The Inpatient RN provides direct patient care in accordance to company policies and procedures which includes FMCNA compliance programs and contracted hospitals’ policies and procedures. Areas of practice are diverse, including, but not limited to, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, continuous renal replacement therapies, apheresis, and ultrafiltration. The Inpatient RN will partner with the hospital to provide quality care to the patient and deliver care that provides a positive patient experience.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Under limited supervision, applies considerable knowledge to perform a broad range of tasks which include but are not limited to direct patient care in multiple modalities not limited to hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, ultrafiltration, continuous renal replacement therapy, and Apheresis.
- Provides supervision and direction of Patient Care Technicians and clerical staff; provides direction and education to ICU staff for CRRT.
- Responsible for direct patient care of assigned patients in the Inpatient Renal Replacement and Apheresis Services setting and providing the appropriate treatment technique for assigned patients as prescribed in all modality procedures, as appropriately defined – hemodialysis, peritoneal, continuous renal replacement therapies, ultrafiltration, and Apheresis.
- Assesses patients’ responses to treatment therapy making appropriate adjustments and modifications to the treatment plan as indicated by the appropriately credentialed physician. Communicate problems or concerns to the Inpatient Program Manager, appropriately credentialed physician, patient hospital primary nurse and others as indicated.
- Delivers safe, effective care in a timely an efficient manner.
- Gives organized, concise shift reports for patients on assigned shifts. Apply high level thinking skills to shift patient schedules to meet needs of more critical patients due to labs, MD order, or patient assessment.
- Responsible for the implementation, administration, monitoring, and documentation of patient’s response to prescribed intradialytic transfusions, including appropriate notification of adverse reactions to physician and appropriate blood supplier.
- Collaborates and communicates with physicians and other members of the healthcare team to interpret, adjust, and coordinate daily patient care plan to ensure continuity of care.
- Initiates and communicates to FMS facility nursing staff and appropriate hospital personnel as needed.
- Accurately documents all treatment information in the individual patient record (ACES) and the hospital record, as needed.
- Cleans and disinfects dialysis machine surface, chair, equipment, and surrounding areas between treatments according to inpatient renal services policies and procedures.
- Conducts all tasks necessary for preparation for dialysis treatment and documents where appropriate.
- Performs all required pre-treatment dialysis machine alarm testing.
- If applicable, initiates Solution Delivery System.
- Operates all related equipment appropriately and safely and provides minor trouble shooting when necessary; efficiently utilizes supplies to prevent waste.
- Understands, conducts, and documents appropriately Dialysis/Apheresis machine safety tests/alarm tests, equipment calibration, dialysate testing, machine safety tests, functional testing, and internal and external disinfection on all water & dialysis machines, and complies with the documentation/notification standards per FMS policies.
- Completes and documents ongoing participation in QAI activities.
- Participates in staff meetings as scheduled.
- Participates in staff training and orientation as assigned.
- Acts as a subject matter expert to hospital staff for dialysis related patient/equipment complications.

JOB SUMMARY
The Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct patient care to cardiac patients and communicate with the physician continuously to ensure patient safety during procedures. Working with the Cardiology Service Leaders and Providers, the Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) assesses, plans, implements, and collaborates with other departments to ensure excellence in patient and family care, reflective of CCH mission, vision, and values. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provides intensive, direct patient care to Cardiac Catheterization lab patient populations in the roles of moderate sedation, circulating, and monitoring.
- Performs patient assessment and documents in patient record.
- Develops an age-appropriate plan of care, which addresses physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs, in collaboration with other members of the health care team.

Unit Overview
The ICU at Duke Regional is comprised of 22 beds. Our team of nursing staff provides care for patients 14 years or older with actual or potential life-threatening conditions by performing complex assessments, high intensity therapies, interventions, and continuous monitoring. Affords the clinical experience to attain strong critical thinking skills, vast knowledge of disease processes and body systems, and robust care management skills. Occ Summary
Independently plan and provide professional nursing care for patients in accordance with physician orders and established policies and procedures. Provide nursing services to patients and families in accordance with the scope of the RN as defined by the North Carolina Board of Nursing.

Education

Position Description
Kaleidoscope ABA is looking to hire a Center-based BCBA. As a crucial member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in designing client programming that is ethical, appropriately individualized and implemented with integrity.
*BCBA will deliver direct supervision to their BTs/RBTs as well as manage and supervise a small caseload of 4-6 clients.
*Regularly review data collected in sessions with staff and family, interpret the results, and modify the individualized treatment plan accordingly.
*Provide supervision by observing and having team meetings with the staff and the families.
*Consult with the family regarding any concerns related to treatment, behavior modification or staff.
BCBAs at Kaleidoscope ABA are provided the support of their Clinical Manager; assistance which includes administrative support, scheduling help and general assistance with the BCBA's caseload.
Location and Hours
BCBAs are in the Center Monday-Friday.
Required Experience and Education
* Certified as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) as verified through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
* A minimum of 1 year experience in working with children, adolescents, and/or adults with various special needs.
* Knowledge of appropriate behavioral intervention strategies, earning theories and instructional methods, ethics, laws, and regulations of acceptable behavior interventions.
* Proficient as Office 365, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ABA software platforms
* Ability to meet the rigorous demands of the job, which may include long periods of standing, sitting, following, pushing/pulling equipment, and/or lifting as well as the ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and spend time on their feet as well as an ability to lift children, to 50 lbs., on occasion. You may spend a significant amount of time crouching, crawling, and engaging with children on the floor or standing for long periods.

What you will do in this role:
- Direct project(s) including project design and schedule to meet development of short and long-term objectives and recommends goals to management.

What you will bring to the role:

The Industrial Engineer II studies, plans, and coordinates manufacturing operations to improve productivity, efficiency, material flow, and facility utilization. This role applies generally accepted Industrial Engineering and financial practices to drive Lean initiatives, cost-justified improvements, and operational excellence.
Job Duties:
- Establish and continually improve Lean operational methods and work standards; analyze existing operations and implement cost-justified improvements using the sufficiency plan process.
- Maintain templates and process documentation and ensure effective utilization of Epicor.
- Participate in 5S initiatives, Kaizen events, Six Sigma projects, and Kanban system analysis and implementation.
- Optimize floorspace, material flow, manpower utilization, workstation design, and equipment using Industrial Engineering and Lean Manufacturing methods.
- Apply standardized work, line balancing, time studies, labor routing, theory of constraints, ergonomic assessment, visual management, Andon, and mixed-model sequencing and scheduling.
- Create templates, reports, and methods supporting management reporting systems including end-of-shift reports, KPI reporting, unit cost reports, productivity and efficiency analysis, budget analysis, cost reduction analysis, CapEx justifications, and make vs. buy analysis.
- Analyze and document current-state material flow strategies and develop a Plan for Every Part (PFEP) system to support warehousing, kitting, sub-assembly, and line-side delivery.
- Assist, mentor, and train Industrial and Manufacturing Engineers on standard tools, systems, and methods; lead small projects as needed.
- Provide technical support to operations and serve as a liaison between product engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, quality, and customer service.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and plant safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related engineering field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Industrial Engineer.
- Demonstrated success implementing Industrial Engineering and Lean Manufacturing methods in an ISO environment.
- ERP system knowledge (Epicor, JD Edwards, SAP, or Oracle), including effective communication of process changes and system constraints.
- Familiarity with CAD software, ideally SolidWorks.
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing assembly, preferably automotive with IATF 16949 exposure.
- APICS CPIM certification.
- Experience with Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, and Kanban initiatives.
- Basic understanding of GAAP, particularly labor reporting and inventory accounting for KPI development.
