- Responsible for driving capital and consumable product portfolio sales that addresses PM portfolio
- Drives opportunity identification and sales activities at IDN level and high opportunity hospitals across PM
- Identifies competitive conversion opportunities
- Lead territory opportunity development and activities that translate to accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual projections. The Executive Account Rep will maintain sole ownership of providing accurate forecasts to their Regional Business Manager each reporting period for their territory
- Identify, qualify, prepare, and execute effective sales strategies that maintain the existing base of business and support the close of competitive and revenue growth opportunities
- Probe, develop, and close all related product sales inquiries/leads with existing customers within assigned geographic territory
- Coordinate and collaborate with regionally aligned field sales team to drive incremental PM revenue and achieve target sales goals
- Develop, negotiate, close, and manage profitable agreements

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Senior Commercial Lines Account Executive
Job Summary:
The Senior Commercial Lines Account Executive is responsible for initiating client relationships, supporting producers by assisting with new business and providing excellent client service.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and expertise for commercial property and casualty insurance accounts, assisting in account management and servicing.

Basic Requirements:
- Active Florida 2-20 General Lines License (Property & Casualty) required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in the South Florida Commercial Lines insurance market.
- Thorough knowledge of brokerage operations and procedures, commercial lines rating, and applicable insurance laws/codes.
- Experience using agency management systems, with a preference for Vertafore AMS360 and ImageRight.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, document management tools, and carrier proprietary systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all work.

Preferred Requirements:
- Completion of CISR or ACSR designation; currently enrolled in INS and/or API programs favorable.
- Familiarity with risk assessment and risk management techniques.
