As a Sign Language Interpreter, you will provide essential communication access for students who are deaf or hard of hearing, supporting full participation in classroom instruction and school activities. Your work helps ensure equity, inclusion, and meaningful engagement for students and the broader school community.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday 12:00pm–3:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Interpret classroom discussions, lessons, and school activities into American Sign Language (ASL) or other required communication modes.
• Facilitate communication between students, teachers, peers, and staff.
• Support student comprehension by ensuring accurate, clear, and context-appropriate interpretation.
• Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to the interpreter code of ethics.
• Collaborate with special education staff and classroom teachers to understand instructional goals and student needs.
• Adjust interpreting style based on student’s language level and IEP specifications.
• Assist in ensuring accessibility during school events, meetings, and related activities as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Valid state licensure or certification for educational interpreting, as required by Indiana regulations.
• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL); ability to interpret expressively and receptively.
• Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing preferred.
• Knowledge of educational environments and the interpreter code of professional conduct.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt interpreting techniques to support early childhood learners.

The department seeks candidates who can support the success of all students through inclusive curriculum, classroom environment, and pedagogy. Specific duties and expectations will vary depending on the method of instruction including: Synchronous Live Online (Zoom) or Asynchronous Online (Start Anytime).

• For synchronous instruction (live online courses), duties include but are not limited to: syllabus development; assignment development; lesson planning for class meetings; preparing and submitting required texts and course materials; reviewing and updating Canvas course site; and delivering lectures, presentations, and learning activities for all required hours of instruction.
  
• For asynchronous instruction (start anytime online courses), duties include but are not limited to: reviewing the syllabus and pre-populated online course content; learning and utilizing Canvas classroom management tools; and requesting any training needs from the Program Director or Department Director.

Title: AI Research Scientist

Location: San Jose, CA

Responsibilities:

• Design, execute, and analyze machine learning experiments, establishing strong baselines and selecting appropriate evaluation metrics.
• Stay up to date with the latest AI research; identify, adapt, and validate novel techniques for company-specific use cases.
• Define rigorous evaluation protocols, including offline metrics, user studies, and adversarial (red team) testing to ensure statistical soundness.
• Specify data and annotation requirements; develop annotation guidelines and oversee quality control processes.
• Collaborate closely with domain experts, product managers, and engineering teams to refine problem statements and operational constraints.

Technical Skills:
