Our exciting Space client are inneed of a Senior Staff Power Electronics Engineer to Design custom mid-high power (>2kW desired) supply design for Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs) to be used on Spacecraft / Propulsion Systems.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• The Senior Staff Power Electronics Engineer will be responsible for performing design, analysis, and research tasks as they relate to electronics used for avionics, power distribution, power storage and power controllers for microsatellites and Propulsion power processing units (PPU).
• Responsible for medium to large sized projects or components and will be expected to work within the electrical engineering team to solve complex problems and support and mentor more junior engineers in their tasks as they relate to electrical circuit design.
• Develop electronic hardware, including part selection, schematic capture, layout, and fabrication data for circuit board designs Support fabrication, test and debugging of hardware.
• Document test results and customer requirements, assist with the development of production procedures for designs.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• 10+ years experience in electrical circuit design, with a focus on power converter design, with preferred experience in spacecraft electronics design.
• Proficient in Circuit analyses such as gain/phase analysis, stress/derating, reliability, etc.
• Expert in custom, mid-high power (>2kW desired) supply design for Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs)
• Proficient with general lab equipment for board bring-up (oscilloscopes, power supplies, soldering etc)
• Proficient with testing and debugging circuitry.
• Proficient with schematic capture/PCB layout software
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience with Altium software – other similar tools fine
• Experience with SiMetrix and/or LTSpice – other similar tools fine

Your New Role:

Coordinate manufacturing needs with engineering solutions. Develop guidelines for manufacturing for new materials and find improvements in machine design and material handling for increased profitability of current materials.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Identify potential opportunities for improvement in methods of extrusion

· Document and standardize each improvement in terms of efficiency and quality

· Train personnel, from management to lead positions in improved process methods

· Help in the investigation of customer complaints that involve the process as necessary

The Manufacturing Science Associate will engage in various aspects of pharmaceutical production, including formulation, aseptic filling, visual inspection and secondary packaging, as well as equipment and process implementation activities required to bring the facility into service. As a Manufacturing Science Associate, you will be part of a team that will execute batch release processes in the course of internally manufactured products. You will ensure drug product manufacturing is carried out in a compliant manner in accordance with current Quality Standards and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs). The responsibilities of a Manufacturing Science Supervisor would include those of a Manufacturing Science Associate, and:

• Ensure production activities comply with cGMP guidelines. Follow all documentation and standard operating procedures. Set priorities, process execution, work assignments, and reprioritize as required.
• Responsibility for providing support to their respective process team.
• Responsibility for cGMP compliance, ensuring that all production equipment is properly validated, and procedures are maintained within validated state.
• Author and revise standard operating procedures and batch records. Review technical reports. Conduct deviation investigations and write process deviation reports.
• Ensure that all production equipment is properly maintained, production areas are inspection ready, and production processes meet quality standards.
• Train personnel in manufacturing process/operations following standard operating procedures and cGMP guidelines.
• Measure and appraise operator performance against job duties, objectives, and goals. Provide accurate and timely feedback. Recommend merit increases, promotions, hires, and terminations.
• Serve as a manufacturing advocate in cross functional meeting and champion company policies to area staff.
• Contribute and adhere to safety, environment, and quality of the Company.
• Communicate safely and maintenance problems., status of operations, and employee-related issues in a timely manner to management.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• We have several levels open for Manufacturing Science Associates and Supervisors which are based on the experience and education you bring.
• Minimum education: Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific discipline such as Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or other related discipline, or a High School Diploma/GED equivalent with more than five (5) years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate (electronically, written and verbal)
• Flexibility - the ability to troubleshoot and triage challenges
• Computer proficiency (desktop and tablet software, MS office, quality management system (“QMS”)).

We are looking for a Head of Manufacturing & Test Operations to build Vibrant's manufacturing organization from the ground up. This role is full-time and on-site in Ridgefield, CT.

This is not a maintenance role inside an established factory. This is a 0 to 1 build.

You will design the production floor, implement manufacturing systems, develop testing infrastructure, and establish the quality processes that ensure every system leaving the facility performs reliably in the field. You will work directly with executive leadership to define how our products are built, tested, and delivered.

The right person is both strategic and hands-on — comfortable defining manufacturing architecture and stepping onto the floor to debug hardware and solve problems. Your work will directly determine Vibrant's ability to scale.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manufacturing System Architecture

• Design and build Vibrant's manufacturing operations from the ground up
• Define production line architecture, workstation layouts, and assembly flow
• Establish SOPs, assembly instructions, and process controls

Production Operations

• Own throughput, yield, and reliability across all manufacturing lines

The ideal candidate is a proactive Manufacturing Engineer who will own product manufacturing from development through project completion. A successful candidate in this position will be responsible for developing conventional machining processes for engine ran and new power generation turbine components. The position also assists in shop floor execution, perform data analysis to drive process improvement, and interact with Product Engineering departments to address non-conformances and opportunities to improve design manufacturability. Our Manufacturing Engineers are expected to work collaboratively with other Manufacturing Engineers, Fixture Engineers, CMM Programmers, and Set-up Operators on a daily basis in these efforts.

This Manufacturing Engineer position will spend equal time working within establish manufacturing systems creating process documentation for production execution and working on the shop floor to observe and improve processes as well as process execution.

* Develop and implement manufacturing processes and CNC programs for complex 4- and 5-axis milling of turbine airfoil components.

We are supporting an innovative space company seeking a Senior Power Electronics / EPS Architect to own the design and maturation of a high-voltage spacecraft electrical power system, approximately 400V.

This is a technical leadership role responsible for end-to-end EPS architecture, from solar array interfaces through regulation, storage, distribution, protection, and system integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the detailed architecture of a high-voltage spacecraft power system.
• Define solar array regulation including S3R or MPPT, battery charge and discharge, bus regulation, and distribution strategies.
• Lead DC-DC converter topology selection and design, including protection schemes and derating strategy.
• Address high-voltage space environment risks including plasma interaction, insulation, grounding, and compliance with relevant standards.
• Perform system-level fault analysis and FMEA, define safe-mode behaviors, and support integration with control systems and high-power payloads.
• Define and execute verification, integration, and qualification strategy through PDR, CDR, and flight readiness.

Required Experience:

• 10+ years in power electronics and spacecraft EPS design.
• Strong background in high-voltage DC systems, power conversion, and fault-tolerant distribution
• Experience delivering hardware from concept through test and qualification.
• Experience designing for radiation environments and high-reliability aerospace systems.

An Electronics Lab Assembly/Solder Technician is responsible for assembling, cabling, and validating complex testing rack test systems. This includes building and repairing cables and connector assemblies as a critical part of the role. Principal Accountabilities

• Daily Engagement of workforce through direction of work assignments, compensation, communication, recognition, development and coaching, etc…
