Lovelace Medical Center is an acute care hospital with 263 licensed beds,

comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care,
radiology,
and oncology services.
Responsibilities:
Interns are personnel hired at or near the end of their formal education period.
Any Intern hired to work in the Department of Imaging must adhere to all professional conduct standards and facility processes and procedures.
Interns may work in their field of expertise only under the direct Supervision (as defined by CMS Standards) of a technologist licensed and credentialed in that field and having proven competence in writing.
This assumes they are so allowed by state licensing bodies and are not otherwise restricted by their educational institution.
Interns are expected to work in any other area they are qualified to be in, as dictated by the needs of the facility
Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
Be in or have recently completed an AMA-accredited Imaging Program.
The Intern is expected to have
gained full certification and licensure at the time of graduation,
OR
have such temporary credentials as are accepted by the State of New Mexico Licensing Agencies .
If Temporary Credentials are obtained, then Full Credentials are expected to be obtained in the time frame dictated by the State of New Mexico.
Ongoing or completed formal education in an imaging-related field.
Basic computer skills.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities:
Performs various indirect patient care support and services to include but not limited to transporting patients and lab specimens, assist with patient positioning and maintaining patient care rooms to ensure a sterile environment.

Responsibilities:- Enters, maintains, and reports all medical history, medical coding, and files claims using an Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Patient visit support that may include: Greeting patients, and escorting patient to exam room and/or taking patientsβ vital signs, and other applicable medical information to effectively support the reason for the patients visit and recommended treatment.

- Perform routine diagnostic imaging procedures in support of the assigned area and as requested by a licensed medical provider.
- Responsible for adhering to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety.

Job Requirements
- Associateβs Degree in Radiologic Sciences or a Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Program.

- ARRT or registry eligible; Radiologic Technologist Certificate issued by the State of NM.

Responsibilities:- Works under moderate supervision of nursing and medical staff to perform all duties of a PCT, which include assisting patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and other ADLs.
- Observe patientsβ progress to prepare and disseminate reports to Registered Nurses or other medical staff.
- Obtains and records patients' vital signs and collects specimens for lab tests.
- Provide basic patient transport and housekeeping duties.Β
- Measures and records patients' intake and output and other measurements in accordance with unit routines, assists patients with a range of motion, and draws blood.
