When not providing care in the clinic our group enjoys book clubs, potlucks, gardening, fire pits, learning about the Navajo culture, hiking, rock climbing, camping, biking, cross country skiing.

Appropriate and timely medical services in accordance with the standards of care established by recognized medical care organizations.

Shall make preliminary diagnosis, direct, prescribe or provide treatment, or arrange for specialized care or patient referral as required.

Evaluate patients presenting for services.

Shall base decisions upon information obtained, professional medical knowledge and skills and prescribe policies and procedures.

Shall make note of observations to be incorporated into clinical records.

Shall provide emergency care as required.

Shall provide definitive management in all medical categories for cases that do not require referrals.

Shall give total patient care including prevention, health maintenance, early diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up services to patients under his/her care.

Must be BLS certified, ACLS and PALS certified.

When working in urgent care department, shall provide patient care and obtains consultants as needed.

Patients occasionally present to urgent care with urgent medical issues and may require prompt evaluation and decision making.

Shall provide primary medical care to patients with a wide spectrum of illness in urgent care department, including evaluation, stabilization and transfer of patients with sepsis, MI, laceration, fracture, abdominal pain, glycemic issues, psychiatric illness, respiratory conditions, pediatric illness and renal dysfunction with the capabilities of recognizing and giving initial treatment of acute and psychiatric problems.

Shall conduct outpatient clinics making observations appropriate to the outpatient's underlying disease and treatment plan, including current symptoms.

Shall refer patients to appropriate contracted medical or other government facilities, providing full clinical information for care and diagnostic procedures that cannot be adequately provided at local I.H.S.

facilities.

REQUIREMENTS Shall have a minimum of 36 months of Family Practice/General Medicine Physician work experience.

There must be no lapse of services of more than six consecutive months for at least 12 months prior to beginning tour of duty.

Shall have completed all requirements of residency training and experience in Family Medicine/General Medicine.

Primary Purpose

The Project Delivery Manager (PDM) is critical to the successful conduct of ophthalmic certifications in Biopharmaceutical-sponsored clinical trials, as a matrix leader of a vendor project team. The OCPM will be client-facing and serve as the internal lead of the project through the life cycle of the study, ensuring effective project delivery in agreement with contracted project timeline and budget. The PDM directs project delivery by driving team and financial efficiency, work product quality, and is responsible for client satisfaction through strong relationship management.

* Serves as the primary point of contact for biopharma clients and demonstrates proficiency in knowledge and understanding of client needs.
* Ensures that deliverables for the assigned projects are completed according to the contract budget, schedule, and quality standards. Projects will be effectively managed in all areas of performance.
* Develops successful working relationships with clients, executive management, and project staff and collaborates to manage project issues, proactively identify and mitigate risks and drive milestone achievement.
* Tracks project deliverables against contract. Proactively prepares/presents study metrics to maintain transparency for internal/external stakeholders. Monitors trends and drives changes to the plan as needed; identifies risks to delivery and agrees to mitigation plans with the project team to be presented to the client.
* Ensures adherence to quality control expectations and milestone timelines for delivery of contractually required reports and deliverables.
* Identifies and manages changes to scope and requests for out-of-scope activities. Collaborates with Business Development, Contracts Department, and executive management to ensure timel y execution of contract amendments/change orders. Prospectively manages client expectations.
* Identifies and documents lessons learned from study successes and challenges to promote development of best practices.
* Models and propagates Emmes' commitment to a culture of quality in all aspects of our deliverables, utilizing a solution-based, science-driven, value-added approach in collaborating with clients.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

* Experienced in developing and maintaining customer relationships.

About the role:

* Primary care friendly Athena EMR. We provide training and 1:1 HIT assistance on first day of practice. (Dragon Dictation; templates, smart phrases, Up-to-Date access)
* 2 or more providers at each site
* You have 2 dedicated MAs and a receptionist - all are bilingual, plus you will have Language Line support provided. MAs are HIGHLY trained 3 weeks of boot camp initially and the model of care is that providers go in 1 time, with MAs having taken care of the rest.
* M-F work schedule; 8 hour shifts. Tuesday Friday 8:30am -5:30pm; Monday s our centers are open until 8pm; providers rotate covering the 11am 8pm shift.
* Telephone call only 1 week primary and 1 week of backup per year. Get 10-15 calls per week. Can go wherever you want as long as access to your phone.
* Each physician gets 3 exam rooms.
* Referral Center, once provider submits referral through patient chart, the referral staff will do pre-auth, schedule appt with patient, do follow up and pull chart notes from visit and add to patients chart.
* E-consults available for specialties that might take a while for patients to be seen - send documentation, labs, etc out and the consult will send recommendations back within 48 hours.
* Structured work flow, with 2 hours of charting/catch up planned each day, not including your uninterrupted lunch.
* 24 patients per day is standard goal, but not mandatory.
