We have an opportunity at our corporate offices in Chicago for a Digital Analytics Manager on our Scientific Publication team. This is a hybrid position reporting into our Chicago, IL office, requiring 3 days a week in the office.

This role applies digital analytics to JAMA Network's social
media and communications strategy, independently managing complex tasks and
workflows, and delivering insights that enhance engagement and visibility. This
role drives innovation by proposing and implementing new approaches, and by
researching and recommending emerging analytics tools that align with JAMA Network's business goals. The role is responsible for
delivering quantifiable impact, improving operational efficiency, and
continuously optimizing audience engagement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Digital Analytics & Engagement Innovation
  • Apply analytics and data intelligence approaches to identify predictive insights and trend forecasts that inform content planning, audience targeting, and continuous performance optimization.
  • Propose and implement innovative methods, including AI tools, automation, and advanced dashboards, to enhance social media workflows, operational efficiency, and content lifecycle management.
  • Document and maintain scalable workflows, automation protocols, and system integrations to support long-term growth.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend new platforms or tools to ensure JAMA and the JAMA Network remain at the forefront of data-driven communications.
  • Translate analytics findings into actionable recommendations for posting cadence, platform usage, and engagement tactics.
  • Partner with the digital analytics team to monitor, analyze, and report on social media and news media performance across all key platforms.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking and social listening to identify emerging opportunities and inform proactive content and global engagement strategies.

Content Creation & Execution
  • Partner with the Manager in scheduling and distributing editorial content across JAMA Network's social media platforms, aligning with audience behavior and engagement trends.
  • Design and produce compelling, high-quality social media content, ensuring consistency with brand identity and audience expectations.
  • Continuously monitor emerging social media platforms, tools, and trends, both domestically and internationally, to proactively identify opportunities for innovation and audience expansion.

Media Relations & Communications Intelligence
  • Collaborate with the communications team to amplify global earned media coverage of JAMA Network journals across digital platforms, including integration into content calendars.
  • Monitor media coverage and sentiment using digital monitoring tools and compile regular reports to assess reach, tone, and impact.
  • Track and analyze media engagement metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness and inform future outreach efforts.
  • Leverage intelligence insights to identify emerging trends and international developments that may influence public perception, media narratives, or communications planning.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor's degree required.

2. 5+ years of experience in social media, marketing, or communications, with strong knowledge of platform best practices.

3. 3+ years of experience in applying data analytics to communication work, including working knowledge of SQL (relational databases, Pivot Tables), and experience with dashboard development (e.g., GA4, Looker Studio, Tableau).

4. 2+ years of hands-on experience with automation tools and workflows, with the ability to support implementation of AI-driven solutions.

5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex tasks, prioritize effectively, and continuously optimize processes.

6. Proven ability to translate data into actionable recommendations for communication planning.

7. Excellent written and verbal communication, combined with strong teamwork skills, for effective cross-functional collaboration.

This role is an exempt position, and the salary range for this position is $85,680.00 - $113,526.00. This is the lowest to highest salary we believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's pay within the salary range will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to business consideration and geographical location, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. JOB SUMMARY

Take and fill ticket orders for individual ticket purchases over the telephone and at the box office window.

§ Build rapport, on-going relationships, and credibility with customers by delivering consistent and excellent customer care, anticipating their needs (and objectives of the customer) and initiate any service recovery.

§ Understand and provide information: seating, prices, fees, and sections of multiple venues, as well as parking options and directions and related information to help provide optimal customer experience.

§ Provide customers insight and updates on the season, programs, and various subscription package and product options, in order to increase sales, engagement and/or customer service.

§ Explain provide upgrade options and fill orders for interested patrons.

§ Assist patrons/subscribers with ticket exchanges.

§ Provide assistance and support for ticketing matters for internal department needs.

Data Management

§ Process all transactions through Tessitura.

§ Create and maintain accurate customer data in Tessitura.

§ Provide daily payment settlements to management; ensure final report balances credit cards, cash, and check transactions.

§ Filling in CSI’s to capture customer feedback after shows, etc.

Other:

§ Prepare tickets for mailing or will call as needed.

§ Correspond with customers via email, phone or any other written documentation is imperative.

§ Contribute and assist in various CR-related administrative tasks and duties to support smooth-running CR operations.

§ Work collaboratively with organizational colleagues across the organization.

§ Share frontline customer feedback with Marketing and Development team as appropriate.

On-site service:

§ Provide customer/subscriber and relationship management support on performance weekends and locations.

§ Provide clerk duties at the MCB Store, both on-location and at various performance venues.

 

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

About the Role

The Meta Strategist will own the end-to-end strategy, execution, and optimization of GLD’s paid social advertising across Meta platforms (Facebook & Instagram).   • Analyze creative performance data to identify winning concepts, hooks, formats, and messaging themes across TOF and BOF.
  • Build and maintain a creative testing framework with clear hypotheses, naming conventions, and documentation.
  • Monitor creative fatigue and proactively plan refresh cycles to sustain performance.


3. Data Analytics & DOMO Reporting

  • Build and maintain DOMO dashboards to track Meta performance across KPIs including ROAS, CPA, CTR, hook rate, hold rate, and thumbstop ratio.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses on campaign, ad set, ad, and creative-level performance to surface insights and inform budget allocation.
  • Create automated reporting workflows within DOMO that integrate Meta Ads data with Shopify revenue and attribution data.
  • Present weekly and monthly performance reports to leadership with clear narratives, trend analysis, and recommended actions.
  • QA data pipelines and ensure accuracy of metrics across platforms and reporting tools.


4. Cross Functional Partnerships

  • Act as the primary liaison between Performance Marketing and Creative, Retention, E-commerce, and Ops teams.
  • Coordinate with Retention/CRM on audience list management, suppression strategies, and lifecycle alignment.
  • Collaborate with E-commerce to align ad messaging with site promotions, product launches, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Share learnings and best practices across paid media channels (TikTok, Google, Snapchat) to maintain a unified growth strategy.


Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience managing Meta Ads at scale ($500K+/month in spend).
  • Strong working knowledge of Meta’s Andromeda ad ranking system and how it impacts delivery, auction dynamics, and performance optimization.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and optimize ad creative performance across TOF and BOF, with a portfolio of data-driven creative decisions.
  • Proven ability to write and build creative briefs independently, translating data into actionable creative direction.
  • Proficiency in DOMO for building dashboards, creating data flows, and generating automated reports.
  • Advanced analytical skills with comfort working across large data sets to extract meaningful insights.
  • Experience with Shopify and ecommerce attribution models.
  • Strong understanding of full funnel paid media strategy in a DTC environment.
  • Experience with tools like Triple Whale, Northbeam, or similar attribution platforms preferred.
  • Knowledge of complementary paid channels (TikTok Ads, Google Ads, Snapchat Ads) a plus.
  • Comfortable in a fast paced, high growth DTC environment where priorities shift quickly.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to Miami HQ on a quarterly or monthly basis as needed.
