Reporting directly to the Global Vice President, Total Rewards, the Global Director, Compensation Operations is the senior leader accountable for the effectiveness and efficiency of key global compensation programs. This role will have ownership over global job architecture management, job evaluation methodology, and flawless delivery of all annual pay cycles and compliance initiatives across 19 countries. Scope of this role includes the development, evaluation, and continuous improvement of existing executive, salaried, and hourly compensation programs, generating critical data insights, and how leaders and employees engage with them. This person will drive process automation, ensure that all compensation budgets and practices are defensible, transparent and aligned with HelloFresh's strategic goals and all programs and processes support our strategy to attract, motivate, and retain the right talent, building a great place to work.

You will...

I. Global Programs Ownership

  • Global Job Levelling & Evaluation: Govern, and execute the global Job Architecture including job levelling and titling nomenclature. Lead the implementation and standardization of the job evaluation methodology used to grade and level all roles worldwide (VP+ down to Front-Line).
  • Pay Structure Development & Administration: Design, model, and maintain global pay structures and salary bands. Ensure pay ranges are aligned with the strategic market positioning.
  • Benchmarking & Market Pricing: Direct the enterprise benchmarking and market pricing process to ensure compensation programs remain market relevant and aligned to the Total Rewards strategy while ensuring internal equity.
  • Pay Practice Guidelines: Develop, document, and publish comprehensive global pay practice guidelines, tools and policies (e.g., managing promotions, starting salaries, retention awards) that enable HRBPs and Talent Acquisition while ensuring legal compliance and internal equity across all regions.
  • Policy Development: Lead the development and maintenance of formal global compensation policies, ensuring adherence to the Total Rewards philosophy and ease of use and understanding for HRBPs, leaders and employees.

II. Global Operations, Financial & Compliance Execution

  • Compensation Budgets & Forecasting: Lead the annual process for developing, modeling, and securing approval for global Compensation Budgets and forecasting (including merit, promotions, and variable payout pools).
  • Annual Cycle Leadership: Own the end-to-end operational execution of major global compensation cycles (merit review, incentives and equity administration) for executives, salaried and hourly employees, ensuring timely, accurate, and standardized delivery across all countries. Oversee in partnership with the People Services team the administration of compensation changes including equity program, variable compensation programs and job rating/evaluation.
  • Global Compliance Initiatives: Direct the operational execution of key global compliance initiatives, including data collection and analysis necessary for the EU Pay Transparency Directive and legal consultation with Works Councils.
  • Budget Compliance Oversight: Implement rigorous financial controls to audit and reconcile Compensation Budget spend against approved Finance targets throughout the year.
  • Workday Integrations & Automation: lead Workday integrations related to compensation data flow (e.g., to Payroll/Finance) and implement process automation to reduce manual effort and system errors.

III. Data Reporting & Stakeholder Management

  • Data Reporting & Insights: Oversee the development and maintenance of executive-level compensation dashboards and reports. Ensure timely and accurate reporting for strategic decision-making and financial forecasting.
  • Stakeholder Management: Foster strong partnerships with business leaders, HR Business Partners, and People Team functional experts to develop compensation solutions that meet the needs of the business while ensuring global consistency and alignment to the Total Rewards strategy. Act as the final point of escalation for complex compensation issues - developing and coordinating solutions across the People team that ensure relevant and timely solutions.

  • A minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in designing and implementing compensation programs, with at least 3 years managing a global or multi-regional compensation function.

Job Summary


The Payroll Supervisor oversees the organization’s end-to-end payroll operations within the UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) environment, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing. This role provides leadership to payroll staff, enforces internal controls, and partners closely with HR, Finance, and leadership. The Payroll Supervisor also serves as a UKG subject matter expert (SME), guiding system usage, troubleshooting, configuration support, and process optimization.

Job Responsibilities


  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains payroll team members, including onboarding related to UKG workflows, system features, and compliance standards.
  • Oversees daily team operations, workload distribution, and payroll processing cycles within UKG Pro and/ or UKG Dimensions.
  • Conducts performance evaluations and provides coaching to drive accuracy, service excellence, and system proficiency.
  • Partners with the Payroll Manager and Director of Payroll on disciplinary actions and terminations in accordance with company policy.
  • Fosters a collaborative team culture committed to data integrity, continuous improvement, and strong system utilization.
  • Oversees payroll processes within the UKG platform, ensuring accurate preparation, calculation, and distribution of payroll.
  • Reviews and approves payroll transactions including wages, bonuses, garnishments, benefits deductions, taxes, and other earnings/deductions in UKG.
  • Ensures timely processing of all changes (new hires, terminations, pay adjustments, status changes) in the UKG system.
  • Manages data integrity by monitoring UKG timekeeping, accruals, and scheduling modules when applicable.
  • Conducts audits of UKG payroll reports, calculations, and timekeeping data to ensure accuracy and identify system or user-driven discrepancies.
  • Interprets and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws, with application within UKG configuration and processing rules.

Control Engineer – Junction Box

Position Overview

Virginia Transformer Corporation is seeking a Control Engineer – Junction Box to support the design and development of control systems and wiring architectures for transformer junction box assemblies. This role is responsible for developing electrical schematics, control wiring designs, and documentation that support transformer monitoring, protection, and auxiliary control functions.

The Control Engineer will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and production teams to ensure junction box designs meet customer specifications, electrical standards, and manufacturability requirements while supporting Virginia Transformer’s continued growth in utility, industrial, renewable energy, and data center markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop control wiring systems and electrical schematics for transformer junction boxes.
  • Create and maintain detailed electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and bills of materials (BOMs).
  • Interpret and implement customer specifications and project requirements for control and monitoring systems.
  • Support integration of protective relays, sensors, alarms, terminal blocks, and monitoring devices used in transformer applications.
  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and efficient for production.
  • Provide engineering support for production troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives to improve reliability and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and vendors to select appropriate electrical components and materials.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and internal engineering requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and support engineering change management processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
  • 3–10+ years of experience in electrical or control engineering in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Experience developing electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control system documentation.
  • Familiarity with industrial control components such as relays, sensors, terminal blocks, and monitoring devices.
  • Experience with CAD or electrical design software (AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar).
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, production, and quality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with power transformers, substations, or power distribution equipment.
  • Knowledge of protective relaying, transformer monitoring systems, and auxiliary control circuits.
  • Familiarity with UL, IEEE, or other electrical equipment standards.
