Qualifications: Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), or foreign equivalent.

Completion of a three-year postgraduate medical training program in ophthalmology from a U.S.

accredited residency.

Completion of a medical or medical-surgical retina fellowship, preferably registered with AUPO-FCC.

Board Eligible/Board Certified in Ophthalmology.

Current, unrestricted New York State license or eligibility for licensure.

Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or eligibility.

Active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or eligibility.

Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) strongly preferred.

Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
