Job Description:

  • We are seeking a Mac Support Technician with hands-on JAMF experience to provide Tier 1 technical support for Mac devices and end users. This role is responsible for device deployment, troubleshooting, ticket management, and supporting day-to-day IT operations.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide Tier 1 support for Mac hardware, macOS, software applications, connectivity, and peripherals
  • Image, configure, and deploy Mac devices using JAMF
  • Manage device inventory, policies, and updates in JAMF
  • Perform password resets and assist users with MFA setup and troubleshooting
  • Troubleshoot email, VPN, Wi-Fi, and basic network connectivity issues

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of IT end user support experience in a Mac focused environment (80% Mac/20% Windows)
  • Prior experience providing Desktop Support at Tier 2 levels as well as being in an active member of an on-call support rotation.
  • Experience using desktop imagining and MDM tools, such as Intune, SmartImager, Imperious, and SmartDeploy.
  • Thorough knowledge of PC hardware, PDA devices, desktop software, Windows 10 and 11, O365, anti-virus, internet browsers, and network connectivity.
  • Hands-on experience working with and updating support tickets in a ticket management platform such as ServiceNow, Zendesk, or Jira.
  • Customer focused approach to delivering excellent service and support to internal customers.

Qualifications

  • Must possess an Associate’s degree
  • Must Possess a minimum of 3 years of security supervisory experience
  • Have one of the below experience qualifications:
  • A minimum of 4 years in a U.S. Military Special Operations Unit or U.S. Law Enforcement Special Operations Unit, OR
  • A minimum of 4 years in a combat Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) and a minimum of 2 years as a sworn law enforcement officer/agent, OR
  • A minimum of 6 years as a sworn law enforcement officer/agent. For purposes of this paragraph, a sworn law enforcement officer/agent shall mean a person who is legally authorized to carry a firearm and legally empowered to perform arrests and who has satisfied all applicable legal and training requirements for armed law enforcement officers in the jurisdiction in which they were employed
  • Be a U.S. Citizen with a social security card and a valid driver's license
  • Must meet all medical and physical standards and satisfactorily complete background checks, psychological and drug screening

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF A MAC SENIOR ESTIMATOR


Estimating Leadership

  • Lead and manage the preparation of detailed cost estimates for projects from conceptual through final bid documents.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
