Job PurposeThe Delivery Engineering Group conducts Discrete-Event Simulation studies for Delivery impact analysis of mass-pro Run-Rate and/or E-flow Investment change-points for NM, Layout Inno/Renovation, and Capacity changes for manufacturing regionally across North America.
Key Accountabilities- Conduct mass production run-rate analysis studies utilizing Discrete Event Simulation and
- Data Analytics & Statistical tools to support Delivery run-rate target achievement in North America Weld and Assembly depts as part of BP theme activity.
- Software Training Regarding Simulation & Data Tools
- Fulfill manufacturing dept requests to study delivery impact due to NM/NM-Tech/Innovation E- Flow investment studies to determine feasibility and ROI by completing simulation model
- development, validation, scenario testing, sensitivity analysis and optimization.
Minimum Educational Qualifications - Bachelor’s of Science in Industrial (and Systems) Engineering
Minimum Experience 0-3 Years
Other Job-Specific Skills
Simulation Software Experience Not Required, but Ideal.
Knowledge of Basic Statistics and Basic Excel Functions.
Strong verbal and written skills to communicate effectively both with customers and internal project team
