Required Qualifications

- Specialty Designations: RDMS must be in Abdomen, Breast, and/or OB/GYN.
- Life Support: Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
- Licensure: Full and unrestricted license in any U.S. State, Territory, or Commonwealth.
- Equipment: Proficiency with Phillips EPIQ 7 or EPIQ 5 systems.

Manages the development, implementation, maintenance, and support of emerging and existing systems and technologies at the CTA, including both operational and administrative software systems and associated hardware, voice/video/data networks, data warehouse and data lakes, security systems, wired and wireless infrastructure, and all associated telecommunication systems and devices.
o Champion adoption of contemporary and emerging technologies to modernize CTAβs applications, systems and platforms, tele-communication infrastructure, public transit systems and public safety systems and technologies to support and further the mission of the CTA.
o Establish and implement a strategic data plan for data storage and compliance, access, data warehouse expansion and cloud migration.

Purpose
The IT Engineer is responsible for the design, reliability, and performance of the organizationβs core infrastructure, with a primary focus on Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM), Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure, Windows Server operating systems, and DNS services. The engineer will build and maintain resilient platforms, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive automation and best practices across the environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Infoblox DDI services, including DNS, DHCP, and IP address management across multiple networks and environments.
- Administer and optimize Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure, including cluster configuration, storage management, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server operating systems (physical and virtual), including roles such as Active Directory, DNS, file/print, and other core services as applicable.
- Manage and support enterprise DNS infrastructure (internal and external), ensuring accurate zone configurations, record management, delegation, and adherence to naming standards.
- Monitor infrastructure health, performance, and availability; proactively identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions and long-term improvements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents involving Infoblox, Nutanix, Windows Server, DNS, networking, and related dependencies, including participation in on-call rotations.
- Implement and maintain security best practices on servers and platforms, including patching, hardening, vulnerability remediation, and adherence to compliance requirements.
- Develop and maintain documentation (runbooks, architecture diagrams, standard operating procedures) for infrastructure components and services.
- Collaborate with network, security, application, and service desk teams to deliver reliable services, support projects, and streamline operational processes.
- Participate in infrastructure projects such as migrations, upgrades, data center changes, cloud integrations, and DR/BCP initiatives.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting (e.g., PowerShell) and available APIs (e.g., Infoblox, Nutanix) to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Contribute to capacity and lifecycle planning, including hardware/software refresh, license management, and roadmap proposals for core platforms.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as an IT Infrastructure/Operations Engineer or similar role with hands-on responsibility for core infrastructure.
- Strong experience administering Infoblox DDI solutions (DNS, DHCP, IPAM), including grid management, high availability, and role-based access.
- Solid experience with Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure (e.g., AOS, Prism, AHV or other hypervisors on Nutanix), including cluster operations and troubleshooting.
- In-depth experience with Windows Server operating systems (2016/2019/2022 or later), including installation, configuration, patching, and performance tuning.
- Strong knowledge of DNS concepts and operations (zone types, record types, forwarding, split-brain DNS, reverse lookup zones, conditional forwarders, etc.).
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls, load balancers) as they relate to DNS, DHCP, and virtualized infrastructure.
- Experience with scripting/automation (Ansible and Powershell).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools for server and infrastructure health (e.g., OEM tools or APM/monitoring platforms).
- Troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze logs, traces, and metrics to identify root cause.
- Experience documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities
- This technician will support a large federal agency's Network Infrastructure through survey, design, and deployment of structured networks and will be responsible for the upkeep of the security posture of the environment
- This is accomplished through projects such as new installations, life cycle replacement projects, Cable Plant and wireless installations that are compliant with commercial, TEMPEST, and NIST standards
- Lead network survey, design and installations under direction of the government

What will you do?
As the Site Reliability Technician, you will provide the first line response to production issues including but not limited to outages, end user performance, change management, monitoring, improving the efficiency and usability of production test infrastructure and applications, and ensuring all site test infrastructure software and hardware is maintained with the latest updates to ensure high levels of performance and reliability.

Sustaining support and maintenance for the manufacturing server (L10) and rack (L11-L12) level test software and infrastructure deployed at our production facilities.
Support the siteβs manufacturing server (L10) and rack (L11-L12) current test infrastructure as well as future expansion planning, deployments, and assembly.
Maintain manufacturing server (L10) and rack (L11-L12) test infrastructure documentation of installations, upgrades, and management.
Communicate manufacturing test infrastructure enhancements while providing insights based on site operations and uptime challenges.
Support manufacturing test incident response, analysis, and corrective actions for the site operations.
Participate in closed loop analysis/responses to factory test failures.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on the test infrastructure, including MDF, IDF, and SUT TORs

Position Summary:
We are looking for an AWS Dev OpsEngineer with hands-on experience in AWS Tools to help build and maintain cloud infrastructure that supports our data and analytics platforms. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in cloud engineering who is ready to take ownership of infrastructure components and collaborate across teams to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient solutions. Executes projects to research, proof of concept, and implement new solutions. Maintains awareness of trends and technologies to meet new and emerging stakeholder requirements.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Champion the selection of Data and Analytics platforms and tools to be used across the enterprise.
- Engage with users and vendors to execute technology proof of concepts that validate use cases and the value of new solutions.
- Onboard new platforms and tools to ensure solutions are adopted effectively across the organization.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering and Data Science teams to identify tooling gaps and inefficiencies and partner to implement solutions for their needs.
- Build and maintain AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools like CloudWatch.
- Participate in CI/CD pipeline development and deployment automation.
- Ensure infrastructure security through proper IAM policies, encryption, and network configurations.
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and solution architects to improve infrastructure design and performance.
- Document infrastructure processes and configurations for operational transparency and team knowledge sharing.

- Proficient in managing and maintaining Linux-based systems, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Experienced with shell scripting, system security, user management, and automation tools to ensure reliable and efficient server operations.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with a focus on AWS.
- Experience working with structured and unstructured data and data storage technology RDS Postgres, S3
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK).
- Experience with AWS services relevant to data and analytics (e.g., Glue, Redshift).
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Git, GitHub, CI/CD, Docker).
